About this house rental
Nestled in Homewood, this attractive house for £519 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. This newer built luxury home is located on the beautiful West Shore of Lake Tahoe, within a few hundred yards of Homewood Ski Resort and a VERY SHORT walk to the beach, bike trail, and West Shore Wedding Venue. We are told our home is the perfect wedding day gather get ready spot. The ultimate ski/bike/hiking retreat. Approximately 1000 more square footage then other vacation rentals in our area. This four bedroom mountain style home has the feel of Tahoe luxury. The Entry level includes an open spacious great room with grand windows that bring the outdoors inside. It has spacious gourmet kitchen with enough room for many cooks and plenty of room for seated spectators. Its dinning room will seat 8-10 people. The spacious living room has a Corner fireplace that has stone from floor to ceiling, and vaulted wood ceilings that gives you the mountain feel that appeal to many. Also located on this level is the main bedroom suite and master bathroom with jacuzzi tub. The lower level offers a SECOND MASTER SUITE with private bath, two additional bedrooms, pool table room that connects to lower deck and a comfortable large entertainment room with 72" flat screen tv with surround sound system Come enjoy or vacation home, many are making it their yearly vacation spot! Amazing. The home is so well appointed with all of the cooking items you need. Cheryl is awesome to work with. We had 5 star fun!!!

We had a blast during our stay. We were a group of three families with little kids. This house is comfortable for groups: large kitchen open to the living area so we could cook and hangout while the kids played.
Pool table and second living room downstairs were great places to hangout. And make sure everyone had some space.
One heads up, there is no streaming on the TV but does have a DVD player. We rented a movie for the kids one night from the Redbox at the local Safeway which worked out great. Side note, this was our groups preference to have the kids watch the TV rather than a computer/tablet.
The house is walking distance to Homewood resort (5 min!). A pleasant surprise is the house is on a dead end street. So, the kids could go outside and play in the snow without worrying about cars.

This place is awesome place for getting together with friends and kids. It's very cozy to enjoy coffee in the morning and couple drinks at night and very roomy for kids to play around with provided toys and games in the house. Host, Cheryl is very reasonable person who could bend the rule a bit to make sure customer satisfaction.

Property nice and as descibed on the listing. Location is ok, not much around other than houses and nearest stores and restaurants are a bit of driving away. The place was tidy but not not clean. There is a big difference between clean and just tidy. How do I know it? We are of culture in which it is customary to take our shoes off while in the house, so 10+ of us looking at each others blackenned socks told us that cleaning is done superficially. There was more evidence for lack of cleaning in the bathrooms,

We organized a family ski trip to the Tahoe area for the first time and are so pleased we found this beautiful property. The description doesn't do it justice. There was plenty of room for our extended family and the kitchen was very well equiped for our home cooked meals. A big plus during our stay was the location. It was a short walk to the South base of Homewood (even in ski boots) so we didn't have to drive other than going to Tahoe City for supplies. A major snow storm hit during our visit but we had no issues getting out becase they clear the access road that serves the South base. Also, having a garage was a major benefit so we didn't have to shovel out or scrape windshields. The host is excellent and provided clear communication ahead of our visit as well as answered questions promptly during our stay. I only wish we had discovered this place years ago. Highly recommend.

Two families with 5 teens! Enough room and then some. HUGE house. Location was prime and Homewood ski is the best kept secret for those seeking less crowds and a relaxed vibe. Kitchen has spices, bring cooking oil and more roasting/bakeware if you plant to cook stuff in the oven. There was a lot of foil/Saran wrap. Thanks for sharing your luxury with us!

The description doesn't do this place justice. The location is amazing if you're skiing at Homewood and the house is huge! It can definitely comfortably fit 10 people and nobody will fill feel on top of one another (unlike other houses where more beds are stuffed into each room). There's an upstairs and downstairs area that people can hang out in.

Overall great home! At the beginning of our stay the WiFi was out do to fires in the area, Cheryl took the time to reach out to the company trying to get us an update. The WiFi came back on the next day. Great trip spent with great friends in a great home!

The perfect cabin for our “mom getaway” for the Tahoe triathlon. Plenty of space, comfy beds, beautiful kitchen.

Minor points, but it would be nice to have larger soap bars in bathroom. Also, dining room light fixtures should be cleaned. The BBQ on the deck didn't get up to temp for cooking - would have been ok for grilling

This is a beautiful, large, clean home and the location can't be beat. You can walk to the south entrance of Homewood in about 2 minutes, and it would be great in the summer as well. There are 4 good sized bedrooms (2 ensuite) and a huge bonus room which was great for the kids. The only very small thing is that there are no plastic plates, cups, etc. for kiddos, so just pack them if you need them. We would definitely stay there again!

The location and home is great. We had an awesome time there. Especially if you have children interested in a Ski School, it's the place to be. It's easy walking distance to the lifts on the South Side of Homewood.

Cheryl was such a great host which made our stay comfortable. There were a multitude of issues that occurred upon our arrival and Cheryl was able to address all of them in a timely manner. Beautiful home, wonderfully decorated (Christmas tree was a surprise and a very festive touch), owner very accessible during a very challenging week (record snowfall during our visit). Would definitely stay there again…and hope for just a bit less snow. ;-)

This home was perfect for our daughter's wedding at the West Shore Cafe, if you are having a wedding there this is the place to stay. The home had everything you could ask for, the floor plan worked perfectly for our family of 7 and our 3 truck loads of wedding supplies. Cheryl was so great to work with before, during and after. The wedding and stay was actually for 2020 but with covid we had to cancel last minute, Cheryl was very accommodating with changing our stay to 2021. Can't wait to stay here again, hopefully this winter! Praying for a lot of snow this year!!!
