About this house rental
Situated in Surf City, this attractive house for £592 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Pelican Landing - Over 2200 Sq/Ft We just doubled the square footage upstairs!. The House has roomy decks that span the front of both levels of this vacation spot, with a picnic table in place for alfresco dining at sunrise and sunset on the ocean front deck, and any time in between. A two-leveled boardwalk leading to the beach has a built-in bench for relaxing a little closer to the sandy strand, and there’s an outdoor shower for rinsing that sand off your tootsies. Inside Pelican Landing, living quarters and two bedrooms a King and Queen, occupy the first level, with three oceanfront King bedrooms and a kids bunk room on the top level. Living/dining area: The living area offers two new sofas and two arm Rattan chairs. The sofas are blue with white coral print and matches the arm chairs. Cuddle up with matching pillows tossed on each sofa and enjoy the amazing view, or have a movie night with the wall mounted flat screen TV. Tile floors and tan walls lead to the sliding glass door to the deck add to the relaxed feel of this room. Starfish-themed lamps and seascape prints complete the homey décor. The oceanfront deck offers two picnic tables perfect for morning coffee or evening dolphin watching. Dining Area: From the weathered wood top dining room table, you’ll always have an ocean view, either from the triple window on the front of the house or the double window on the side. Eight white chairs with white curved spindle backs offer plenty of seating under a elegant shell chandelier. Should you need more, there are five white bar stools at the generously proportioned bar between the dining area and kitchen. Kitchen: This U-shaped kitchen has all the cabinet and counter space you could possibly need for preparing anything from a yummy shrimp boil to a complex five-course gourmet dinner. New stainless steel appliances, ocean blue walls, black counter-tops and weathered white cabinets make the kitchen feel like a true beach vacation - no nautical detail has been over looked. Open the exterior door between the dining area and kitchen, by the end of bar, and step out onto a walkway that leads to both the front deck and the rear parking area, making for convenient trips to the car for provisions. Bedroom One (first level): Has a king-sized bed. The adjoining bath, which also opens onto the hall. There is a linen closet with four shelves to provide plenty of space for all those beach towels. Bedroom Two (first level): A relaxing queen-sized bed here, set before a pair of windows that let the Topsail Island sun shine in. There’s a shell-filled lamp on the night table, and new tile flooring. Bedroom 3, 4 and 5 (top level): Step through the sliding glass doors of this oceanfront room onto a deck that spans the upper level and offers awesome views of Topsail Island’s sand and sea. Inside, ALL (6) bedrooms have 55" SHDTVs with Google Cast capability as well as live streaming TV Bedroom 6 has a double and twin bunk bed for the kids. Pelican’s Landing is the perfect beach house for the perfect vacation! John is a wonderful host! A lot of thought went into making the house feel like home. We wanted for nothing in the kitchen as it is very well stocked to include Cuisinart small appliances. There was plenty of room for our family of 9. The beds are so comfortable. Each morning we would all comment to one another how comfy the beds were and how well we slept. We enjoyed many hours on the deck! The beach is steps away! We didn’t want to leave! Thank you, John, for the perfect vacation!

This house is amazing! You are literally steps to the beach. We had plenty of room as we are eleven in total. Eight adults and three kids under the age of two. We will definitely be back!!!

Really can’t say anything but good things about this Beach house. We have stayed in many places on Topsail Island/Surf City and this house is in our top 10 out of all of the places we have stayed. Super host for sure. Very prompt with responses and friendly. Definitely will stay again if available. Thank you for a wonderful family vacation!!!

We had a wonderful stay! Location right on the beach was perfect. House is a mile or so to shops and restaurants. Our teenagers walked to them almost everyday. We visited Shaka Taco several times; tacos were amazing!
Online pictures of the house are accurate. We had plenty of space for our family of 7 plus our dog. Kitchen was well stocked, lots of pots, pans, appliances, dishes, etc.
We loved sitting on upper deck to enjoy the view and some sunshine.
We had no issues during our stay. John was great with communication. Highly recommend! We will definitely return.

Fantastic property in a fantastic location! We really enjoyed our time. It was very clean and had everything we needed for the week. We loved walking from the deck on to the beach and hearing the sound of the waves. Very close to Surf City restaurants and shops. John was nice to work with and communication was great. Highly recommend for a family get away. We will definitely come back.

The house was the perfect spot for a relaxing week at the beach. The kitchen was very well stocked with all the utensils and cookware we needed. We had plenty of space for 6 adults to gather together but at the same time each have privacy. Our host was easy to contact and responded quickly when needed.

Lovely Beach House. Very comfortable for 5 couples. Well stocked with dishes and pots and pans. The 2 coffee pots were a plus for our group. The ocean is literally steps away. The lower deck has plenty of chairs and 2 picnic tables as well as the outdoor shower on the stairs leading to the Beach. Our dog really enjoyed his stay. Beds were very comfortable.

I have stayed at a number of oceanfront houses, and this house is truly the least distance from the back door to the water that I have ever experienced. The covered deck with two picnic tables was in use all day every day.

Property is clean and modern. With 12 of us we wanted to do our own meal prep and the kitchen is well furnished with cookware, utensils, plates and glassware. Large dining room table was great for family meals and conversation. Two decks facing the ocean allowed for great views during the day and nighttime. Walking down the stairs onto a fantastic beach going miles in both directions. Easy access to stores and restaurants also. A great place to stay!

Perfect beach location
This is the perfect house for a family beach vacation. 6 large comfortable bedrooms, 3 full bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, plenty of seating for larger family groups, steps away from the beach. This was our second time renting this property and we will rent again. The owner is easy to contact and very accommodating. You will not be disappointed!

The house was great,fully equipped with everything we needed.Very comfortable for 12.Great views from both floors. Will rent it again for a family gathering. John was wonderful and only a phone call away if we needed anything. Recommend renting you won’t be disappointed..

Perfect Home for R&R
The house was quiet, clean and well stocked. The house is in a quiet location right on the ocean with fantastic views. The 1 mile walk to the pier was terrific. Close to town, but far enough to enjoy peace and quiet. House had everything you would need for cooking, eating and relaxing. Everything was easy! John was super responsive. Will definitely stay here again.

Great Winter Getaway!
This house has easy access to the beach and beautiful 180 degree oceanfront views. The living area furnishings are new and very comfortable. The beds and pillows feel luxurious! The kitchen is equipped with absolutely everything you need for a long stay and the equipment is very good quality as is all the tableware and glassware. The owner is responsive and it was a pleasure to interact with him through the rental and check-in process. We highly recommend this property and will be making reservations here in the future.

Beds were the most comfortable beds we have ever stayed in at the beach! Some one the TVs upstairs were not working but who cares too much when you are at the beach :) GREAT view!!

Wonderful beach house and awesome owner!

The owner is very accessible. The location is great. The cleaners leave a bit to be desired. Supposedly the house is vivid clean- it definitely was not. There was mold in all showers and on all shower heads. Corn chips and other small trash was on the floor under the beds. The outdoor electric outlet is inop due to rust and water damage, GFI will not reset. Water pressure in jack and Jill bathroom is very low.
Other than these small annoyances Pelicans Landing is a great place to revisit.

Fabulous family get away!
My family and I had an amazing stay. Upon arrival we had some trouble getting into the property, but the owner picked up the phone immediately and helped us get in. The home was very clean and absolutely beautiful! We were a group of 13 people and we felt that we had plenty of room to spread out in the home. The location of the home is also wonderful, with amazing views from the decks. We will absolutely be back!
