Nestled in Glen Ellen, this attractive house for £818 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Olive Glen is a new home on Sonoma Creek in beautiful Glen Ellen, California, minutes from the world-famous wineries of the Sonoma Valley and Napa. This beautiful, private home, with a pool completed in May of 2024 is on nearly an acre of land with a 60 vine vineyard, views of treetops, Sonoma Mountain, and Sonoma Creek. The home is shaded by mature olive and redwood trees. Its features include a fully equipped chef's kitchen, a covered outdoor game/tv room, solar power, an electric car charging station, a home entertainment center, an indoor dining area for 6, outdoor teak dining table, gas fireplace, hardwood floors, wine refrigerator, upscale linens, modern decor, and much more. The master bedroom's en suite bath has a giant soaking tub. All living space is on a single level, which opens out to a 1500-square-foot deck with areas to lounge and enjoy the views, a teak dining table, a gas BBQ (connected to the installed gas line, no propane tanks required), and southern exposure for all-day sunshine (most of the time). The deck is a perfect place to enjoy a glass of rosé and read a good book (there's fast internet and a PS4 inside too). There is plenty of off street parking for up to three cars. A favorite feature is the heated, outdoor lighted and covered game room, complete with a pool table, table tennis, darts, and an outdoor 60" television and lounging area. Of course, there is a corn hole set too. Olive Glen is about half a mile from fine dining options in the village of Glen Ellen, including the acclaimed Glen Ellen Star, Jack London Saloon, The Fig Cafe and Wine Bar, The Mill at Glen Ellen, Garden Court Cafe, and Yeti. There are dozens of vineyards, wineries, and wine-tasting rooms nearby, several within walking distance. The area is also perfect for hiking at Jack London State Park, or Sonoma Valley Regional Park, biking, photography, and relaxing. We hope you enjoy Olive Glen and Glen Ellen as much as we do. Please note that although we do love pets, we do not allow pets of any kind at Olive Glen, no exceptions. It's interesting how often people ask if they can bring pets. The answer is always no. The absolute maximum number of guests allowed on the property at any time is 6. Also, no exceptions unless it is for a child under 2 years old. I cannot speak more highly about the communication with the hosts. The home is beautiful and the location wonderful. I very much recommend!

The house is new and fully equipped, clean and very comfortable. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen has everything that one might need, the deck is large, and it opens onto a wonderful view of the countryside. The location is also quite good with easy access to the small town of Glen Ellen with its restaurants and shops. We rented an EV and were pleased to find a charger on the property. While the house had an easy to read and helpful booklet, the owners were very responsive to questions. They met us upon arrival and gave us a very good tour of the house, inside and outside, they were available to answer questions and they made many excellent recommendations about restaurants and places to visit.
While the house is on a small but busy road it is set back enough that we were not bothered at all by any road noise. There was construction being done in the back yard where a pool was being installed. While the construction was stopped during our stay, it did limit our access to the outdoor area and it impacted the view.

House is beautifully decorated, well stocked, and has a great outdoor covered patio with giant screen TV, pool table etc. Perfect for game nights. Beds are amazingly comfortable. Hosts are super responsive and helpful.

Five of us celebrated my daughter’s 30th birthday by staying in this lovely home and visiting nearby wineries. The house is very well appointed, fully stocked and Melissa was very helpful, with detailed welcome information and by quickly responding to any questions.
Even though the road could be busy, we didn’t hear it inside or out. Everywhere we wanted to go was easy to get to and we were glad we had a car, as the road isn’t pedestrian friendly, especially after dark.
We all agreed we would stay here again, without question! Thanks, Melissa.

Wonderful property in Glen Ellen. Communication with Melissa was great. No issues at all with the house. Listing was accurate and house was well stocked with everything you could need. We were able to walk into town. Great pastries at Les Pascals and food shopping at Glen Ellen Market. Wine tastings at both Laurel Glenn and the Wine Star. Walked to Glen Ellen Star for dinner. Also convenient location for trips into both Sonoma and Healdsburg. Beautiful town and we would like to return

Super comfy, super clean, beautifully decorated, plenty of room to spread out, grass yoga mats on the deck, incredible gameroom with space heating . . . there isn't enough space to describe. The Dowlings have truly thought of everything. Check out the close with every sporting good you can think of. Our fave: 3 sizes of coolers for our picnic at Jack London Park . . . complete with red checkered table cloths! Location is perfect. Easy walk to Glen Ellen, convenient to all the major attractions. And really nice, accommodating people!! This really made our trip

This property was very well cared for and perfect for the 6 of us. We were attending a wedding in sonoma so the location could not have been better. We did not get a chance to play ping pong, pool etc but a family could easily be occupied during a stay

Really great house
A short walk to "downtown" Glen Ellen. The house appears to be fairly new or nicely re-done, very clean and well kept. We would stay here again for sure.

The place was amazing. It had everything you could want. Melissa and Paul were very responsive. We had a power outage and they were immediately at the house setting up a generator until the power came back on. The location was perfect. Everyone had a wonderful time and talked about how nice the house was. We are definitely coming back here in the future.

Great location and fun house!
The house is located in a great location of Glen Ellen, which is a charming town. The house is very nice and clean with lots of games to play. The view from both patios is great! Wineries are close by. Owners were very helpful and great to work with on everything.

Amazing rec area. Clean and well maintained house. Loved that it was well stocked with kitchen items and cleaning supplies. Very nice for our family to hang out, watch movies and explore Glen Ellen. A few mins from several restaurants, the village market, and Jack London historic park. Parking, check in/out and reaching the owner we’re all a breeze. Thank you, Melissa & Paul!
