Evacuation procedures are detailed in the rental agreement, as well as posted inside the house. This is the side of Kauai with the MOST SUN AND BEST WEATHER all year long. Kekaha beach is the LONGEST WHITE SAND BEACH in all of Hawaii. This natural, uncrowded beach stretches for more than 15 miles & offers swimming, surfing, boogie boarding and fishing. It's the best walking beach on the island and leads all the way to the cliffs of the NaPali coast. Just 2 blocks from our driveway is the road leading to WAIMEA CANYON. A large grocery store is less than 3 miles away. Minutes to the harbor to catch a sunset cruise along the famous NaPali coast. Watch the whales from the beach. Custom constructed in 2000, this home is open and airy with SOARING CEILINGS, and is ONLY 200 FEET FROM THE OCEAN. The UPSCALE furnishings are from the collections of Tommy Bahama, Henry Link, and Delano and Seymour's Hawaiian House. There are many original art pieces of Hawaiian influence and island style. You'll find yourself spending most of your time outside on the 36 FOOT OCEAN SIDE LANAI! After a day at the beach, you can rinse off in the outdoor shower. Within the large, private yard, are multitudes of flowering plants, as well as fruit trees such as oranges, papaya, lemon,, mango, and lime. There is nothing like sitting on the Oceanside lanai, having a drink, and reaching for a lime from the tree while enjoying the changing colors of the sky as the sun sets over the ocean. The MASTER SUITE IS OCEAN SIDE with an OVER SIZED SHOWER FOR TWO. Two other bedrooms share a bath and a side lanai. The gourmet kitchen is a cook's dream. Enjoy meals at home with dining inside or out on the lanai as the sun sets on another beautiful day. It's just a short 35 minute ride to Poipu with it's upscale shopping and dining options. Truly a luxury home. Everything we needed was already here. From a full functioning kitchen to coolers and ice packs for storing items for our outing. Quiet neighborhood with the beach across the street. Cross breeze in the house made it unnecessary to use the AC. I well be recommending this property to friends and family. Mahalo Chad!

This house was absolutely perfect for our needs. We don’t like to be around the tourist areas and this fit the bill. Less than 5 minute walk across the street for the sunset every night. You could access the beach across the street but we preferred a little further down at the beach park. House was amazing as advertised, will stay again next time on Kauai

This is our second time staying in this house and it was just as fantastic as the first time. It’s a great location on the south side of the island away from the hustle of the other touristy spots. Walking distance to the beach and very close to beautiful Waimea Canyon. The house is very clean providing all amenities. Chad does a great job communicating and is very responsive. Awesome place!

Absolutely wonderful! The is not only beautiful inside and out, it was comfortable for the entire family (6 of us- age range from 70 to 15 months). We explored the island as much as possible and especially loved the quiet of Kekaha. Mahalo!

we loved the house and the surrounding area! it was perfect for our family. the lanai was perfect, we spent most of our time out there reading, eating, relaxing. the thunderous sound of the ocean was wonderful, we actually thought it was thunder at first. the house was stocked with everything we could need for our trip. mahalo for the stay!!

Situated on the sunny west shore, this is a lovely vacation home, well-equipped for a family stay. Easy access to Waimea Canyon and sandy beaches. Only minor issue was twin beds had been pushed together to make king but my young adult sons would have preferred them separate as shown in photos online

The house was spacious for our family of 5 and the kitchen had everything we needed. We spent mornings and evenings on the lanai enjoying the views in comfort. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this house and would love to stay here again.

This house is beautiful! It is clearly well maintained with a fully stocked kitchen. The location was fantastic. A block and a half walk to a sandy beach. We watched the sunset every night. We hope to return!

My wife and I really enjoyed our week long stay at this great place. I really appreciated that the place feels like a home, rather than a rental. The kitchen was super well stocked with everything we could possibly need. The tempur-pedic bed was so comfortable. It just felt like a home away from home. Would love to come back. Would strongly recommend for anyone to stay here.

