The property was clean, instructions easy and accurate There were 2 golf cats locked up on the property. I don’t recall having them mentioned in the proposal since I would have gladly rented one of them as the accessible beach is a bit away. We had a great stay and would rent it again

Very comfortable for everyone, quiet neighborhood!

To pay for a nice play to stay I expect it to be clean !!! the view of the ocean is not what the pictures show, right in front of the house is a water treatment plant. I definitely do not want that to be the view of a property. on the way up to the main door it is so dirty that I wanted to pressure wash it myself. Dirty at the main door as well. Lots of dry wall repairs by the windows that are facing the main big balcony and all those windows were too dirty that you cant really enjoy any part of the ocean view. And if you step outside to that balcony the water treatment plan in in front of you. I just wish the would have really show the property the way it really looks and let the client make the decision to pay for the stay or keep looking. There is only 1 TV in living room and 1 TV in a secondary bedroom. and there is a note on the fridge that tells you to put all sheets and towels in the washer and not the blankets or bed spreads??? I was terrified to think that those don't get washed.

The property was so amazing, beautiful gulf views. Plentiful beach access, a great place to find amazing seashells. The home had all needed amenities and internet access when needed. Host was always responsive when you needed her and extremely helpful. Definitely would recommend.

Home was clean and nicely laid out. Comfortable for the most part. The master bed creaked alot with any movement turning over, not enough blankets, blinds are broken in the upstairs left bedroom, window unit in the living room was very loud.. and had Trouble cooling during the day, upper right bedroom window unit the same.. top rack of dishwasher sagged on the left side… but no problem holding dishes. Excellent washer and dryer. overall we had an enjoyable stay.

My family and I had an awesome Time. We were able to host Prom send off for our kids! We were in walking distance from the beach! I do recommend stopping at your local store before arriving! We came prepared! The wifi was in and out! But who cares we were able to mirror our phones to the TV! Because of this we were all able to have a great family bonding time. Jennifer the Host was awesome she was always available when I contacted her!

I don’t understand reviews with 5 stars. Nowhere close to a 5! The website needs to update the pictures of the property. There were several areas where the pictures on the website did not accurately reflect the house as it existed during our stay. For example, the house does not sit by itself. The house seemed very tired and not looked after well. When we first pulled into the driveway and saw 2 rusted and broken down portable grills. No way would I cook on them. Once inside the window air conditioner (you don’t see it on the website) in the living room was running full blast and was very cold. Closet doors were broken and did not shut well. Many of the shades in the house are either broken or badly warped. The house did not seem very clean. The coffee post was dirty and the front of the dishwasher was disgusting! There is water damage on the wall in the kitchen that you can tell has been there fore some time. It was nasty looking. You could tell there was slight water damage on same wall in living room. The bathroom sink faucets had a lot of corrosion, lime build up on them (you don’t see that on the website). The electrical outlets in the bathrooms did not work. Not great when that is there you shave, blow dry hair, etc. We contacted Sandi and were told where the breaker box was, however, there were no tripped circuits. We then contacted Sandi again and we told “oh, those good old GFIs!” That was it. No effort was made to see that the electrical outlets would work during our stay. We had to go buy an extension cord to reach from the bedroom to the bathroom which meant only one person at a time could get ready. I’m not sure whatever constitutes a Premier Host but based on our experience, we did not receive a “great travel experience.” We were scheduled to stay six days, five nights. We cut of trip short, staying only two nights. This house has potential but it needs some care and attention. Just something to think about for anyone looking at a place to stay in Galveston.

We thoroughly enjoyed our Friday- Monday stay in October. We had zero issues with mosquito, there is a nice lite view of the ocean from the deck, short walk to a great beachcombing beach on the San Luis pass side, we drove down to the coast side beach to wade and boogie board. Little parking lot down there. The house was perfect. Exactly what we were looking for. Thank you so much for being an amazing host!

We were very disappointed with this stay, everytime we rent out from vrbo, it’s usually a great experience. But this beachhouse was not clean as promised. The dishes were dirty before using them. The tv wouldn’t work. The wifi was slow and wouldn’t connect to the tv at all. The pillows had dead flies or mosquitos on them. We just didn’t feel comfortable staying in that house hopefully next time, the property owner makes sure to have everything cleaned up before the next guests.

The house is nicely kept. We had a great time. It was my 50th birthday and I’m happy we chose to do it here. The only downside was the EXTREME mosquitoes We were warned about the mosquitoes prior ti arriving so we expected it….BUT MY GOD THE ENTRYWAY IS A NEST FOR MOSQUITOS! I went to Walmart and got the Cutter’s backyard spray fogger and sprayed the entryway outside and we were good throughout our stay. Would stay again and recommend friends and family!

It was amazing. Close to Galveston without all the tourists, but close enough to drive in for the day or afternoon.

Our stay was just as we had hoped it would be. The proximity to the beach activities as well as a short drive to all the tourist attractions made this spot an ideal location for my family to spend a few days away.

Felt like home. Had a great time with family.

Great time fishing around Freeport and Deep Sea Charter. The house was awesome and had plenty of room for us to enjoy.

My husband and I (and my old doggy) had a great time at this location! The house was very clean, spacious and comfortable. We loved both sides of the beach. You cannot swim in the area where the bridge is (left side) but you can go fishing and contemplate beautiful sunsets. From the other hand, you can swim the other side of the beach (right side) and pick up some beautiful sea shells. Something we were really thankful for was the fact that there were ZERO bugs and mosquitos! May seems to be the best time to come this place 😁 Last but not least, the communication with Jennifer was great, she’s very professional and understandable! We will definitely rebook in future.

We decided to make a weekend at the beach and decided to look for something away from the crowds with great beach access. This home was amazing. We enjoyed a spacious home with an easy walk to the beach. This is a great place for family get away.

This is an amazing property and the host is also amazing. Very responsive. This is perfect for a family, group get away or just because. The short drive to Surfside is a great adventure most definitely will be a return guest!
