My family stayed at this house for a wedding at Cooper Rose Ranch. We had six staying at this house and we were all very comfortable. It is a great house to get together with your family. Nels was very accommodating with all our requests. Would stay at this house again!

Owners were easy to work with. The cabin actually exceeded our expectations as for size, comfort and location. My son and grandson actually saw a small cinnamon bear in the back.

This beautifully appointed home exceeded my expectations! The pictures don’t do it justice! The owners are perfect hosts! The home is so convenient to everything, including the river. When we return to Livingston, we hope we will be able to stay there again!

This cabin was perfect for our family! Tons of space, everything you need in the kitchen, comfortable beds and overall a cabin I would live in fulltime! As others mentioned, we enjoyed seeing the family of deer each night and my husband was lucky enough to see a moose early one morning! We also loved being greeted into the neighborhood by the family of horses and donkey. Nels was a wonderful host with great communication! I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone visiting the area.

VRBO was as advertised, fully equipped and lovely. The only thing not mentioned was the cute deer family that came to visit every morning and that I needed more apples. The owner even stopped by with granddaughters to see if we needed anything. Wonderful stay!

This home is beautiful, walkable to Sacajawea Park and only a short drive to downtown. There is lots of wildlife in the area. We saw deer at the back door a few times and a moose walk across the front one morning. Location is convenient for lots of adventures.
The owners are also very helpful & kind. Would definitely stay here again!

Family trip to Livingston was great and the house is perfect. Easy to communicate with the owner and the house is clean and comfy. Kids loved it.

There were 7 of us in our party -- grandparents, adult children, and grandkids. I was concerned there may be too many to stay comfortably. There was no need for concern because the home was PERFECT! We were close enough to the Livingston's amentities that we were able to enjoy the excellent restaurants, museum, and hiking in area parks. Being only an hour from Yellowstone allowed us to visit it but return to the trnaquility of "our home." We all agreed we could live there forever!
Nels and Debra were friendly and accommodating while giving us space to enjoy the area and make priceless memories!

Excellent kitchen, large dining table, with quality, comfortable beds and living room seating. Not too far from north entrance of Yellowstone for day visits. Highly recommend this place! Bonus was a visit from 17 friendly neighborhood goats, about 6 of which were adorable young ones.

Our stay over the holidays to ring in the new year was incredible. The photos of the interior do not do this cabin justice -- it is so cozy and relaxing! Perfect setting for 2 couples. It was negative temperatures outside, but we were just perfect inside -- sitting by fireplace, watching all of the wildlife and birds right outside the window, using the spacious kitchen for cooking, and enjoying quality time with friends. Would love to come back in the summer! Nels was a kind, responsive, and helpful host who I would book with again in an instant. Thanks!!

This is my families favorite place to stay while in Montana. Great Hosts and fabulous cabin. We spent most of our time on the back porch/deck. The array of wildlife we view from the porch is an animal/bird lovers paradise. There is nothing one could need that is not provided, except for the Titos. We are looking forward to the next visit.

The house and property were lovely, the surrounding properties were less than eye appealing. We enjoyed the convenience of the River but the fishing tackle did not meet expectations. Overall a very good experience

Would rate this 6 stars if I could! My partner and I had the perfect Montana vacation...horseback riding, hiking through Yellowstone, rafting the Yellowstone river, a rodeo in Big Timber and of course, eating/drinking our way through Livingston. It was all perfectly anchored by having this wonderful house to come home to at the end of the day, for a nightcap and watching an old western before bed. It's spacious, yet cozy and its decor is exactly what you want out of a Montana cabin. It's a 5 minute drive to downtown Livingston, but on a uniquely secluded, woodsy island. Nels and his granddaughter even stopped by to check on us and they couldn't have been friendlier! Hope to come back soon!!

Great place to call home while we fished the Yellowstone. Can’t go wrong with this house

Exceptional property. House was incredible to one used to living in Maine. Everything you could possibly use was available. Sitting on the back porch was like being in the woods with abundant wildlife for entertainment. Nels was very gracious and I hope he's a Grandfather today! Again.

We had a delightful stay at this beautiful “cabin” (looks like a cabin from the outside but inside it has all the amenities of a well-loved home). We especially enjoyed watching the birds and other neighborhood wildlife from the back deck. It was very comfortable for two adult couples traveling together—with plenty of private space as well as a generous community areas. The property is a mile walk to the center of Livingston, and we made day trips for kayaking, rafting, hiking, and fishing. All were easily accessible. Owners responded to a slight appliance problem quickly and effectively and were very responsive overall. We would definitely recommend the property and hope to visit again.

Nels’ and Debra’s spacious house was the perfect home-base for our visit with family in Livingston (we LOVE this town). We fished, we walked, we ate, we bicycled (the house has two very comfortable bikes), we walked some more. Sacajawea Park was a great place to hang out with our niece’s toddler, and we used a pavilion there for a Sunday brunch. The home’s modern, well-stocked kitchen made entertaining easy, as did the ample seating on the back deck. Finally, the deer grazing the property at dusk and early in the morning were a lovely bonus. We will be back.

We were in Livingston for my dad’s memorial and the house’s location was perfect next to Yellowstone river. We enjoyed the wildlife that joined use in the back yard.

We had a wonderful week in Livingston visiting our son. This property had everything we needed. It felt cozy and was a perfect retreat after a long day of exploring. Beautiful place!

Well appointed, and equipped. Nicely decorated. We chose this location so my son could fly fish. Terrific for access to the Paradise Valley and an hour from the north entrance to Yellowstone NP. Unfortunately, I can't speak to the fishing in the Yellowstone River a 5 minute walk from the house because, my son had to return home early.
