About this house rental
Located in Upper Hominy, this charming house for £363 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Elevacres is a like having your own private resort on a mountaintop. It is perfect for family vacations, receptions, and family reunions**(see note below). Check out this video There is a large sparkling SWIMMING POOL with a HOT TUB beside it. Secluded on all sides, our ten acres of beautiful rolling high meadows provide gorgeous long-range views down the valley. The swimming pool provides for a wonderful addition to any vacation. It is extremely fun to be able to swim under the stars in a warm pool even in early fall when the nights start getting a little chilly. If you want to get really warm you can jump into the beautiful hot tub beside the pool. You will really enjoy this. The hot tub is open year round. The pool is open from May 20 through October 1, and, of course the rental rate is much different when the pool is open, but there is a way to extend that time a little bit (for up to two weeks before opening or two weeks after closing), by paying a pool season extension fee. As renters you are welcome to all of the surrounding 120 acres that is owned by our family and extends all the way to the top of the mountain. These mountains have a great combination of forests, high meadows, rock faces, and creeks that will provide for lots of exploration on foot or horseback (we do have a two horse stall mini-barn for your horses). We also have a large concrete pad set up for half court basketball, skating, skateboarding, and kid cars and bikes. There is a huge lawn that is great for weddings, receptions, BBQs, badminton, volleyball, frisbee, baseball, or whatever else you can think of. You may find it hard to leave Elevacres during your vacation to visit the other sites around Asheville. But if you do venture out you will find that we are in the perfect location. Located about twenty minutes from the Biltmore House and less to downtown Asheville, NC Arboretum, malls, and antiques, you will also get a ten minute headstart on everyone headed to nearby elk watching, and downhill skiing. We still live in the Asheville area and we plan to move back into this house someday when the kids are raised, so we take very good care of it. You will not find a cleaner or better maintained property than Elevacres. Keywords: House

We had a wonderful stay! The views are breathtaking and there was something for all ages. We spent more time at the house than originally planned bc it was cozy and had a lot to do!

Our family was in town for the holiday and had a very nice stay at Kevin's place. It was clean, comfortable and had plenty of room for our family to hang out and visit. We enjoyed the privacy and quiet country setting. The kitchen was well supplied for a rental property and had all the basics we needed for meal prep. We were pleased with our choice of staying at Elevacres for our visit to Asheville.

Elevacres is as advertised in the pictures, descriptions and past reviews on VRBO. We had 9 family members at the house, ranging from 80+ to 1.5 years and our only complaint was the time there blew by way too fast. When you combine the house, the surrounding grounds (including the pool and hot tub) and the awesome views, its hard to beat. We've stayed at many VRBO's over the years and Kevin is certainty the nicest and most responsive owner/host we've experienced.

We went here for a bachelorette party and it was perfect! Pool, hot tub, huge yard and games downstairs. Not to mention the views from every room are amazing. The only downside is that the closest grocery store is about 20 min away however, there is a convenience store about 6 min away.

Beautiful views all around. The pool kept all four of our children occupied for hours when we were at the house. Food store was a nice short drive (10 min) from the house Convenient for restocking items as needed. The beds were comfortable and layout of the house was great for our family of 6. The kitchen had everything we needed. We enjoy the outdoors and were able to spend a beautiful day on the Blue Ridge Parkway - up to Mount Mitchell and were happy to see a little black bear on our way back down the mountain! Another day was spent at Fontana Lake, which was an absolutely beautiful hour drive to get there. The lake is amazing and everyone in our family agrees that it was the best day of our trip. This house was a nice spot in the middle of the activities we enjoyed and not far off the highway that we traveled to get there. Convenient location, beautiful views, quiet, comfortable and peaceful. The owner, Kevin, was very kind to offer suggestions for local activities and responsive to our questions.

My family had a wonderful stay at this property last week! It was the perfect place for everyone - from my 8 year old son to my 77 year old father. The house was in a good location for all our activities. We also enjoyed relaxing in the pool and playing kickball in the yard. Would definitely recommend this property!

Beautiful house and location. Everything was as advertised. The house is cozy and very clean and comfortable with plenty of space for a large group & has all of the amenities we needed & more. Bedrooms and sleeping arrangements allowed for comfort and privacy for our group of 8. Only about 15 minutes from downtown. This house was the perfect setting for a long weekend that actually felt like rest, relaxation and re-connection with family & friends. The view on the front porch is amazing! The pictures don’t do it justice! Even more spectacular in person! Would definitely stay again.

The house and grounds were in great shape. Our kids ranged in age from 3 to 15 years and had no problem entertaining themselves. The pool and hot tub were warm and wonderful. Plenty of different spaces for people to be. All appliances that we used worked (washer/dryer, dishwasher, grill, coffee pot, fridge). Owner was very quick to respond when I contacted him a couple times during our stay. Already looking at dates to rebook in the Fall.

The best part of the property were the views. From both the back and front yards. We all found ourselves at various moments throughout our week there stopping and simply staring at the view in the quiet. Also, the view at night of SO many stars. We were coming from a more metropolitan area loved how bright all of the stars were at night.
The owner (Kevin) stopped by to welcome us and give us some good tips for restaurants and things to do.
The home itself was more the sufficient and well kept.

The standout of this property are the views. The house was plenty big for 2 families to share (total of 9 people). One day, 3 of us went exploring and hiking (it was awesome), though I will warn you that it is strenuous and if your young kids are whiny like mine, they won’t enjoy the hike. The property is only about 20 min to Asheville so we were able to go out to eat one of the nights. It was December and cold, so most of the time we were inside playing games and hanging out. One thing we needed was a pizza cutter but were able to buy one at the grocery store.
Overall, it felt like staying at a family member’s house. We felt welcomed and warm. The ceiling fans were dusty, some parts were a little outdated, but we didn’t care and had a great time! Now I want to buy property in Leicester!

This property is beautiful! Everything was very well stocked... everything we needed in the kitchen, plenty of towels and beach towels, extra pillows and blankets.
The ping pong and air hockey table were a huge hit with our kids ranging in ages from 4-12.
Kevin was very responsive and emailed to make sure we got in ok and everything was up to par 🙂
Downtown Asheville is about 25 minutes away but I'm my opinion the peacefulness and comfort of the house is worth the drive.

We had an amazing time at Kevin’s house! The pool and swing set keep our little ones busy the whole trip! We enjoyed the open living room area and the option of indoor or outdoor dining! Good outdoor space for all kinds of yard games!

This was a great vacation house and property for our families. We had plenty of space, the mattresses were nice, kitchen was well stocked. We loved the pool and hot tub and the yard was perfect for baseball games (the kids current obsession.)

Beautiful property for a perfect mountain getaway
We loved staying at this property. It was a perfect size to accommodate our two families which included 6 little boys! We enjoyed the pool everyday, soaked up the beautiful views, and took advantage of the playground / fire pit / and hiking trail. It was an easy drive to Asheville as well. Kevin was very helpful and responsive when we reached out. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to get away from it all!

Great location, great property manager and overall fun!
Property was as advertised and Kevin was highly attentive when needed. The house is ample enough for our family of 6 and the surrounding area is just beautiful. Its a good place to be away from other folks and large enough to just wander around. I would come back and recommend this house.

Set on a mountainside, the property has an incredible view of the blue ridge mountains. The house is charming, comfortable, modern and attractively decorated appropriate to the surroundings. The pool and hot tub are icing on the cake. We would highly recommend this property for a mountain vacation only 20 minutes from Asheville.
The property manager is easy to get in touch with, but we had no issues during our stay.
