About this house rental
Located in Crystal River, this lovely house for £413 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. This spacious 5 bedroom, 2 bath house sleeps 12 (no bunkbeds, foldouts, futons or blow ups), has 2 full kitchens and a large screened porch and heated pool. Located on a double lot at the end of a canal, this property features a 20’ floating dock with 16' addition kayak launch/dock for 36' total with boat parking on both sides, (boat lift for owners use only). There is also a fish cleaning station, a beautiful deck with a view down the whole canal, and a large fenced yard. Boaters, please do mot worry about the bridge - clearance is 15-20' so you'll be just fine : ) Completely remodeled and furnished, this house has 2 fully stocked kitchens plus an 80lb ice-maker in the garage and a 3rd fridge for beverages poolside! The main kitchen opens onto a huge living room with fireplace and a 70 inch TV. A large island and open plan means that the cook never gets left out of the fun. The second kitchen is located at the back of the house, near the porch and pool. Perfect for preparing side dishes when grilling out or for late night snacks poolside. Speaking of poolside…. Newly installed electric heat pump keeps pool temp in the 80's provided that outside air temperature is 55 or above. Our screened porch is awesome! Huge (17’ x 43’) carpeted area right beside the pool has plenty of seating, full size pool table, electronic dart board, shuffleboard and a 80” TV. There is also a 40" TV that can be turned into pool area to watch while you swim. 3rd refrigerator for poolside beverages. Large lighted grill can handle enough food for large groups. Porch has vinyl panels that can be closed to keep out wind or rain if needed. We’re sure you will be spending a lot of time out here! For fresh air and sunshine lovers, we have 6 kayaks and 6 bicycles. House is just a short walk to the Archeological Park. Fish off our seawall or just sit and watch for manatees, otters, alligators and even dolphins! Bad weather keeping you in the house? In addition to shuffle board & the pool table on porch, we also have plenty of books, games and puzzles. There is a poker table in the 2nd kitchen that is also a bumper pool table. We also have a ping pong table in the garage. With WiFi and 9 TV’s there should be enough to keep all entertained! We know that while you like the people you are vacationing with, you might want a little private space sometimes. Hall door closes to split the house if you want. Perfect for corporate retreats, blended families, family reunions or amicable ex’s. Banish teenager to the back; get a little time away from the in-laws; Early-birds on one end and Night-owls on the other. This house will work for everyone! If you are staying with us during Hurricane Season (May-Nov) please purchase Travel Insurance. We are in Flood Zone A and will be first on the list for Mandatory Evacuation. You will HAVE TO LEAVE and the insurance will cover the missed days of your stay. Take advantage of our Extra Day To Play Special! If no new guests are checking in, we can change your Check-out time from 10 AM to 6 PM for just $175. Get in another fishing trip; sleep in & do lunch; or go get another peek at the manatees! We can also do it in reverse - Check-in at 11 AM instead of 4 PM. Please ask about this option when booking as we have to Block appropriately to accommodate you. This house is very impressive. There is something for everyone. Kids weren’t bored and even got the teenager to play darts and pool with us. Great location and neighborhood for long dog walks. Great communication with the owners. Tasty restaurants near by and you have to stop at Twistee Treats. This was one of the best houses we have stayed at!!!

My grandkids ages span from 5 to 22! My great granddaughter is 4. The property had something for everyone. Very clean with all the amenities, and plenty roomy for all of us. Hope to return soon.

We had no complaints about the house. There were tons of things to do. Boat parking and access were great. Only complaint was the AC wasn't working in the main part of the house during our stay. The owners did a really good job trying to remedy the situation but it was a bit warm at night. Overall we would stay again!

Fantastic family vacation with our 3 grown children and their families. We loved being able to bring our boat around from the ramp and have it parked in the "back yard" for quick cruising and fishing. Loved the outdoor seating (bugs stay home, but we are in Florida!), loved the pool and the bicycles. Two of my grandsons even did a little kayaking. There was something for everyone whether you wanted relaxation or a mean game of pool or Uno! Will definitely be back since working with James and Worthy was a breeze! Awesome experience.

We were looking for a vacation home big enough for our two families to get away for our scalloping week vacation, and this home couldn't have been a more perfect fit for us. The dock fit both of our boats, the rooms and bathrooms were clean and had everything we needed. We stayed in one day and with the kayaks, paddle boards, pool, bikes, pool table and fishing, no one was bored. And the guys were sold when they saw the ice machine. Thank you for the great stay and quick response when needed. We will be back next year!

We can’t say enough about how well our stay was at this home and location.
The house was clean, spacious, and perfectly set up for two families (four adults total, four kids, with plenty of extra space for more if needed) we were constantly entertained either on the River, in the backyard, or inside by the pool/in the screened in area. All amenities, toys, towels, games, bikes, etc made our stay that much easier! With the ease of booking/arriving/departing by the hosts, we will definitely be booking in the future. Thanks so much for sharing your home with us, our family spring break couldn’t have gone any better.

