***As of January 2021, renters are not allowed to use Dollar Point Association Recreational Facilities*** **DOGS CONSIDERED** Bring your extended family and enjoy this roomy 6 bedroom home in Dollar Point. This home is an ideal place for a happy vacation! Featuring two living areas and two sides of the home, this house is well situated for two families that can each have their own space. Bring your dog so the whole family can enjoy the spacious fenced-in backyard! After entering through the sizable two car garage or front door, you will find a living area, dining area and kitchen in the front part of the home. Off the breakfast nook in the kitchen is a king bedroom with a full bath and laundry in the hall. Towards the back of the home there is a second living area and dining area combined with a working fireplace. Stairs lead up to the west wing bedrooms that features a full bath and two bedrooms; one with two bunk beds and another with a queen. The east upstairs wing has a separate stairwell at the front of the house. This area has a hallway bath and three bedrooms; one with two twins, another with a queen, and the master King bedroom and bath. This home is close to skiing, downtown Tahoe City and there is nearby fun for everyone to enjoy. Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 - Downstairs, King Bed Bedroom 2 - Upstairs, Queen Bed Bedroom 3 - Upstairs, 2 Twin Bunk Beds Bedroom 4 - Upstairs, 2 Twin Beds Bedroom 5 - Upstairs, Queen Bed Bedroom 6 - Upstairs Master, King Bed Must be at least 25 years old to rent. Prior approval is required to bring more than one dog to any dog-friendly property. All dogs must be at least one year old and must not be left unattended at the property unless crate trained. No pets other than dogs are allowed at any of our pet-friendly properties (no cats, birds, ferrets, etc.). *PLEASE NOTE: If you are bringing a dog to our dog friendly property there is an additional fee of $100+tax. Our properties do not have air conditioning. Please note that this property has a noise devise that monitors excessively loud noises per county compliance. BBQs are not provided during winter months (November to Memorial Day) CHAINS OR SNOW TIRES ARE OFTEN REQUIRED IN WINTER. PLEASE BE SURE TO READ OUR WINTER DISCLOSURE, PROVIDED WITH A RENTAL CONTRACT ONCE A RESERVATION IS MADE. THE COUNTY OF PLACER IMPLEMENTED A NEW SHORT TERM RENTAL ORDINANCE WHICH IS VERY IMPORTANT FOR GUESTS TO ABIDE BY. FINES RANGE FROM $1,500- 5,000 AND CAN BE ISSUED TO GUESTS WHO ARE NOT IN COMPLIANCE. A FULL LIST OF RULES IS ATTACHED AS A PHOTO IN THIS LISTING. SOME HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE: •QUIET HOURS ARE FROM 9PM TO 8AM. NO NOISE SHALL BE HEARD ACROSS PROPERTY LINES. NO OUTDOOR SPEAKERS OR AMPLIFIED SOUND ARE TO BE USED AT ANY TIME. •DOGS MUST BE LEASHED AT ALL TIMES WHEN OUTSIDE OF A PROPERTY AND ALL PET WASTE NEEDS TO BE PICKED UP. •PARKING IS LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING NUMBER OF SPACES: 4 - STREET PARKING IS PROHIBITED YEAR-ROUND. We really enjoyed the ease with the check in process and Katie gave us great customer service.
The house was very comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed to make our vacation a great one.
The kitchen was very well stocked with everything from any size pan you could need to spices, dish towels, and even various can and bottle openers. It seems that they took extra care to make sure the house was equipped with almost anything that you could need to make your stay a comfortable one.
Being a pet friendly house was a great plus for us.
The location was perfect and it was a great central location to various outdoor activities.
Our family trip was was made better because of the place we stayed.

El lugar esta grande y espacioso!pero la limpieza demasiado q decir,telarañas en los candelabros,los gabinetes de la cocina llenos de comida tirada,los baños llenos de mosquitos muertos,el asador lleno de metal callendo ala comida y las paredes demasiado sucias podrían tomar más atención en la limpieza.lo único q si es espaciosa y bonita solo poor cleaning.

