Enter thru security gates up to the elegant two story glass entry way. Museum quality HANDMADE furniture thru out every room in this house, built by artisans studied in Europe. Three blocks from the beach and only three miles from 'Del Mar Race Track'. 5 Bedrooms, 4 baths includes two large Master King Suites. First suite is on the first floor and is approximately 800 square feet includes gas fire place, hand carved king size bed with luxury bedding, built in desk, burl wood card table for four, seating area around plasma, surround sound, volume beamed ceilings, bathroom to die for with steam shower, 'Jacuzzi tub', huge walk in closet and sliders out to a patio with teak table and chairs for ten. Second master suite is upstairs with it's own outdoor patio with table and chairs for four, hand carved king size bed with luxury bedding, entertainment center, walk in closet, bathroom with custom carved double vanity, huge 'steam shower' with marble and European fixtures, limestone sinks and marble slab tops. Three more guest suites with hand carved beds, entertainment centers and all of the other amenities. The family room doubles as a home theatre and 'The Bar.' Wait till you see this Bar. Fit for a king! The very large kitchen Includes top of the line appliances like Viking and Sub-Zero, hand carved cabinets, entertainment center, a Honduran mahogany hand carved table that seats 12 with the extra leaf, French limestone floors through out, walls of glass looking out to the private gated jungle like compound, granite, marble, mosaics and more. Outdoor kitchen completely stainless as well includes hot water sink, 48' Lynx grill, two separate gas burners, an outside built in bar, granite slab top, refrigerator, ice maker, teak table with seating for ten under umbrella and an outdoor shower. What a party spot! Third story sun deck is amazing with it's fresh air and views. Perfect hideaway to take a little fresh air nap, with total peace and quiet or grab those great San Diego rays and tan till you can't take it anymore. This home is available on a short or long term basis. Very safe and secure home. To enter in a car you must have a clicker to get inside the compound thru the automatic gates. Separate entry with intercom for those entering on foot. Extensive alarm system. Entertainers delight! We plan on retiring and living in our dream home one day, so we are very particular about its care. We do supply maid service. If you naturally take care of other people's property as well or better than your own, then we welcome you to the experience of a lifetime. Great location! A little hideaway from the busy life, but close to beach and shops of Encinitas. If your looking for something spacious and homey for the family with amenities for all, this is it. We loved and the detail and care given to the property. Looking forward to it again.

I am originally from the area and we needed a larger home to stay while visiting family. It was absolutely fantastic. Beds are very comfortable, the house is spacious, and the hosts have provided everything possibly needed for an enjoyable stay. Highly recommended especially if you have a family with you.

House was wonderful, every high end amenity you can imagine (James put particular thought into his kitchens, showers and AV equipment). James was a great host. To get to Leucadia's restaurants and the beach its a surprisingly long walk as you cannot cross the train tracks and so have to walk 3 blocks around...

Great property
We loved being greeted and shown around by the owner. The kitchen was fully stocked and we didn’t have to buy incidentals, like cooking spray, olive oil, ketchup, etc. We liked feeding our veggie trimmings to the 3 turtles. There was plenty of body soap, hand lotion, shampoo, towels, washer soap, etc.

Ultimate luxury in one of the best neighborhoods on earth
We had a glorious week in Leucadia. The property was beautiful, with every detail taken care of. Surfboards, bikes, chairs, boogie boards ready for action. The landscape was gorgeous. The outdoor spaces equally as inviting as the indoor spaces. Chef's kitchen and grill perfect for gourmet meals or quick snacks. Every kitchen gadget, spice, condiment at the ready. Coffee, milk frother. Showers and tubs to die for. Beautiful rooftop lounge area. Towels/sheets TOP quality. Beds super comfy. Teens and Adults loved the bar area and movie room. We have rented many houses in our travels and we think this one was our favorite! We will certainly be back. Jaime and James were super easy to work with and very accommodating. Thanks for a wonderful week!

This was a great house with plenty of room and lots of amenities. Great location, walking distance to restaurants and shops. It is a bite of a hike to the beach. Owner is super easy to work with and very gracious. We will definitely come back!

A Great Place to Stay!
What a perfect place for our family holiday gathering. The listing doesn't do it justice. Very spacious and beautifully furnished. A great place for a large group. There were 11 of us and it worked out wonderfully. The neighborhood is relatively quiet, with some occasional train noise. The Encinitas community is laid-back and trendy with lots of shops and food choices.
We'll look to return as soon as we can.

Love'd it!
Even better than the online description! We really enjoyed our stay! Modern luxury! Every amenity that you could ask for. Plenty of room for our party of 10. It was a very quick drive in the golf cart to the beaches. Easy on to the highway for sightseeing. Would definitely stay there again! Our family has been renting from owners for at least 20 years and this is easily in our top 3.

Wonderful and remarkable place to stay
We just finished a week long stay at the house. 3 generations and 12 people and everyone from the little ones to the grandparents loved it! Truly remarkable property with every amenity known to man. It really was amazing! You can tell the owners put a lot of thought and effort into the home over many years to achieve something truly first class. Check-in was great and the owners were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel at home right away. Really went out of the way to show us the home. The bedrooms were spacious, and all bathrooms had fantastic showers. The kitchen is fully, fully stocked and has nothing but the best appliances. The high-end expresso machine makes fantastic coffee. The automatic chairs in the media room were phenomenal. The place was immaculate when we arrived. I could go on and on about the home, but hopefully you get the picture - recommended 100%!!

Tradition
We have made this home a tradition in our family. It is in a perfect area of California to be able to hit all the parks south and north of it. We enjoy staying there so much! The manager is amazing and so easy to communicate with. We would recommend it all day long!

