Had planned this trip to enjoy backyard patio. Was grossed out by condition of grill and patio area. The kitchen definitely needs upgraded kitchen utensils and pans. A coffee pot would be nice. My guests were all vets so were able to make do. Bedrooms were fine. Beautiful piano.

We had four golfers stay at the location for 5 nights. Everything was clean and all essentials (cooking, A/C, bathroom and TV/cable) worked to our satisfaction. It was a quiet neighborhood that had easy access to the 101 freeway and local shopping and restaurant options. Moreover, it was a great value for us.

This home was exactly what we were looking to book for my parents' fiftieth anniversary celebration. We asked my folks if they wanted to go on a cruise or an all inclusive vacation, but they said they would prefer to have us all in one place together and just relax. When asked about a fancy formal dinning experience for their anniversary, they said they would rather have the "boys" make it at home. After some discussions with my two sisters, we booked John and Susie's home in Glendale AZ for 8 days in March 2018. The master bedroom was special and my parents really enjoyed it. The other bedrooms were spacious and had comfortable beds. The kitchen had most everything you could want to turn out a variety of meals including a seven course dinner we prepared to celebrate the 50th anniversary. This was the one time we used the formal dinning room, otherwise we ate at the spacious kitchen table. We also used the built in grill to prepare several meals and a couple of courses for the seven course dinner. The grill was great and was one of the natural gathering spots for us. The house had lots of room and we sat and visited in all the common spaces at different times. We also spent lots of time in the backyard. It was a great place to soak up the sun or sit in the shade. We felt at home the moment we walked through the door and thoroughly enjoyed our time in Glendale. I should also say that the neighborhood is quiet and well maintained and the house has easy access to the 101 freeway which gives easy access to everywhere in the greater Phoenix area. We had a day out in Sedona for lunch and hiking at Red Rocks Park. We went to three different Spring training games at Goodyear, Glendale and Surprise. Access was easy to all of these and Peoria is closer and even easier to access than the ones we went to. My dad and brother in law went hiking on some trails that were less than 10 minutes away. My wife, sister and mother had lots of shopping opportunities. None of us golfed on this trip but there were lots of courses to choose from. This spacious well appointed home was great for our group of 7. It would have been equally great for our planned group of 9. John, the owner and Greg, the property manager were accommodating and very responsive. We could not have asked for a better experience.

We stayed for a week on a visit from overseas and were very happy with the house. It is very much a family home with character and a welcoming ambience. We felt 'at home' within an hour or two. The range of facilities available was impressive. The home's proximity to Arrowhead Mall was a real bonus and we found its location very convenient for our travelling needs. A special mention of the property manager has to be made. His prompt attention to any issues we had (they were minor) was much appreciated.

Our 2nd time staying. Perfect location and beautiful house!

We are four senior age golfers who enjoyed a four night stay at this home in March 2016. Owner was very responsive when we had questions prior to booking; often answered emails in just an hour or two. Everything went smoothly and the home had all the amenities we expected. Good location to Mariner's/Padres' spring practice facilities in Peoria; home is not far from the 101 so easy to get around. We will book again if it is available next time we are in the Phoenix area.

We could not be more pleased with this home. The owners were incredibly helpful and responsive to all of our questions. We had everything that we needed right here in the home! This trip to AZ we took day trips to Saguaro National Park (2 hrs. away) and Grand Canyon (3.5 hours). We also went to the Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix and a spring training game in nearby Peoria (Mariners). this location in Glendale was just perfect for all of our trips. The home was large and comfortable: it was fantastic using this home to unwind after a our various day trips around AZ. We even made homemade lemonade with lemons from the lemon tree in the backyard! This was the perfect home for our family trip!

Our stay in this home was awesome! The house was huge, had high ceilings and had a grand spacious feel. Everything was clean and bed were really comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook at home when we were not going out. We watched movies in the upstairs movie room and enjoyed meals outside in the outdoor barbecue area. There was lots shopping and restaurants within a few miles. Working with John was a pleasure, he was accommodating, helpful and easy to communicate with. Our week in the Phoenix area flew by, we hope we can come again.

This is a great place to stay especially for a large group. The backyard is incredible, and the front yard is beautiful. It is located perfectly, within two minutes of one major freeway and 10 minutes of the other major freeway in the area. Nice quiet neighborhood. The owner was extremely easy to deal with, nice, and very accommodating. The house was clean and tidy. The yard looks professionally designed and up capped. The grill in the backyard is huge and nice. I highly recommend this property

I rarely write reviews, but this was such a pleasant surprise! My wife and I came to Arizona with a few other couples for some golf and great weather. Usually, we stay in a hotel. We decided to try something different this year and were so glad we did. Having your own house is so much better. We were able to cook meals in a beautiful kitchen and even had a BBQ in the backyard with a very impressive grill area (with seating and fireplace). The owner even let us take some lemons off the tree and make lemonade as we sat enjoying the sunsets. The location is great in northwest Phoenix, easy access to major freeways. Several golf courses close, lake pleasant 15 min away and we took balloon rides out near the lake. Spring training facilities are close and there are so many restaurants within 5 miles. The house was clean, the decor was very modern with southwest feel. Plenty of bedrooms with very comfortable beds. There is also a room with a projector screen, apparently designated as a movie room. We had a theater-type experience 2 nights of the week. John, the owner, was very responsive and opened up the whole house to us, as well as giving recommendations on what to do in the area. Overall, we would highly recommend this house. It actually turned out to be cheaper than staying in the hotel last year. We will be back next winter!
