Located in Surfside Beach, this charming house for £192 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Don't stay in a high rise when you can stay in this spacious Beach cottage style home with all the comforts of a home away from home. Relax in this quiet, close knit village with low mileage streets and friendly neighbors. Located in the beautiful 180 acre Oceanside Village (OSV) resort including 24 hour security. There two pools, one heated indoor (right around the corner) and one outdoor (three blocks away) both of which include kiddie pools. For the sports enthusiast there are tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts and also a softball field. For the little beach goers, there is a fenced-in playground just minutes from the front door. There are five beautifully stocked fishing ponds with plenty of ducks to feed. The beach is only short stroll away and only three minutes drive by golf cart which are for rent on location. Village provided private entrance to the beach welcomes your personal auto also. While there enjoy the Conch Cafe which offers delicious affordable meals for lunch and dinner with a tremendous view of the ocean. This three bedroom two bath home can house one large family, two small families, or a large golf group. It has a queen size bed in the master with Color Cable TV and a full size bed in the second large bedroom. The third bedroom offers two double beds with Color/cable TV which would be great for children to share while privacy is offered to the parents with the use of the additional rooms. Additionally there is a queen sized sleeper sofa in the living room with Color/cable TV to accommodate the extra extra large families. There are two full baths one with walk-in shower and one with full tub. The kitchen is full sized with all the amenities. The dining table seats eight with three additional seats at the bar. No need to carry those dirty clothes home. Enjoy the convenience of a full sized washer and dryer! If golf is your passion, choose from 100's of tournament courses throughout Myrtle Beach or enjoy some family time at the many miniature golf courses. There is even a pro Par-3 course right out the gate. Also enjoy the shopping at Broadway at the Beach and the many outlet stores or cool off at the water park just north of the village. After a busy day, Enjoy one of over 1700 restaurants located on Murrell's Inlet and throughout Myrtle beach. We want you to enjoy your vacation without too much work but we do ask that you keep our home as clean as you would have expected upon your arrival. We provide sheets and towels and require them to be laundered before departure. You may bring your own if you prefer. No smoking, and pets on a case by case basis. Towels and linens are available and we ask that you replace any paper products you use. We request that all single guests (unless with family) be at least 25 years old. We had a very relaxing few days. If we weren’t at the beach, we were on the great porch. There were a few issues with the floor mats. We also had an issue with trash pickup but that’s because the weekend we arrived, pickup went from twice a week to once a week for the season.

Our Family had a great time in Oceanside Village. The house we stayed in was very nice and had plenty of room. The added golfcart was great too. Will definitely stay there again

Overall, the house was cute and bigger than I thought it would be from the photos. The floors have a lot of soft spots and loose tiles, the little area rugs had some dog feces on it from a prior guest. I had to wash those on our first day so not really sure what kind of system the owners have in place for checking that stuff. I would stay there again but hope for some fixes to the issues I mentioned. We loved the neighborhood, we usually stay on the beach when we visit the area but I didn’t miss that at all… it was a short golf cart ride away. The house had everything you could need… coffee pot and kcup machine, beach gear and toys, the air conditioning kept up great as it was in the 90’s all week.

We had a great time staying at Gordon and Mary’s place. Home is well equipped with everything you may need. Very quiet little community - great for families! Glad we were able to rent a golf cart to get to and from the beach as well as to and from the pool. The house needs a bit of updating and many loose tiles in the bedrooms but nothing that would stop me from going back. All in all we had a wonderful time.

Our stay was just fine. We had a tiny issue with parking tags when we checked in but it was resolved the next day. The owners were very attentive and helpful in getting that resolved. The home was clean but had a tiny lingering smell of cigarette smoke. There were plenty of dishes and kitchen appliances as well. The linens were nice and comfy.

The House had everything we needed. The beds were comfy . Had a nice comfy home feel . We all had a great time . Only cons are ... The rugs needed washed the bedroom ones had dry dog poop from previous people and the bathroom rugs were so dirty we didn't even want to step on them. I washed them for the next family . We would stay again for sure !

Well decorated and comfortable cottage with a great porch. The cottage had everything we needed in the kitchen and the towels and bed linens. Having on site laundry was a plus. Mary was quick to respond with any questions that we had.

This was a hidden gem of a home for our family to enjoy for a long weekend! We were looking for an affordable and homey option that was both child-friendly and pet-friendly and we found exactly what we were looking for with this home and the owners. It’s not often that you find a kitchen equipped with kid friendly dishes, cups, and utensils, basic spices and cooking spray, and even storage bags and cleaning supplies. I felt welcomed and at home from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. Prior to our stay, the owners communicated clearly and openly with us about floor repairs that were needed so these issues didn’t catch us by surprise when we arrived and wouldn’t deter us from renting again. One downside was the necessary laundering of sheets and towels prior to leaving. In the future I would opt to use my own sheets (if I had the right size) or even pay a cleaning fee if that were and option in order to avoid running three loads of laundry on check-out morning while also trying to clean and pack with kids. But, it honestly wasn’t too bad. I would definitely rent this home again and hope to do so again for a longer stay in the future. Thank you for sharing your home with my family. We enjoyed our quick trip to the beach!

Pretty good for the most part. Bad floors in kitchen that made it uneasy to be in kitchen, high chair broken, burnt food in bottom of oven, sandy floors, tvs/DVD players didn't work. But did the most important job and housed us with beds for the week

The house is very well located, near the beach and the swimming pool. Everything is walkable, although hiring a golf cart is a must. The house is very well equipped, but needs major renovations. The hosts are very accommodating. We had a very good time.

We had a great time on our vacation. House had everything we needed. Rental of a golf cart is necessary unless you want to walk in the heat (limited car parking at beach and outdoor pool is further away than what it appeared on the map). Home needs a few updates, and the back bathroom shower is more for shorter folks :)

The home was very well stocked with kitchen items and linens/towels. The sofa bed was perfect for the children. The home was clean and we loved sitting and eating at the table on the porch. It is a little walk to the beach, but it was super easy to rent a golf cart and use it to go back and forth. We enjoyed our stay.

The property was very nice! Quaint, perfect size for a medium family or a few friends to stay! I wish there was a hired cleaning service because the cleanliness of the place relies on those who stayed before you. The house does need a few minor repairs, but nothing that would ruin your vacation. It’s safe for all ages. It’s close to the beach. And there’s lots of things to do and see close by! Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

The house is about 15 minute walk from the beach and not even a 5 minute walk from the indoor pool/community center. The central air was very nice as it was very hot during our vacation. The owners are super nice and were helpful; they answered my questions in a timely fashion. The bed in the yellow room, I believe to be a full not a queen; our sheet was a little big for it and the bed was a little smaller than our queen at home. The outlet in the big bathroom did not work so it was a little bit of an inconvenience. Overall it was a nice place to stay and we enjoyed ourselves.

This was our first time in South Carolina. The house we stayed at was a a cute place. Decoration was very pretty and beach themed. The community of the house was friendly and quite. The beach is very close to the house. A five minute walk. The couple owning the house are pleasant people to talk to and are willing to answer any questions you have.

My family, extended family, and our 2 pups stayed here for a week and it was absolutely wonderful! The house is so much bigger than the pictures are able to show. Each room is decorated so uniquely. You can truly see how much effort and character has been put into the home.

Great Vacation!

My family and I truly enjoyed this house and the community for our vacation. The owners were always quick to respond to questions and the amenities and location were fantastic. Renting a golf cart was definitely a must for us and made the trips back and forth to the beach much easier. We would stay here again in the future.
