This completely renovated, March 2017, Ranch features a beautiful view at the head of Narraguagus Bay. Relax on two huge decks and watch lobster boats come and go, enjoy breathtaking sunrises as you start your day and unwind with a peaceful sunset after exploring local attractions. You are just steps to the water's edge, the Town Marina and Boat Launch. Kayaking, sea tours, fishing, and other water activities are a stones throw away. Or it's a short drive to Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, Petit Manan Lighthouse and the Coastal National Wildlife Refuge. You are also within walking distance to Milbridge Town Center, offering local cuisine, gift shops and shopping. This home features a very open floor plan with wood floors throughout and all the comforts of home. Its coastal furnishings and decor accentuate "the way life should be". The master bedroom overlooks the bay, has a king bed and large sitting area. Bedroom 2 features a queen bed while bedroom 3 has a bunk bed with double bed on bottom and twin on top. This centrally located home provides easy access to all of the exquisite attractions of Down East Maine and the southeastern coast of Canada.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️All the amenities you can think of! Tastefully decorated and very clean. Wonderful view of the bay and interesting to see the lobstermen working. Being from Texas this was the perfect getaway from our blistering heat. It was so nice to walk out on the decks to enjoy coffee in the morning and drinks in the afternoon. Ron, the property manager, was a wealth of local information about the important things in life such as where to get blueberry pies and tasty lobster! It was nice to visit with a host who is a super friendly, down to earth, likeable person! The only downside was the angry bee that stung me as I walked by the bush near the front steps. That aside, we enjoyed every moment of our stay. We are already thinking about a visit next year.

This home was pristine, but not in a fussy way. The decor was perfect for an oceanside home. We were greeted with flowers on both the patio and in the kitchen when we arrived. The fridge had some bottled waters and a bottle of chilled white wine waiting. What a sweet and welcoming surprise!!
Anything you could possible need was present. The homeowner has literally thought of everything!!
The view of the pier is gorgeous and restful!
Speaking of restful, the beds are super comfortable. We all feel so replenished after our stay here.
Our only regret is that we werent able to stay longer. With Bar Harbor and Acadia just an hour away, we were able to see and experience so much and then retreat back to our oasis at the end of the day.
When you stay here, make sure to visit the English potter just up the road. Truly beautiful work!
The communication with the homeowner was prompt and insightful. We could tell from our first interation that their main concern was our comfort and a desire that we enjoy both their property and home state!

My family and I felt at home in this beautiful house. It's very homey and comfortable. I enjoyed my coffee every morning watching the boats going out. Everything you need is there and more! There is a great boating charter, Robertson Sea Charter, that you depart from right across the street from the house. The location is great. It's very quiet at night for enjoying a fire around the fire pit. Thank you for sharing this wonderful home.

This beautiful home has an incredible bay view, making for a relaxing getaway. All the amenities you need inside the home and a short drive to restaurants and a grocery store. We hope to return!

Love this small town and watching the tides from the living room and back porch. Pigeon Hill Preserve is a great hike that is minutes away. Robertson Sea Tours and Captain Robertson was a great experience and our fresh caught lobster was fun to cook.

The home is beautful with amazing views! Everything you need and much more is provided, including flowers inside and outside, a bottle of wine, a outdoor firepit set up with wood and kindling. The kitchen is well stocked best I have ever seen. The place is super clean with lots of room for family of 4. Ron property manager is absolutely amazing and very responsive, had an issue with diswasher and hot water both we addressed and fixed very quickly. A great home with very hospitable host!

We arrived to find fiddle music floating over the water from the public boat launch across the road…. The windows let in the cool evening airs; there were fresh bouquets on the dining tables both inside and out. The home is pristinely clean, decorated with a coastal theme. The kitchen is well supplied and the views from kitchen, living room, decks and master bedroom are of water and fishing boats coming and going throughout the day. Gulls and herons soar and an eagle perched in the top of a pine in the backyard.
Easy drives to the Schoodic peninsula south and sightseeing from Machias all the way up to Lubec up north.
Good communication with the owner and everything in place that we needed. Good wifi too….it was a wonderful place to enjoy our first trip to Maine.