Absolutely fantastic!
The house is really beautiful, phenomenally well equipped and spacious. Our two families with 11 pers were very comfortable with plenty of space to relax. The kitchen can accommodate multiple cooks and can comfortably all the family members at once. This made for magical moments. The movie room was, of course, a favorite to relax at the end of the day. Encinitas is a great location for its proximity to all the main activities, beaches and key services without being in a city.
James was very easy to reach and responsive.
Above all, my niece lost her iPhone. James found it and immediately shipped it back to us. Trustworthy and responsive!
We would definitely return to this home and area again. Hopefully soon!

Great !
Our family of 10 was very comfortable here. We have rented many houses over the years, and this was by far the best equipped, in the kitchen and throughout the house. The location was perfect for us, very close to Legoland, Birch Aquarium, Botanical Gardens, Miguels Mexican Restaurant, Bier Garden, hikes, beaches. The electric gates worked perfectly and there was ample room for our cars. We loved this house !

What a fantastic are and home to stay in. Would highly recommend it. People were wonderful to work with and answered any and all questions I may have. The house was fully loaded and provided us with a great vacation home. Everything we could have ever asked for! Truly Amazing.

We took our entire family (Kids with Spouses, Grand kids) the week after Christmas to spend some quality time together and the Home was perfect place to gather, eat and play games. close to beach, coffee houses, restaurant and other activities in the area. would stay here again when we need a So Cal get-away with Family.

A true home away from home
We stay at large multi- family rentals a few times a year and this place was great. The home is is in a great part of town very close to the beach, tons of restaurants and the best shopping around. This is the most fully stocked home we have ever rented. Beach gear, tons of linens, laundry supplies, even a fridge with sodas. They have two huge tables one indoor and one out that make gathering for meals a treat. The owners were extremely gracious host and helped us feel at home ever step of the way. We made Thanksgiving dinner here and it has a kitchen that is out of this world!. If you need it, they have it. Most vacation rentals have bare bones kitchens, not this one. It was like have the entire William-Sonoma store at your finger tips. A great stay we can't wait to come back.

Luxury Home for a great family reunion
Everything about this rental was great. Jim, the owner was very responsive. Booking with him was easy. Upon arrival he met us at the property and showed us around. The property itself is luxuriously upgraded with great layout and amenities. Bedding was some of the best you can imagine. It is a 4 min drive to the beach or 16 minute walk.
The property has a great courtyard with a large built in grill which serves as a focal point of every evening.
Had a great time and can highly recommend it.

Exactly what we were looking for...
Our group of 6 was looking for a peaceful beach retreat where we could spend the holidays, and we found exactly what we were looking for at this home. It was more than spacious enough for us and was very clean and well equipped. The gourmet kitchen was elaborately stocked with high-end appliances and dishware which came in very handy for several big holiday meals. The bed in the master bedroom was more comfortable than our bed at home, which was certainly a nice surprise. From wine tasting in Temecula to frequent trips to the beach we all had a great time. We slept like babies and ate like kings- what a nice way to bring in the new year.

Beautiful, clean, well-kept, private, spacious accomodations
Our party of eight adults loved this property! We had never been to North County before, but we all left very impressed with the area (plenty of shops, eateries, coffee, Whole foods). James and Jaime were very professional and accommodating. The property itself is fenced in, well-maintained, and much larger than we had thought it would be. Inside was beautiful, very clean, and had modern amenities.
A couple of things we loved:
Rooftop patio with furniture which had great views of the area
Large main-level patio with plenty of seating and large propane grill
Theater room with movie theater-style reclining chairs
Surfboards, Boogie Boards, Beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels all provided
Less than 5 min drive from the beach
We were more than satisfied with the entire experience and look forward to the next time!

Wonderful home
This was a wonderful home with lots of space, nicely decorated, marvelous kitchen and good location to Beacons Beach in Leucadia. The owner was very easy to deal with and accommodating. We really enjoy the space and home.

Great property
This house was everything we expected and more. The home was clean and stocked with all the necessary amenities. We took advantage of the electric car, surfboard, boogie boards and beach chairs. The large tables in the kitchen and outside sitting areas were great for getting our family together for meals. Armando was awesome and warmly welcomed us to the home.
We visited the beach, Sea World, and local shops and restaurants. We had a great time and would recommend this beautiful beach house to anyone interested in visiting the area.

Truly Luxurious Home with Amazing Amenities!
I don't even know where to begin. When you first enter the home, you are welcomed by a huge gourmet kitchen. I'm a huge foodie and could live in the kitchen and it takes a lot to impress me, but I was blown away with the appliances...from the 60" Viking dual range, the 48" Sub Zero refrigerator (and not to mention the hidden smaller refrigerators throughout the kitchen and the bar), the Wolf Toaster Oven and Blender, the Keurig coffee maker, etc. The list just goes on and on. Oh....and the cookware! Amazing! The extra grand dining table in the kitchen was truly the icing on the cake as it allowed all of us to enjoy our wonderful Thanksgiving dinner together.
The house is very well maintained and clean. Five large bedrooms. The Grand Master Suite on the first floor is the size of an average apartment unit. The owners were kind enough to also provide travel sized toiletry for our use. Beds were very comfortable and plenty of extra pillows and sheets were available.
The owners are very attentive and go the extra mile to ensure your stay is as pleasant and enjoyable as possible. Thanks James!!! Our family will definitely be back!

Fantastic home in a a great location, good hosts.
- Location: Really nice location in sleepy Leucadia with a funky and well-positioned location.
-Hosts: Very easy to deal with, went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.
-Room: 5 great bedrooms with very comfortable furnishings. Den and living room was awesome, as well as the indoor and outdoor dining rooms.
