Great location!!

We had a great time! Very nice close to the beach!

We were in town for a wedding. The location and setting was perfect. We could walk to dinner and to the beach. The place was nicely appointed and comfortable.

Stress free vacation, easy check in/out. Can be noisy but to be expected with proximity to bars and beach we didn’t mind. House had all amenities we needed. If you could have a better futon or pullout bed for kids would be a bonus over the fold up mattress provided. Really enjoyed our stay back in Encinitas thanks

My husband and I chose Encinitas to spend for our homeymoon. This place was affordable and super close 4 minute walk to the beach. Even all the shops, restraunts and the convenient store are short walks. It truly is a little hidden gem. Has a private back patio, and was absolutely perfect for two people looking to enjoy a vacation by.the beach. It was too perfect. The host, Joe, was very friendly, laid back, and accomodating. Was everything i could have dreamed my honeymoon to be, thank you!

Supper good location, clean, everything you need. You can walk to the beach, clubs, brewery, and restaurants. All short walk 2-3 blocks. Great fun!

We love the check-in process! Very clean place, including all the cooking utensils, pots and pans!! Thats a plus for someone like me who likes to cook! The bed is super comfortable! We also have no problems finding a streets parking! Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay!

Joseph’s property was comfortable, clean, and conveniently located. Our morning walks to the beach or local Encinitas coffee shops/eateries were a pleasure. Will certainly stay again and recommend to family and friends.

The location was perfect for our Encinitas getaway. The room was well-appointed with everything we needed and walking distance to the beach and downtown.

Great little spot! It was a bit tight for two parents and two young (7 & 9) kids. Forced us to get outside which is exactly where you want to be in Encinitas! Joe was very responsive and made sure everything was great. Can’t wait to come back!

We enjoyed our 4 day visit and got to recharge our bodies.

We have stayed in a number of VRBOs in the Encinitas area. This is among the best. The location can’t be beat with easy walking access to restaurants, etc on the 101 as well as Moonlight Beach. The unit appears to have been purpose built as a segregated part of the main house. It is ideal for a couple. Being attached to the main house, we occasionally heard a little sound from the owners, but probably less than one would experience in a hotel. You will hear the train in the morning at the station a few blocks away. Again, nothing really disturbing. The furnishings are nice. The utensils, etc. appear to have been purchased for the unit, not someone’ castoffs. The microwave was broken, but we didn’t need to use it anyway. Parking on the street is sometimes difficult, especially on the weekends, but Joe is accommodating, allowing the use of one side of the driveway if needed.

If you enjoy walking vacations, this is the perfect spot. We parked our car (easy on weekdays) and walked everywhere! The beach is just a few blocks away and the little town, with lots of great eating establishments and some fun shops, is a block away! The guest house is ideal for two adults. Our young adult daughter joined us for the first three nights and it felt a bit cramped. It would also be great for a couple with a baby or young child, but I wouldn't recommend it for more people than that. The property has a small, enclosed patio. We felt very safe, leaving the windows open every night. I'd prefer central AC in the summer though. Sleeping was a bit warm; for privacy, we needed to close the curtains in the bedroom. The living room stayed pretty cool all the time and my daughter was comfortable sleeping there. Probably wouldn't be a need for AC for most of the year, but we happened to be there during a heat wave. We had some special requests due to medical needs and Joe was super responsive and helpful. Communication was great through the VRBO app, but not ideal with the phone number that we were given. Once I figured that out, it was fine. Thanks for a wonderful stay. My husband and I will be back for sure!

Short walk to Moonlight Beach down the D Street access or take a right and you're at Moonlight Beach by the LifeGuard station and concessions/restrooms, etc. So convenient to walk to amazing restaurants on Coast Hwy and especially Gelato 101!! Encinitas Coaster Station is close by too! We had been renting a house all week close by, with our family (kids/grandkids) and wanted to extend our stay for a few more days of relaxing and beach time, so we transitioned over to Joe's place for 4 nights for just the 2 of us. We were so happy we selected Joe's unit, we hope to be back again! Owner was easy to communicate with too!

Great little getaway place- darling- close to the beach/ shopping/dining- Joe- the host- knew about my hubby bday- brought him a special piece of cake- anyway- great adventure- would definitely recommend- in one of the pics looks like an intersection- no- nice quiet residential place- Be sure you go to the East address ——

We’ve been looking forward to this stay pre covid! The location was great. We were able to walk almost anywhere and the coaster was super close!! Washer and dryer was very convenient and they had all the beach things available:)

We absolutely loved this home! It was beautiful, very clean and comfortable. They had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook and prepare meals at home. Plenty of towels for bath or beach. It was the perfect size for myself, my husband and our 5 year old - very nice queen size bed, with a futon mattress that can be made on the floor, as well as a very nice couch. We are looking forward to staying here again. -the only downside was the bath tub jets were having an electrical problem, so they would kick on randomly. Sometimes all night long, which was quite loud. Hopefully its fixed soon!

This place was even better than expected. One of the photos looked like maybe the house was on a big or busy street corner, but it is in a small beautiful neighborhood just a few blocks to the beach, and a few blocks the other way to cool shops and restaurants. The place was clean and private.

We did a little get away in Encinitas. This VRBO has a fantastic location in Encinitas! You can easily walk to the cute town and Moonlight Beach is one of our favorite beaches in San Diego. We were there during the Holiday Parade, which was an added bonus. The kitchen was great. This VRBO would be best for a couple. It is on the smaller side, if you have more than 2 people. It would be nice if they checked their towels better. One of the bath towels had a hole in it and should be retired. Great time away.
