Nestled in Black Butte Ranch, this charming house for £208 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. This Country House Condominium (CHC#59) has a front row view of Phalarope Lake, the Big Meadow and the majestic Three Sisters Mountains. The condo is quite spacious at almost 1,313 sq. feet. Besides the panoramic views, you are just a short walk from the Lodge Restaurant, Recreation Barn, pool, tennis courts, Robert's Pub and the Big Meadow Pro Shop. Everything about this condo emphasizes the beautiful scenery that Black Butte Ranch is renowned for, all the while you enjoy the condo's vintage Black Butte Ranch ambiance. Two original small paned windowed solarium's provide sweeping views in the dining room and master bedroom, plus huge sliding patio doors in the dining room and large outdoor deck provides for more viewing opportunities. Watch the wildlife, waterfowl and sunsets from the large private deck while you dine in comfort with the outdoor furniture and gas BBQ provided. A full size, fully-equipped kitchen and large dining room and living room allow for comfort and convenience during your stay. Upstairs is a King bedroom with view and solarium plus a twin room which includes one extra large twin, with shared bath in the hallway. The kids will love being close to the Recreation Barn, pool and tennis courts. You will enjoy the short, scenic walk to the Lodge for an espresso, lunch, appetizers in the Lodge lounge, some gourmet cuisine, or for a quick game of tennis or swim. Golf or lunch at Robert's Pub is a quick 3 minute drive away. This condo is close to the resort's entrance for those who want to take in Central Oregon's other sites. Dog friendly! Please advise us if you are bringing a dog(s) (VRBO doesn't list the dog fees of $30/night per dog). You will be required to register your dog(s) and follow our rules governing your dog's stay. Fee are subject to change without notice. PLEASE NOTE: June 24th - September 4th there is a 6-night minimum on all condos. This place was perfect for spending time with my sister and her husband visiting from Colorado. The view is magnificent, the accommodations are very comfortable, clean, and well stocked for cooking. The solarium windows allow for maximum enjoyment of the view. We enjoyed playing games at the table in the downstairs solarium and took advantage of the recreation centers. We're particularly grateful that we could have our 16 yr. old dog with us. She rested comfortably in front of the fireplace and enjoyed walks along the lakefront.

We thought the property was beautiful. The amenities were brand new (gym, pool and restaurant) and all very nice. The house was quaint and the view from our bedroom and back patio was stunning! My only complaint would be the condo was a little outdated and bathrooms tiny. But it is a condo not a house so it was to be expected. We would definitely stay again if we went back to Black Butte Ranch.

Great location, great view, and well maintained property. Outside of some of the dishes and pots being a tad dirty (seems to happen at times with these kind of rentals), absolutely no complaints, and we'd definitely stay there again.

Best view of all! This is our 3rd visit to this property.

Very peaceful location right on the lake. We saw a lot of birds, including eagles, and a river otter. It was so beautiful with the snow and perfect for a Christmas vacation, with lots of trails for long walks. We had three adults and a dog in our group and there was plenty of room for us.
The only nit we have is there's no light in the dining room, in the summer the double height windows offer plenty of natural lighting, but in the winter the standing lamp in the corner doesn't offer any lighting. We had to move lamps from the living room into the dining room to see what we were eating.

The condo was very clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen, although a smallish galley style, was stocked well with anything and everything for the discriminating cook. When we arrived we noticed the patio door was still open a lock that was not functioning. That said, a call to the manager was sufficient to send a maintenance person to repair the lock., We felt much better about leaving the condo after the sliding glass patio door was secured. We would stay in Condo 59 again!

To start w/ the great: Black Butte is a stunning place, and this condo is ideally located. Mountain, lake & meadow views with wildlife, amazing!
The condo itself is cool. It's a bit 'funky': small kitchen, big sliding doors separate the bedrooms from the dining room...but overall it's a great place if you aren't expecting modern perfection.
Unfortunately, the communication and service from management left a lot to be desired. We never received information to access the place (and yes, I should have noticed that before the day) which lead to an extremely unpleasant delay of well over an hour in the cold with an exhausted family. The welcome center at Black Butte gave me a number to call, and it was a person who had retired from the management company over a year ago. Fortunately, she was able to connect us, and eventually we got the access info. After multiple requests, management did give us a gift card to compensate, which we appreciated.
But the communication issues continued. After our "mid-stay clean" (we had an extended stay), we were told that due to the report of the condition of the place, they would be adding another mid-stay clean not in the contract. We didn't understand that. We didn't clean the place before the cleaners arrived, but it was not in awful shape. We didn't argue because if they wanted us to hire professional cleaners an extra time, fine, less cleaning for us. Our child got sick the night before the extra cleaning was scheduled, so we let them know it would not be a good idea to come that day (this was during the pandemic). They never rescheduled.
After the two weeks they have in the contract to return our deposit in full or let us know in writing why they weren't doing so, we had heard nothing. We asked. Only then were we told that they would be keeping over $115 to pay for the extra cleaning that never happened! They wouldn't call me to discuss, only emailed insufficient explanations. Poor communication

This is one of the best condos on the ranch. With the amazing views from the floor to celling windows in two rooms. To the great fireplace with provided firewood. The condo was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. What a great place to go relax in the winter.

Condo is located on the lake with breathtaking views of the Three Sisters. It was clean and well furnished; very vintage ‘70’s with few updates. There was a problem with heating or lack of heating in the master bedroom. The other bedroom was too hot and the master freezing. When maintenance came out they just said to check the vents. Disappointing for what the amount we spent. But overall a nice vacation.

We were absolutely thrilled with our location at #59. The view from the master bedroom and dining areas just can’t be beat—floor to ceiling views across the pond to grazing horses and mountains. Absolutely perfect. We enjoyed our sunrise coffees while watching the local elk heard move past the tennis courts before heading off into the trees :) We loved being so close the the bike path, and we would have loved being so close to the pool if it were open/summertime. While the condo wasn’t flashy with recent updates like some of the neighboring units, it was cute and has mid-century flair. Everything was clean and very comfortable and is stocked with most necessities you’d need for your stay. I would recommend for a couple or small family (w/kids), rather than 4 adults. The water heater worked great but was very small—my husband and I had to stagger showers in the morning or we’d run cold (4adults wouldn’t be able to get ready for the day). Other than that we loved the unit! We would love to come back!