We loved staying at this house which was spacious, airy, clean, and extremely well equipped for visitors. We had everything we needed to cook meals at home and enjoy adventures/beach trips (chairs, umbrellas, snorkeling gear, towels… etc). Although the nearby beach isn’t known as being a swimming beach we enjoyed sunset and a couple little dips there and loved the very calm, blue waters at salt pond beach just a short drive away. Chad and Scott we’re both great, and when we accidentally/embarrassingly went to the wrong house upon arrival , Keenan very graciously helped us find our way. Wonderful stay!

Spacious and peaceful house
We split our stay in Kauai in half, with our first half here (and second half on north shore). We picked this home in Kekeha simply because of its proximity to Waimea canyon, Polihale and Hanipepe (all of which were very close). But we ended up thoroughly enjoying the property and setting. If you prefer crowding together with other mainlanders during your visit, maybe choose Poipu or Princeville? But we absolutely LOVED our 5 days on the “west side” more immersed with every day locals, including celebrating the 4th of July in the streets and nearby beach in a distinctive Hawaiian fashion.
The house itself was VERY comfortable and spacious for our family of 4, including 20 and 17 yr old sons who were able to have their own rooms with large beds. AC in each room also, which is a rarity in Kauai. Great bathrooms (especially master shower), kitchen and laundry facilities, as well as a few beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, etc.

Amazing home and location
This house is the perfect getaway. Beautiful home with super comfortable beds, an amazing porch and conveniently located near the beach. Chad was gracious and easy to communicate with. My husband and I had the most relaxing time here and loved how tranquil Kekaha is. Would absolutely come back.

It was simply perfect. We loved staying in Kekaha. It was quiet, peaceful, and we felt safe and welcome. The neighbors are lovely people, we also really enjoyed meeting the groundskeeper, Alan. Hale Anuenue was everything we had hoped for and more. It is such a special space, beautifully appointed and immaculate. Hands down, the BEST VRBO we've ever stayed in! From the front porch to the ocean view lanai with island fruit trees and shrubs, and everything in between, this luxury home exceeded our entire family's expectations (mom, dad, two teenagers, mother-in-law, and aunt)! We had plenty of room to spread out, but often choose to gather together on the lanai when we weren't out exploring Kauai. It was a super comfortable home, and we loved staying on this side of the island, as it was not crowded at all. We also enjoyed the locals in the neighborhood. We're so glad we spoiled ourselves by choosing Hale Anuenue!

Hidden Away Gem
This is a beautiful house located in a quiet neighborhood on the South side of the island. Friendly residents surrounding the home (one who gave a bag full of delicious mangos from her tree). Great location next to a 16 mile beach with great boogie boarding. Chad was awesome to work with and very responsive to any questions I/my family had. You won’t be disappointed with this gem. We had a great time!!

Kekaha Beach
We had a lovely stay in this well outfitted home. The neighbours both in front and behind the house were also wonderful, everyone in this little village is so very kind. The property is lovely with palm trees, plumerias bougainvillea and so much more that it is simply wonderful to just sit outside. Chad was also great at being in touch with us throughout the rental process.
There are three king beds, so nice and so comfortable. Mahalo for our wonderful accommodations. Jacqueline

Beautiful, comfortable,stay
My husband and I and our son and his fiancée had a wonderful five night stay here. Beautiful house! The bedrooms are all very nice. The master bedroom is especially nice. And the bathroom is better than a five star hotel! The kitchen has everything and made cooking easy and enjoyable. The living room is very comfortable and the back porch is lovely for meals and relaxing the Weber grill was great. It was so nice to be soooo close to the ocean! Hearing the ocean as we slept was awesome! It was just one short block from a beautiful beach and sunsets there are amazing! Just a great, very clean, comfortable place to stay. Easy access to Hanapepe and Poipu.
