Nestled in Capitol Hill, this charming house for £151 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Built in 1900 this cottage retains much of it's original charm. This traditional home has both formal living and dining rooms. Furnished with one queen bed and one full-size bed, it is comfortable for four people. Off-street parking is available. Laundry facilities are in the basement. A separate studio apartment in the basement is not included. (inquire about availablity and rates for this separate studio apt). Located in the Central Area of Seattle, this house is 10 minutes to Seattle's Capitol Hill, Madrona and Madison Park neighborhoods and Downtown Seattle. Public transportation is 1 block away which makes it convenient to all that Seattle has to offer. Nearby amenities include a coffee shop, restaurants, Central Cinema, supermarkets, a pilates/yoga studio. What an amazing house, so unique and beautiful. We flew from California to see my best friends for my birthday. We really enjoyed our stay. Our hosts were wonderful with personal touches all through the house for us. The only complaint is they could use better beds but other than that top-tier stay.

Very happy with our stay. The neighborhood was quiet. Easy to walk to from transit. The home was very comfortable; from beds, decor and kitchen supplies. Cindy and Josée were very helpful in responding to a couple of inquiries. Would definitely come back.

Cindy & Jose's house in the Central District was a wonderful spot to stay if you want to visit the city, but feel like a local when you turn in for the night! Lovely, leafy neighborhood, with a co-op grocery and a nice little coffee shop both within easy walking distance.
Cindy & Jose were easy to communicate with, and took care of a couple of issues that cropped up early in our stay extremely promptly and courteously.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was clean and the beds were so comfortable. The house had everything that we needed plus more. The owners were available for questions and any concerns that popped up. Perfect location. Bus stops and grocery store were within walking distance. No need to rent a car unless you are venturing outside the Seattle area. Can't wait to come back again! Thanks again Cindy and Jose for an amazing stay!

Safe neighborhood and friendly neighbor.
For the price it was good. Full size bed needs to be replaced. It was rough on our back and very unstable.

Clean, clean, clean! Can’t say enough great things. The space is beautifully styled, comfortable, and cozy. Being a bit of a germaphobe, can’t stress enough how impressed I was with the cleanliness. We will definitely book again on our next visit!

This was a great place to stay. Cindy and Jose were very nice and responsive. Make sure to check out Olympia pizza and pasta a half mile away. Very good food!

This is the second time I have stayed in this house. Cindy and Joae are terrific. The location is great, in walking distance to rhe metro we went everywhere. The neighborhood is safe and easy to navigate. The house is very homey and comfortable. Will definitely book again.

This is a nice house for a couple. Bathroom is small, claw foot tub with surround shower curtain, and wall heater. Kitchen is also small, with small dishwasher that is noisy. Limited number of plates, cups, bowls, etc. Livingroom is comfortable with couch and two chairs. One bed is firm, other is soft and squeaks. Large dining room with table and 4 chairs. Driveway has sharp angle at sidewalk, but ramps make it OK so the car does no bottom out. Very nice location for visiting Seattle and surrounding area. Some nice local restaurants and good shopping. Overall great value.

We loved our stay at this charming old home. The rooms are spacious, the off street parking very convenient, and the amenities plentiful. The street is quiet yet very close to great restaurants. It's fewer than 2 miles to the waterfront downtown and in a very safe area. We would love to come back!

My friend and I absolutely loved our long weekend stay here. So conveniently located in a very sweet quiet neighbourhood so close to everything! Had some wifi issues and the hosts were fast at resolving the matter. Highly recommend.

We come to Seattle spring and fall for medical treatment and have stayed at several VRBO properties in recent years and this rates at the top of the list for these reasons:

We enjoyed our weekend stay in Seattle at Jose and Cindy's property. This home was well-stocked and very comfortable. We experienced noise from airplane traffic, which may be normal for Seattle properties. Otherwise, our experience was very positive.

The description of the home is spot on. My family and i loved the charm of the home. The only warning is the driveway hill causes your car to scrape a little when you exit. So i would advise if you have a rental car, to get a jeep :) this will help prevent that.

I stayed Sunday-Thursday. The inside of the property is exceptionally maintained with newer, very clean furniture and very clean and soft sheets and towels. Down pillows and instant hot water in the shower and kitchen faucet. I didn’t use the kitchen but the stove was very clean. There is some noise that comes through the windows and playing white noise on my phone at night drowned it out. The heating worked great and the bathroom has a dedicated heater timer to have your feet warm when you step out of the shower.

This was an excellent property to stay at while in Seattle! The property owner was very helpful and communicated nicely throughout our stay. The location was great in a quiet neighborhood and the off street parking was a major plus for us. We really enjoyed our time at this home while visiting Seattle.

Cindy & Jose were incredibly great hosts. They provided prompt communication, above and beyond accommodations, easy instructions, much appreciated amenities, and to boot, a beautiful home (including the yard!). We could not have enjoyed our stay more. Very much recommend to those who want to be in a nice neighborhood, close to plenty of eateries, stores, shopping, and nightlife, but just far enough away for a peaceful night's rest.

Wood floors and moldings , comfortable living room, dining room and small well equipped kitchen. A/ C in both bedrooms & nice claw foot tub/shower. Steep driveway with backyard parking and back entrance. Front entrance with steps from street. Nice neighborhood in Capitol Hill.

When I saw the photo I thought the cottage was adorable and I was right! It is a wonderful, clean, well equipped home, The owners are so kind and communicative. The area is great. There is a fabulous cafe (Katy's) nearby, we still miss their coffee and food. I hesitate to give this place such a rave review because I would like it to be available the next time we go visit our family in Seattle. We totally enjoyed our stay!

Adorable house on a quiet street, everything we needed in the kitchen. Enjoyed the welcome basket and helpful extras like dish soap and sugar. A/C units were appreciated during the heat wave. We enjoyed Katy’s for breakfast, and Chuck’s beer garden with food trucks at night. Lots of cool restaurants around Broadway, also enjoyed an outdoor seafood dinner Ivars on the water (go to dinners early, things close early in Seattle). It was a quick walk to Trader Joe’s and we did a day trip to Mt Rainier.
