Booking, communicating, check in was prompt and smooth. The condo had all that we needed - kitchen ware, 3 large bathrooms with plenty of towels and a w/d. Also plenty of seating in living and dining areas. We loved the lanai and had the perfect seat for nightly sunsets. Bonus: beach towels included along with beach chairs and lots of quality boogie boards. The grounds are pretty, staff is friendly and the location is close to several beaches, restaurants and shopping. Easy to get in and out with underground parking. We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to return. One con: condo is right above a pool which leaves any quiet moments on the lanai to very early mornings or very late nights, however; it wasn’t ever overly loud. (We heard no noise from the pool when the lanai doors were closed.) Condo was clean, well kept, and had all the amenities we needed. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home and mahalo to the islanders who welcomed us so graciously.

No aluminum foil, baggies...etc. wasted a lot of money buying what we needed. Stayed at other properties there and they were stocked much better. Also property was a little old. Dirty drapes in bedrooms.

KBM Resorts was great to rent through. Honua Kai Resort is a lovely place to rent especially for families traveling with younger kids. I highly suggest room 503! KBM made sure our stay was comfortable and that we had everything we needed. They were always friendly and helpful answering any questions we had. We had some problems with our room and they exceeded our expectations of making sure they helped us remedy it. I would highly recommend renting through KBM Hawaii. We definitely will rent through them again!

If you go out in the ocean in front of the property- wear water shoes lots of sharp rocks but great fish to see when it’s not windy and the sand isn’t getting churned up. Definitely plan to go back!

We’ve stayed at this resort a few times but this unit was our favorite, thus far. They left boogie boards, lawn chairs and several games for our family to enjoy in our down time. Thank you for sharing your unit with us!

We have visited Honua Kai 7 times and have stayed in ocean view studios, ocean view 2 BR’s and 3 BR end units with bbqs. Hokulani 503 is by far our favorite out of all of them. The open layout and proximity to the ocean is what we liked best. It is a privately owned unit so we felt there was a little more pride taken into the upkeep and maintence of the unit as opposed to other property managed condos. I am bookmarking HK H503 and will definitely be staying here again.

This condo is amazing! Spacious, light filled, and the opening window wall - absolutely stunning. We enjoyed our week here and were impressed with many little touches, like a box of chocolates for us to enjoy on arrival. There were a couple little things that it lacked - no ziplock bags or tupperware to store leftover food or to pack a lunch to go - despite offering a cooler to pack in a lunch in. The grounds were amazing, the pools were clean and warm, and having Duke's on site was wonderful as well. Would definitely stay again if we return to the island!

We loved the luxurious accommodations. There was room for all of us. Beds were comfortable and the rooms spacious. Kitchen was well stocked. We loved the roomy patio. Beach chairs and boogie boards were well used. Overall, a great time!!!

The condominium was better than we imagined with spectacular views, plush accommodations, a kitchen with luxury appliances, and stocked for large family gatherings. Leveraging the complex BBQ grills, the condominium contained a large assortment of pots, pans, knives, serving dishes, glassware, stemware, dishware (to include plastic-ware for kids and the pool!), washer and drier, necessary consumables (soap, laundry detergent, dish soap, garbage bags, etc.) and a wine refrigerator! Others in our group rented two other condominiums in the complex and they did not have the kitchenware that we had so the party was always at our condominium!! We will be returning and hope to rent this condominium since it has the BEST OF EVERYTHING!! The overall property was stunning, well maintained, functional, convenient, and well managed! We walked the boardwalk, at the ocean’s edge, each morning providing several miles of beautiful coastline and the view of dozens of resorts. Having Duke’s restaurant right on the premise provided several delicious meals during our visit. The gardens and the various tropical pools provided a great day of sunning, swimming, and family time for all ages. Great location to fishing, snorkeling, diving, Whaler’s Village, Lahaina, and all other attraction of this beautiful island.

2nd stay at Honua Kai. Great unit.

Maui in and of itself is amazing and this property truly captures it all! The condo itself is spacious, beautifully decorated and well stocked with upscale furnishings and finishes. The view from the outside deck is spectacular! We started our day with coffee and ended our day with cocktails all the while enjoying the beautiful ocean view, whale sightings, tranquil sunrises and awesome sunsets!! The location is perfect! The boardwalk runs in front of the property and is a 20 minute walk to Fisherman's Village and a plethora of shops and restaurants. We enjoyed many days at the pool with poolside service from Dukes. The pool was clean and not overly crowded. We also spent several days on the beach snorkeling, tanning and playing in the surf and even had a few turtles that happened by one day. The condo comes with beach umbrellas and sand chairs to make the beach days comfortable. This condo and our time was nothing short of amazing and we can't imagine staying anywhere else!

I truly excellent condo on the beach in Maui. 5th floor views of the ocean - whales and sunsets were so awesome. The pool complex right below the deck with twinkling tiki torches at night making a festive atmosphere. Duke's restaurant is right in the middle of this condo complex - great food and drink. The condo is well appointed and comfortable and well maintained - plus a great compliment of games, beach chairs, etc. The deck door slides wide open (nano wall) for bringing the outside in. Cocktails on the deck at Sunset not to be missed. The condo is spacious and didn't feel cramped with 3 couples. Well equipped kitchen - we had fun making gourmet meals. Activities were great - a long boardwalk south to Kanipali and Whalers Village, great sandy beach, the pool complex and hot tubs, the fitness facility. Cant wait to go back!

We loved our week in Maui, and this beautiful condo was fantastic! The kitchen is gourmet with everything you could possibly need to prepare a wonderful meal. The decor is beautiful and the furniture is very comfortable. We shared the condo with 2 other couples and there was more than enough space for everyone! The bedrooms and bathrooms are very spacious and private. Not to mention, our bed was one of the MOST comfortable beds I have ever slept on! Truly, i wanted to take the mattress home with me! We started each day with coffee on the balcony and ended with cocktails. The views are outstanding! We saw so many whales and beautiful sunsets. Each morning, we loved walking on the boardwalk that runs along the water and golf course. It was a nice way to get some exercise and take in the beautiful sites! The condo is fully equipped with beach gear (chairs, umbrellas, snorkel gear, boogie boards, coolers, etc.) and the beach is an easy walk. It was great not having to rent all that gear. We spent many afternoons on the beach watching the kite boards and whales! Beautiful! We did a little hiking, golfing and sightseeing, but mainly we relaxed at the beach and the pools. The pool area, by the way, is huge with plenty of chairs and shade. There are several golf courses nearby with great rental clubs. We walked around Lahaina, which was very cute for some shopping and an ice cream cone! I can't think of one thing that would make this condo better than it already is. The owners have thought of everything! Best rental ever! I would highly recommend!
