This home has an excellent floor plan for a large family vacation! The location could not be better, true ski in/ski out. Kitchen is set up well to have meals at home. The management company appears to be responsive because of their automated respones but in actuality they were not able to do much to assist. One thing to be aware of is that the home has small issues that need repair and all of our request for help/repair (dryer, fireplaces, electric blinds) were met with a text message "the item is not an amenity of the home" Other than that it's a beautiful home.

We loved that this cabin had something for everyone. Tvs in every room, big deck, beautiful scenery.
They had a hot tub but it was out of order. Its no longer part of the listing but the room and unit is still there. Would have been amazing to be able use that space.
Loved the floor plan of this cabin!

Very disappointed! Second year at this cabin. Needs a lot of TOC! Place was dirty, blinds broken, oven door still not closing, jacuzzi broken, fireplace not working, bathroom toilet broken and so many other items that need to be addressed. Property manager is not doing a great job and the owners of this once great cabin need to address these many issues. Much better options in the area that are now on the market for renting. We will not be returning and do need t recommend for the price!

We stayed here last year and the home needed work and to be cleaned. This year it was much worse. The home has about 30 drywall patches inside, the fireplaces did not work, the shag carpet had not been vacuumed (we know this because we lost a puzzle piece and it was gross) the showers had black mold. The upstairs bonus room couch/bed wasn't even folded back, cushions taken off, wine glass w/ wine left on the desk, bathroom toilet paper holder completely broken off and sitting on the top of the toilet, crock pot and plates dirty, three bags of trash left in the garage (we called and they came and picked them up) but the worst part was a man used the code and entered into the home during the middle of the day. My friend happened to not be skiing that day and he walked in on her. He said he was there to fix a roll-a-way bed. We didn't even see a roll-a-way bed in the house. Scared her so bad. She asked him to leave and have vacasa call us. No call and he never returned.
On a positive note - the location is absolutely perfect. The pool table/ping pong table is awesome and we loved the large kitchen table. They do not have a Keurig and the coffee pot is broke so if you are a coffee person I recommend bringing your own. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything else you need. I would love to buy this home, clear out all the clutter and give it a good cleaning. It could be a 10/10 will some TLC.

We’re hoping to come back next year for our 3rd stay. The deciding factor will be if the spa is in working condition. Also the toilet near the spa would want to overflow, so we just didn’t use that restroom. The fireplace in the master bedroom wasn’t working. The large dining room table is great for family card games. The oven door doesn’t close well. Our adult children (in their 20’s) love staying here. Thanks again.

We loved the space the home offered however it needs some TLC. Shower handle missing, paint splotches, stained carpeting, needed to be cleaned (cob webs, dust, grime and mice droppings). It’s a great location however the pictures need to be retaken to show the wear and tear the house has taken. Furniture needs replaced or at least cleaned as well as ovens (we used them but they must not seal well because broil could barely melt cheese) Again if you’re not picky about where to lay your head but want to be on the slops a great location. This is not to mention the hot tub that did not work…still working out some kind of refund on that one. An additional refrigerator would be a bonus however they did have lots of pantry items.

Unit needs updating and some maintenance. Oven didn’t close and cook slow. Water in toilet ran. Blinds were broken. Good location Lots of room. We enjoyed our time together there.

This is definitely our favorite house in Brianhead, and one of our favorite rentals overall. I have never been to a more well-appointed rental and we definitely appreciate it! We were three families and there was plenty of room for everyone. The pool/ping pong table was a big hit. Ski in/ski out is a big bonus. All of us really loved this home.
But, there's a but.
The hot tub didn't work. We had no idea when we got there and filled it up. It started leaking badly. We used up all the towels in the house to soak up the water. One of our guys literally crawled under the hot tub and was able to figure out a mickey mouse solution to stop the leak temporarily. Then we had to wash all the towels. We also had no hot water the first night, which is a bummer when you want to shower after traveling all day. I contacted Vacasa that first night. Late the next morning I received a call about the hot water, but by then we figured out how to reset the water heater ourselves. No one ever came to fix the hot tub. As far as I know the water is still sitting there going to spill out any minute.
What's super shady to me is that Vacasa went into the online description and added that the hot tub was broken after we had arrived. The Vacasa ladies that I spoke with directly were super nice but changing the description after the fact is dishonest and leaves a bad taste in my mouth. And honestly, we were not rented a home as described and should get some compensation. Not only for the lack of a working hot tub, but for the headache that ensued.
Okay, did I say we still loved the house. Because we did. It's just unfortunate that right off the bat we had to deal with the aforementioned annoyances without any help. Had our guys not been so handy it would have been a lot worse.

Amazing property located on the Maryland Parkway run, the back deck is 25 feet from the groomed part of the run, super easy access. The house itself was impeccably clean and well furnished on arrival. Only negative was that the jacuzzi was not functioning during our stay, so the manager provided a $500.00 refund to compensate. Layout of the house is great for large groups of families and/or friends. Excellent for beginner skiers, you can practice right out in back of the house on a fairly modest slope. We have rented 5 different ski-in-ski-out properties in Brain Head over the past 12 years, this one is the best we've had by far. Will definitely return.

If ski-in/ski-out is at the top of your priority then this is the house for you! Great cabin that would comfortably sleep up to four families. Only negatives was the color of the jacuzzi water. Even the kids wouldn’t jump in. Also they need to update the burners in the kitchen, get the ovens cleaned properly and add some wine glasses. Other than that, we would definitely stay there again next year!

Vacasa is a terrible company to rent from if you need any sort of customer service. Good luck getting any sort of timely response on questions via email or phone calls.