This house was just wonderful - the photos don't do it justice! It's very spacious, and the decor was so tastefully themed. It was also immaculate and truly had everything we needed. The location is ideal for exploring this part of Maine - about 30 minutes to the Schoodic part of Acadia and an hour to Bar Harbor and the island part, but there are also lots of things to do and see that are closer (like a puffin tour!) We just loved it!!!

Ernest was a great host, communicating details and setting up the home to be perfect for our stay. We loved the view of the bay from the front windows and enjoyed watching the boats and tide come in and out. We were lucky enough to enjoy the Summer Milbridge Days while we were there. We watched the parade through the town and enjoyed a great fireworks show from the porch at night. It was just over an hour to get to Bar Harbor for a great day trip, and easy access to visit family we had staying further north.
We had our 2 year old and 10 month old staying with us, and the home worked out well with having 3 bedrooms. We were able to easily baby proof the home, and felt it was a very safe location.
Another reviewer mentioned it, but the pictures in the posting truly do not do the listing justice! The home has been beautifully renovated and the decor is Maine perfection. I loved that every detail of the decor was lobster, anchors, nautical, etc. Truly set the tone for our visit.

The home's amenities were fantastic, and our host provided some very nice guest touches that were appreciated.
While it takes about an hour from the home to get to Bar Harbor or Acadia, there are benefits to being off the beaten path. It was quiet and peaceful. We got to chat with some local lobster fishermen. We found there are several local trails and activities nearby, including the Schoodic peninsula portion of Acadia. We had a terrific experience.

Lovely Maine getaway
The property was perfect for the vacation we were hoping for. A bit off the beaten path (our distinct preference),
charming views, wonderful bike riding right from our door, great lobster shacks, fabulous authentic Mexican takeout! The house is comfortable, clean, equipped with everything you could want. Friendly, helpful host just down the road.
We will gladly return!

Fantastic House and Hosts
We were at Ernests property over the Columbus day weekend and it was a great stay. The host went above and beyond to accommodate our early arrival. The house is impeccable and is a perfect location for us to visit Bar Harbor and Acadia NP. It is away from the usual hustle and is located across a harbor where you can see working boats coming and going. Overall, it was a great experience for us and thank you Ernest for making it so.

This property was absolutely beautiful! The location was perfect on the water. The house had everything you could possibly need included. Lots of space to hang out on the decks or by the fire pit. Highly recommend!

This property had everything we needed for a family of 6. We had a great time visiting Acadia National park. As other reviewers have said, this property is a full hour from the park. Hiking is tiring though, so we didn’t mind having the drive and then a spacious, comfortable and mostly quiet place to stay. (Some loud trucks would drive up the road, but not that big of a deal.) We happened to be there during a heat advisory and the house was VERY warm. We had a hard time getting it to cool off with no A/C and only a few fans. That’s not normal temps for the area, so we understood. We went north to get away from the Kentucky heat, but I guess we brought it with us!

Last Minute Vacation
This home is immaculate and the setting across from the water is just beautiful. During these times of Covid, you want to feel safe and this house is so clean and there are plenty of cleaning supplies/disinfectant wipes supplied. The grocery store is close by so you can pick up supplies any time you need. There are a few restaurants in town if you decide to get take-out. Check-in and check-out is no contact and very easy. We especially loved having the fire pit and it was already set up for our first fire when we arrived. There was also a bottle of wine chilling in the fridge. Thank you to Ernie and his family for making us feel so welcome. We would definitely stay here again.

That was the only downside of staying here is that it added two hours round trip of driving per day. We very much enjoyed our timing taking in the beauty of Maine in the fall!
