A wonderful place with one of the most biutiful vistas I have ever seen. Cozy and homely rooms and a very nice and caring host. This place also helps the surroundng village a lot. A rare 10 out of 10.

Kandy Lotus Villa was an amazing find. It really was a luxurious place to stay nestled in the hills just outside Kandy. The service was friendly, welcoming and attentive with a cool cloth and welcome drink on arrival and help offered for future travel in Sri Lanka. Siran our host could not of done more for us and was definitely the best host we have experienced in 3 months in Sri Lanka .The grounds are luscious among tea bushes and fruit trees. The pool is a great. The breakfast was amazing and the best breakfast we had in Sri Lanka.

The only issue and I do not feel good leaving negative feedback as our stay was amazing. But there are 4 big dogs who live here. Rhodesian ridge backs. There dogs were not vicious but they were intimidating and one did growl as we entered the house for breakfast. As we were leaving one barked and took my 9 year olds hand in his mouth and broke the skin. I am not saying he was bitten as he would of done a lot more damage if he wanted to. My child did not cry but it did shake him up. I would be a little wary if I had smaller children.
