About this cabin rental
This luxury grandroom/studio style cabin has an open common living/bedroom area and a private bathroom. The property is on the VA Creeper Trail and Laurel Creek which provide a peaceful place to spend time within steps of your back door. The large covered deck offers ample room for entertainment or just rocking away time as you look over the trail and creek. Spend quality time with family and friends in the open living area with flat screen TV (DirecTV service) wireless Internet and a sleeper sofa that can sleep 2 people. The kitchen area is fully equipped with all the supplies you will need. Enjoy meals in the adjacent dining area. The queen bed and jacuzzi tub on the other side of the cabin make this an option for that perfect romantic getaway as well. These are "grand room" cabins (much like a studio), they do have an enclosed bathroom. You will truly enjoy your stay at this cabin and want to return year after year to this peaceful mountain retreat! These are some of the nicest cabins available in the area. Come see for yourself.

We really were impressed with the cleanliness and coziness of the cabin. The view and sound of the water from the covered balcony was breath-taking.

Quite time on the creek and Creeper Trail. This little cabin is a great getaway with a kitchen. Close to town and grocery store. We rode our bikes everywhere! We used SunDog outfitters for a shuttle ride to the top of White Top mountain. Tastings @ Appellation Distillery in Damascus and wolf hills brewery in Abington.

Awesome Creeper Trail Cabin
Second time we stayed at this property, what an awesome cabin and location. Internet is awful but the owner said he was getting it fixed soon.

We both loved our stay. I was getting worried that I had made a mistake by booking the cabin but it was perfect. I can't think of anything I would change about it. So relaxing, we enjoyed very much.

The cabin was perfect!! Clean and ready for check in with no issues. A grill was listed but we could not locate it. Otherwise I highly recommend and hope to return soon.

Beautiful log cabin tucked away on the river. A short walk on the Virginia Creeper trail takes you to downtown the very delightful little Appalachian town of Damascus. This cabin has all you need!

very nice cabin. Was surprised there was no curtain in front of deck window-just felt strange getting dressed in front of cows. Also Food City delivery at 6:30am was an issue. liked having motion lights on front porch. Also Food City night light that didn't go out until 12:30am-a curtain would have helped.
Overall a pleasant experience-would consider returning. Got some good AT hiking in and walking the Creeper. Maybe next time bikes.

It's all about the back deck
The cabin is great for two people and has everything you need for a comfortable stay, but the back deck overlooking the trail and river is where we spent the most time. It's situated north, so it really stays nicely shaded all day, which is impt. when it's as hot as it was. The AC really worked well in the cabin. The supermarket is convenient right next door. The cabin is almost in the middle of the trail so you can go either way and have a day of it. Will definitely stay again.

Best getaway!
Quite cabin on the river and Virginia Creeper Trail. Beautiful birds every morning and afternoon would come and play in the trees. We brought our own bikes and rode into town every day to catch a shuttle to White top mountain or Abington. And to have dinner at one of the local restaurants. Best getaway during these days. It’s nice to get out and enjoy the fresh air.

Great Cabin in a Perfect Location
Very happy with this cabin rental. The property was new and clean inside. The sheets and towels were of high quality and much better than you would get when staying at a hotel. The Jacuzzi had been well cleaned and there was plenty of hot water available to fill it. The back porch had a beautiful view of the river and overlooked the Creeper Trail as well. Being less than a mile from town, we were able to ride bikes to our livery service and back home at the end of the day. Having a grocery store near the cabin was also a welcomed convenience. The owners were kind and responsive to all our needs. I would highly recommend this property. It is a great value for the price!

Perfect get away for 2
Cabin was right on the trail. We rode our bikes to the shuttle and rode right back to the cabin. Very clean and convenient. Will probably book it every year when we go 👍

Water front serenity
We loved the waterfront location. It's an inexpensive retreat away from work life. The cabin is minutes from downtown and located on the Creeper trail. The cabin has a covered balcony. The rockers and swing make it very easy to enjoy Laurel Creek even if it rains.

Great Location, Quiet, on the river and close to Down town Damascus!
Awesome!! So close to grocery store, right on the river and Creeper Trail. Bring your own bikes or rent from Sun Dog outfitters. We are definitely coming back!! We had the best time Relaxing and riding bikes. Great restaurants in town and in Abington. :-)

Right on the Virginia Creeper Trail
This cabin seems brand new. Nice and bright. Close to a grocery store and the town of Damascus. Loved our stay here. Rode bicycles every day. Enjoyed listening to the river rushing by.

Cabin room was a little small for 3 guys but we knew what we were getting. The TV is very basic cable but overall the location is excellent and the property is well landscaped.
