About this condo rental
MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND AVAILABLE and a few day in the first week of June at REDUCED RATES. New viny plank flooring just installed. Play pickleball on new dedicated courts. This is an owner direct rental through VRBO, so you pay only the VRBO fee and no additional rental agency fees. Always compare total cost and not just nightly rate. Cleaning is included in rate and there are no taxes. This is a Beachfront 3 bedroom with unblocked ocean view at Sea Colony, a premier resort with many free amenities. Same view as a dune top cottage. High enough for privacy but not eerie. Covered parking. On the second floor of Island House, the newest building on the beach. Just one easy flight to the promenade/pools/beach level (elevators are available but stairs are closer). 1/2 mile of private beach, 34 tennis courts including some soft surface and 6 indoor courts (always one of the top rated tennis resorts in the world), 12 pools (2 indoor), 2 fitness centers, 4 new pickleball courts, new splash park, new outdoor jacuzzi, walking trails, surf fishing, and in summer many planned camp-type activities for children, including games, contests, bonfires and marshmallow roasts, bingo, junior lifeguards, etc. Condo has granite kitchen countertops, undermount sink, high arch faucet with pullout, etc. New shower stall, new shower fixtures in both baths, new dishwasher, comfort height toilets and W/D in last 5 years. Has 4 flat panel TVs (one a 55"). Wired internet and WIFI available. Sleeping arrangement: queen in MBR, 2 twins in 2nd and 3rd BR, and queen sleepsofa in LR. You must bring you own linens (sheets, pillow cases, towels) or rent from an agency. Parking is limited to 2 vehicles during the summer season (although more may be rented if available). Reserved parking space is covered which is a great benefit on hot or rainy days. Sorry, no smoking in entire building or pets allowed. A guest/amenities badge, for anyone age 4 and older, must be purchased upon checkin at Sea Colony. The fee is $15, $25 or $55 depending on the season. This was the perfect place for a cozy getaway! Sea Colony is a great location. Property owner was very responsive and provided docs prior to trip that were so detailed that there was no need to contact him during my stay. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it! Thank you!

More dated than expected. Recreation center nice but closed during part of our stay. Great location and nice beach. Better bedding and more kitchen equipment such as knives would have made stay even better.

Property owner was great to work with. Great communication. Property is clean and close to the beach. Great views of the beach and the pool from the living room sofa. Definitely plan to stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay and the condo had everything we needed. There was a little confusion because when we checked in they told us it was ready but the cleaners were just getting there. They were very accommodating and we worked it out.

The property is well represented in the photos. Was clean, and, smelled clean too. So easy to walk down one flight of stairs to the promenade and head right to the beach. Dick is a wonderful host - incredibly fast to reply to any question or request. Our family of four (including two teens) had plenty of room and loved our stay. Thank you !

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Bethany Beach. This condo accommodated our family perfectly. The description of this property was quite accurate and everything was as we expected. We hope to return again.

We loved our little stay at this location! We were able to go to both Bethany beach and Rehoboth easily. The place was clean and quiet. The on site heated pools were nice because we stayed a little early in the beach season. Would definitely stay again!

Condo was absolutely fabulous to stay a few days in. The whole place was clean and had a very well stocked kitchen that allowed cooking meals a breeze without bringing any items from home. I look forward to future stays there.

Smooth (other than the weird way they number the parking spots😅) and comfortable. Beach was large, clean, and relaxing. Great vacation spot!

Great location, no issues with the place, host is responsive and check in/out instructions are clear. The parking spot is along the tall wooden fence between the two buildings - not the small wooden fence towards the beach - this may save you a few minutes looking for it :). No extra fee for the perfect weather!

The owner was very responsive and sent great instructions via email covering directions, check in procedure, parking, how to turn things on if they were not already turned on, etc. The whole wall in the living room is windows/sliding glass door that looks out over the pool and ocean! The large window in the master bedroom also looks out to the ocean. There is no better way to wake up than to wake up and be staring at the ocean! The private beach was nice and quiet. We absolutely loved the location and had a fantastic time! The condo was very clean and appeared just as it does in the listing. We’ll be back!