If you’re looking for luxury this may not be it. If you want clean, comfortable, with most everything you could need, this may be it. Has lots of room for a group. We were very thankful for the bikes, enjoyed riding in the neighborhood and local State parks Felt very safe in the area. Pool sticks not good ( take your own) pool area could use some maintenance but pool was warm and wet. Overall it was a good experience.

We had the best time in Crystal River! This house had everything we could even imagine to make a long weekend fun and memorable! The weather was pretty chilly while we were there but the pool was still plenty warm for the kids to swim! The house had so much to do that we were never bored! Communication with the owners was simple! We have rented from VRBO multiple times a year for many years, and this is one of the best equipped homes we have ever stayed in! The location is great! We loved this home!

Let's face it, if you're looking for a place to stay in Crystal River there aren't any 5 star luxury accommodations. But that's not why one comes here. If you're looking at this property you are seeking something for multiple guests, and probably your event will include scalloping or fishing. Then don't let this house go by. I've stayed in over 30 properties and never have I seen one where the owners thought og EVERYTHING! They had me at the ice machine before I even walked into the house. The property itself is older, but clean and an awesome location. The owners were great to work with a very responsive to an air condition problem. We made great memories in the game room every night. Will return again!

I don't think I can say enough about this listing. Having rented many homes in different locations throughout Florida I can honestly say this was one of the best most accommodating family homes I've ever stayed in. You've got your swimming pool, billiards,ping-pong, poker table,chess,Foosball, numerous large tvs, wet bar, plenty of out door and indoor gathering areas, large floating dock that accommodated our 37' triple outboard boat with room to spare and 2 large driveways providing plenty of room for our boat trailer and vehicles. After a long day scalloping you could come into a great gathering place with something to do for all ages. There is so much more i feel I'm not mentioning only because I this review could draw out for pages. I would easily give this a 10/10 and have already made reservations for a return visit.

This property is okay, but so many things in my opinion went wrong. Upon arriving there were palmetto bugs on that back porch and in garage which gave me bad vibes b4 we had even settled in. Then we were not told the microwave in the main kitchen was broken so it was inconvenient to have to run to the back to warm something up.
The house is very very old and the pool shows this as well. It is breaking away from the fondation. The air condition had a hard time keeping the house cool, maybe because the filter back return by the front entry was so dirty, who knows about the filter but you could tell that air conditioner was working hard. Walking into the home seeing a very dirty filter back return isnt something you should see especially after you just paid top dollar for the home. Most tvs are old, owner was nice enough to come and show us how to get them working but then we lost wifi. Then we went to use the bikes but most tires were low and a chain was off on one
of them. Maybe there so busy renting this place out that the professional cleaning and maintenance is being over looked. Also need new towels, we used our own, the ones available were old and very rough my husband said they felt like he was drying with sandpaper. Then the flies were horrible. We did not leave the doors open, we were not sure how these flies got in but they were all over the kitchen, all over the food, we has to cover everything up, they got in our coffee, water bottles, your plate, it was terrible, we killed so many, need a new coffee pot like a kurig. Just was very disappointed. Our whole group was not able to come so it was just us 5 and 2 nights there were 7 of us. But one bed was broken so I guess we were lucky all didn't show up. Would not rent again. I expected alot more considering what we paid.

Fantabulous and Fun
House had everything you could want or need for FL vaca fun.
Renters also kindly reached out to let us know the house was cleaned up early, so we were able to check in before expected.
Everyone loved this house not only had six kayaks, but it also had six bicycles, and from the house you could ride within the state park area. Perfect for our group of adventurous kiddos, and the adults enjoyed as well.

Great family activities for all ages and interests
This was our third time at this property and we love it! Lots to do on-site from swimming pool to pool table in large porch game room, pull up boat to private dock, kayaks on backwater waterways, fire-pit, bicycles. Lots to see- Homosassa State Park wildlife, manatees in fresh water springs, Boating about Kings Bay and Shell Island to Gulf. Wealthy is a wonderful responsive hostess and the property was clean and ready to go. Look forward to another visit next year!

The property was very well supplied with everything you might need for a great time together with family. The pool, pool table, ping pong table, kayaks, badminton, corn hole game. The kitchens were also well-stocked. Would love to return there next year.

Perfect for our relaxing family trip
This home has everything we needed. The only items I brought for the kitchen was our rice cooker and outside our smoker and hammocks. Lots of space. Kayaks were used daily. Practically lived in the Florida Room.

Perfect location
We loved the house. I’m not going to lie, it’s a little dated and a tiny bit worn, but overall it was wonderful headquarters for our two-week family reunion. The huge kitchen/living room area was our nightly gathering for our big group of couples. The bikes and kayaks were wonderful for exploring all the walking trails, canals and the Archeological Park just down the road. It was also just a quick drive to see the manatees in Kings Bay. It was also a great jumping off point for day trips to Tampa and Orlando. We had a couple minor issues on the first day and the owners fixed the issues quickly without interrupting our stay. Overall it was a great house in a perfect location.