My parents, nephews, my husband & I all went on this 4 day trip together. The kids were sooo excited & were so amazed at the size of this house & loved they could play in the snow in the backyard as much as they wanted. Grocery stores & little shops were all nearby which was great too. I would definitely recommend staying here & am hopeful we will be able to take this trip again next year.

the stay was great, we made the parking work. I told everyone to bring there small vehicles. other than the lack of parking the house was stocked well and very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this rental.

Dollar point lodge was a good choice for our group of twelve. But why have a message board if no one looks at it!?!? We requested early check in months before. We did not get in early and were told it was becauseOf cleaning. When we did get in there were glasses out that had been used and dirt piles in corners of kitchen. There had been no one there the night before so why not early check in? And why wasn’t it cleaned!? We paid loads of money for 2 nights and would recommend the house for a large group but maybe not recommend the company that manages it! On a positive note on Saturday morning when the coffee maker didn’t work I called and they brought a working one right over. Silver lining?

I have nothing but kind words to share regarding my family’s experience with Hauserman group. The staff were friendly and helpful as I tried to navigate through the rental process, and very responsive to resolve a few minor maintenance and housekeeping issues that we experienced upon our arrival.

Property worked great for our 2 sons and families. However was a little disappointed on the homeowners upkeep of the house. Carpets bottom bedroom and stairs were in much need of cleaning. A few minor pick me ups (painting) would make this a much more desirable place. Rental agency was great to work with Great location

Great space for two families - and a wonderful yard!
We enjoyed our stay at the Dollar Lodge! While the home is in need of some deep cleaning and updating, the bones were great, and having 6 bedrooms and 4 baths gave our two families plenty of room to comfortably spread out! The yard was fantastic - room to sit in the sun, play cornhole and other games - very nice!

This 6-bedroom home was perfect for our family gathering of 8 adults and 5 children. We especially loved the large, fenced backyard. The kitchen is a little tight, but workable for 2 cooks at one time. Dollar Point is a great location for accessing Tahoe's many summer activities.

We spent quite a bit of the winter in this home. The pictures don't do it justice. It is roomy and comfortable. There are plenty of places to hide away and plenty of room to congregate and spend time together. The bedrooms are well organized and the materials and facilities are well cared for. It feels like a lived in home, but one that has been managed with care. The location is great and from it is an easy walk to the lake and to trails across the 89. I look forward to staying in this home again.

All in all, we had a great stay. I appreciated the timely communication via e-mail. Typically we would stay in So. LT, but this time, I am glad we were away from the hustle and bustle. It was calm, the weather could not have been better, and as a frontline essential worker; was exactly what I was hoping for. Many thanks for all tour efforts! Please, note: the cleaning crew showed up early, and starting their cleaning but I think they realized it and left without saying anything. We felt a bit rushed since our check out time was at 11am. No biggie, but next time those types of things should be crystal clear. Thanks again!

We stayed at the Dollar Point Lodge, Observation Dr., for 4 nights, celebrating a birthday. Our family of 14 had plenty of room with the 5 bedrooms and three baths. The kitchen is well equipped for any cooking or BBQ' that you may want to do and the house was clean and neat. We liked the fact that the back yard was fenced for our family dog and the smaller children. The access to the pool and wonderful beach are a real plus with a group and kids.

Excellent layout , spacious
What a beautiful house - spacious and modern, well equipped, clean, conveniently located. The separate bedroom areas, the two living rooms, two large screen tvs, make this perfect for family groups with varying ages and interests or for groups of friends. Plenty of privacy for each of our three families. We did have a toddler with us, so the sunken living room and steps created some challenges, but for children a bit older, just perfect. The pool in the development was delightful, too. We'd stay there again.

Renting through Hauserman was an absolute pleasure. The team was very helpful and responsive to my questions, and the house was extremely well-equipped for a big group.

Perfect for multiple families!
We had 4 couples plus kids and this house was a perfect fit. The living room and family room are a great set up for a grownups and kids area...reading and relaxing in one room and games and fun in the other.
The location is great, as well. A short distance to the community pool, 7-11 is right around the corner and only minutes from Safeway.
We will definitely try to book this home again!
