Located in Horsham, this charming house for £105 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Kuranda is located three blocks from the town centre just a short stroll to restaurants, cafe's, shopping centre, fast food outlets, Horsham race track with excercise track and the beautiful Wimmera River walk with fantastic playgrounds for the kids.. Hidden behind a tall hedge is a large Heritage home with double door wide entrance hall, high ceilings, 4 bedrooms with 2 living areas with open fire places(not in use, ornamental only), dining, country kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 5th small bedroom/office(original maids room) and sleeps up to 10 people. Former doctors residence , step back in time with generous sized rooms, leadlight windows, timber lined hallways and ornate light fittings. Main bedroom KIng bed with bay window / reading lounge, 2nd bedroom with queen bed, 3rd bedroom with 2 single beds and trundle, 4th bedroom with two single beds plus a second TV for the kids with a Wii and with DVD player . One of the living rooms features a fold out sofa double bed and also features a large screen TV, entertainment system, pool table, games, books, dvd's and toys to entertain the kids. Large country style kitchen with oven, gas cooktop and tea /coffee supplied. Relax on the deck, pick up a book and enjoy the outlook over the garden. The house has evaporative cooling and central heating. Outside is a decked area overlooking the garden with an outdoor setting, enjoy a BBQ and play cricket in a fully enclosed back yard with established garden. Bring your pets with you, beds and bowls provided.

We enjoyed our stay here. Its a big house with comfortable beds and big kitchen. Our dog loved the backyard too. The art and decoration in the house is beautiful. Good collection of books and dvds.

Fabulous overnight stay. We arrived in the dark and the house was warm and comfortable. It was reassuring to know that the back yard was securely fenced for our 2 dogs when we arrived at night. Peta and Brendan have provided an amazing stay experience with the old world charm and character of this period home. The beds were so comfortable with quality bed linen and towels provided. Will be back again for a longer stay next time.

We had a lovely stay. We were visiting Horsham for the 150km Feast and had traveled from Geelong and Adelaide. The beds were comfy and the heritage features were fantastic. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The house is stunning with stained glass windows, wood panelling and ceiling panels. We kept finding features and decorations that made us love the house even more. Peta and Brendan have thought of every detail to make their guests comfortable with quality bedding, towels, laundry facilities, water bowls for the dog, a record player and, of course, the billiards table. We had a wonderful time here and wanted to stay forever.

This is a beautiful house, the pictures don’t do justice to it. We stayed at this property for two days and loved it so much we were regretting that we hadn’t booked for longer. It is very well appointed, and the host is very thoughtful and have stocked the house very generously. The decor is great, and the beds are very comfortable. Location is great too, very close to the centre of Horsham. Thank you letting us stay and enjoy this beautiful home!

We had a lovely time at this beautiful home. Even though it’s on a busy road, it’s peaceful and quiet. Our two little dogs very much enjoyed the safe back yard. And thank you Peta for putting on the heater for us, nights still get cold at this time of the year.

We were 5 men, all church pastors from west in the state. This place was central. It was cavernous to give us space from each other and had 3 areas inside where we could gather to chat, relax, collaborate. The pool table was a feature of our connecting. We found the house very well equipped for our needs, but could see it was well equipped for various groups, family or otherwise. In less winter weather that porch would have been terrific too. Car parking was good. Centrality to town and other things to do was great.

The house was amazing in size, layout and facilities. Loads of old world charm. Our only disappointment was the outside table hadn't been cleaned down. With a dog in our party we immediately headed outside to relax in the late afternoon but got pulled up.. Few other queries with owners were promptly responded to. Love to come back again..
