We loved the property, perfect for a smaller group. The living room and balcony were awesome for group hang outs. The only downside is the unit is loud and most noises can be heard in the twin sized bedroom, since it's windows overlook the living room. The appliances need some work, most of them are outdated, and the AC unit in the kitchen blows so loud you have to turn the tv up loud when it's on. Would rent again due to price and location.

This comfortably fit a family of 5. The rooms had multiple USB chargers, which is handy for the variety of electronics. The kitchen was clean, with a variety of dishes for snacks, cooking and drinking. Fantastic view of the the pool and ocean from the porches. And the 3rd floor porch offered wonderful sunrise views for the mornings you wanted to sip tea and watch the world go by.

Good location. Nice complex and pool. Kitchen amenities were good, beds were not great. Very uncomfortable, noisy and falling apart.

The condo was clean and well cared for. Nice to have great pots and utensils to cook breakfast and dinner sometimes. Pools was really nice and beach was beautiful. Nice to be just a short drive into Charleston. Very comfortable for 5 adults. Highly recomend!

The condo is in a great location, with easy access to the beach. The property company was great to work with too. We loved our week there! The condo does feel a little “worn”- cracked kitchen tiles, small holes in the wall, scuff marks on walls, etc, but is a rental so can somewhat be expected.

Upon entering the condo I realized it was dirty. The bannister was black with dirt and the kitchen cabinets were covered with food. The spice rack was dirty so I didn’t want to use anything and got busy cleaning. Then the running toilet saga started. The maintenance people interrupted my stay 7 times to address a high water bill, finally deciding to replace the inside of the master toilet. The toilet never worked right again. I should of guess that I ended my 2 month stay with an infestation of cockroaches.

The Condo is in a great location with access to the beach, pool at the end of Isle of Palms. Check in was easy and the condo easily slept our 8 adults.
My only complaint would be that there should be more forks and knives than just 8.

Great location with quick access to pool and beach.The layout of the condo was perfect for our group of 4 adults and 3 children.The dining table should have been bigger. It only had 4 chairs, although the bar behind it had 3 tall chairs.Overall excellent experience!!!

We have stayed on the isle of palms for quite a few years now, never in the wild dunes area. Totally awesome experience. Tranquil, the grounds were beautiful, relaxing,friendly, plenty to do whatever you want. A wonderful experience we will differently be back ❤️.

We very much enjoyed our stay on Isle of Palms! Island Realty handles the check-in and paperwork and they were very easy to work with and have great communication. The condo is in a great location just steps from the beach and it and all of the facilities on the property are well maintained. Our only issues were that the floors were still a bit sandy when we checked in (although not surprising given the proximity to the beach) and there was no dining table in the unit at the time we stayed. Otherwise we were very satisfied and would definitely recommend.

Condo was in a great location, we enjoyed having multiple bedrooms & having a place with 3 different levels. Nice view of the pool & ocean from balcony(s). Beach was close walking distance (great for small kids) and the beach was nice. I would definitely recommend paying extra for setup of umbrellas & chairs on the beach. The condo could use several updates (some patio furniture was broken, not a good variety of kitchen utensils/lots of miss matched dishes, furniture worn, etc.). We just expected better condition overall of the condo for the price paid. We would go back to the condo complex - but would try another condo.

This is our second year in a row staying at a Mariners Walk condo. First, Island Realty had great customer service. We love the Mariners Walk location for it’s proximity to amenities on Isle of Palms, the beach, and Charleston. It’s a very quiet family friendly property but still convenient to everything. The condo however could use some improvements. Lots of cracked tiles, dirty walls, thermostat was difficult to work, broken chairs on the patio. Would be nice to have more than one trash bag and two dish washer tablets. But if I had one thing to improve it would be the beds! They were so bad in fact that my six-year-old preferred to sleep on the couch. We actually went home a day early because no one could spend another night on those beds.You could feel every spring in the bed and they squeaked horribly even after pushing the beds up to the walls. In short we would probably not stay at this condo again because we were all so uncomfortable.

Very disappointing. The unit is in a very good location and we have rented two other units in Mariners Walk in previous years.
To begin with, the unit was not cleaned properly prior to our arrival. All the pots and pans were greasy and needed to be washed, and the self-cleaning oven was filthy. The refrigerator and dishwasher were functional, but the lower rack in the dishwasher fit incorrectly and shelves were miossing and broken in both the refrigerator and freezer. We were told that nothing would be done, since the kitchen and all the bathrooms were going to be gutted and renovated after our two month stay. The window in one of the bedrooms was coming loose from the frame and was missing a lock. The unit had four nice televisions,but had a basic cable package. Essentially the only stations you got were ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC and a few other minor stations. For an extended stay this was very disappointing. To top it all off, we had a mouse problem. it ate both our food and part of the living room rug. Island Realty had to send a cleaning person to deep clean the main level to remove trash behind the sleep sofa as well as a significant amount of mouse dropppings.
To Island Realty's credit, we were moved to another unit in Beach Club Villas, but the aggravation we endured during the first 12 days of our stay has put a damper on our vacation.

We were extremely unsatisfied. The outdoor property and location were great. The inside of the house was not so great, to say the least. The walls were dirty and in need of painting. The oven was dirty, as well as, the floors, the rugs, the ceiling fans, the third floor outdoor furniture. The dishwasher rack on the bottom, does not fit that dishwasher. We would notice that dishes were not getting clean. My husband figured out the problem. When you put dishes on the rack, the plates hang below the rack, as it would, when plates are sitting up in the rack. What happens when you run the cycle, is that the arm, that the water comes out of, does not clear the plates sitting up, and therefore they are not being cleaned. There’s a situation in the closet where the water heater is. The filter is sitting in water, where condensation is pooling from the A/C. That truly can’t be good. The air return vents are filthy. I could probably go on, but I think you get the picture, which I have. Many pictures. I’m sorry to say, we will not stay there again.

When we arrived we had to have maintenance called bc of finding a broken screen door as well as annoying noise that was coming from fridge. They did fix the problem after several hours of not knowing. We also did receive compensation for the inconvenience. I learned that this particular unit doesn't use IR cleaning people. Other issues we had was that several high touch areas weren't clean. Found pills in one of the bathrooms and soap scum and hair. The first night I was cleaning the unit at 10:00pm. Not something I really wanted to be doing. Apparently, the cleaning people forgot to put up shower curtains in 2nd floor bathrooms. Showed up morning of our 2nd day and proceeded to walk right in when we didn't answer the door fast enough. The microwave was also not working very well. All items were brought up. IR did address and took care of everything. Just wasn't what we were expecting. All in all we did enjoy our 1st trip to IOP the beach was amazing. We won't rent this unit again but will give IR another chance to rent another place in the future.

A/C was leaking, fan in bedroom above LR was not working, umbrella on deck was broken. Rusty garbage can in half bath.Stains on couches.For the price, I thought the place should be more updated. The rental itself was of moderate quality. The two larger bedrooms were very nice. However, the bathrooms were on the small size. Other minor maintenance issues occurred with closet doors, cabinet doors, etc. Roaches/palmetto bugs were an enormous problem in the unit and, frankly, disgusting. Kitchen space is quite limited esp for storage of non perishable groceries. Smaller groups would be more comfortable in the unit than maxxing out the space. To some degree we got what we paid for, as we were looking for the best bargain. Island Realty was extremely great to deal with throughout the booking and vacation.

We loved the easy access to the beach and pool, and the views of the beach from the balconies. However, the squeaky beds, cheap patio chairs, and lack of darkening blinds made the price seem to high. Not to mention the property hadn’t been cleaned at all when we arrived!