Although Despite our difficulties trying to location the “Sea Colony Shoppe” to check in for our stay, Dick remained on the Phone with me to help assist his best to guild me in the right direction, his condo was in a immaculate shape, fully equipped with many things for us to use, such as “Plates, utensils, and etc….” Even though we was not able to go to the beach for our stay due to work 😞 the side balcony view to this condo was amazing… We highly recommend for others to book this condo for their future stay…

Loved staying in this property. The host was very helpful and the view from the balcony and the master bedroom was everything one would want in a stay at the beach. Loved the sunrise and the view of the ocean. Wonderful!

The place was not an easy access to the pool. They have several pools but the outdoor pools are closed. The 2 indoor pools were not easy to access. They were several buildings away and across the hwy. So make sure you take clothes to change into afterwards because walking or driving several buildings away is not fun when wet. The pool is listed as heated but was only 85 degrees. I will say it was nice having a lifeguard. The hot tub was small but nice and hot. The place is listed as handicap accessible but IT IS NOT HADDICAPPED FRIENDLY. I’m in a wheelchair and the bathroom with the walk-in shower wouldn’t fit my chair so I had to hop into the bathroom. I had to have several pieces of furniture moved so I could get through the place to my bedroom. The bathtub had hair in it. Otherwise the place was very clean. The kitchen is small but well equipped. Overall it’s a nice place if you aren’t handicapped but if you are I wouldn’t recommend this place. The owner was very friendly but never checked in on us to see if everything was ok. The check in process was not fun. You have to drive across the street to a beach shop to do so. Also it’s listed as ocean front property but it’s more of a caddy corner view. I was very disappointed in that because I was looking forward to seeing the sun rise but it was just out of view.

Nice short vacation in this wonderful place. The place is clean, has a nice ocean view and have all the needed amenities and the host is marvelous and easy to deal with. Highly recommend this place.

The condo was perfect for a family getaway, and Dick was great at communicating the entire process clearly. We were there in the off season, so we didn't get to take advantage of most of the amenities, but I imagine it's magnificent in season.

This location is ideal! The ocean is super close, the area is located in between 2 busy areas, but it's in a perfect quiet buffer in between. You can walk to Dunk, or a quick jump across the road to the liquor store or Fins.

Property was excellent for a weekend getaway to celebrate kids birthdays. Even thought it was March the indoor pools and hot tub were great. You can't beat the ocean views and location near the beach. The host was very easy to communicate with.

Highly Recommended Condo
If you’re looking for a condo with great views of the ocean, I highly recommend this unit. You can sit in the master bedroom, living room, or on the balcony and watch the waves roll in. It’s on the second floor and near the stairs, so it’s a quick trip down to the pool or beach. I very much liked having a tub in one bathroom and a walk in shower in the other bathroom. It was clean and well appointed, so we were able to cook if we chose. The owner is amazing - very communicative and truly cares about guests’ experience. Check in was very easy, which is huge bonus after a drive. This was a great find and we definitely hope to rent again!

Lovely location
Owner was wonderful to deal with. Straightforward, flexible, communicative, and responsive. Condo wasn't fancy, which we knew going in. But it was clean, had plenty of room for our family (2 adults, 2 kids under 10), had a great view of the beach (as shown on listing), and was convenient to the beach and other amenities. I wasn't sure if there would be much open in Bethany this time of year but there was! We enjoyed the downtown area including arcade, bookstore, restaurants, stores. We also took a short drive to ice skate at the Carousel in Ocean City. Beach was lovely - even in the 50s, we enjoyed a lot of time on the beach walking and digging in the sand, building sandcastles. A lot of the Sea Colony amenities were closed for the winter, but there was an indoor pool that we were able to play at on our last day, which was fun. It was great to get away from the usual hustle bustle!!
