Located right in the small but friendly town of Gleneden Beach, this duplex is within walking distance of a few businesses (including the fabulous Side Door Cafe), a park, and of course the beach! With a market and a golf course and spa within a very short drive, and everything in bustling Lincoln City just a few miles to the north, you'll never have trouble finding ways to stay entertained here. The coastline is the star of this region, though you can also find gorgeous lakes and rivers, hiking and biking trails, and urban attractions nearby. This three-bedroom (plus loft), two-bathroom home can easily sleep five guests. You're also welcome to bring your dogs, though please note a nightly pet fee applies. With a homey, light-filled interior, and boasting a large living room and a large brick fireplace, you'll settle right in here. Sit in the living room and watch some cable TV, pick one of the DVDs to watch, let the kids play a provided board game, or use the WiFi to look up the tide tables. A full kitchen is open to the living area and boasts modern appliances and plenty of cooking tools. When it's time to head to bed, you'll have your choice of two rooms with queen beds, one with twin bunks, and a fun loft area with a full-size bed in a boat-shaped bedframe! My husband, daughter and I enjoyed a relaxing trip with our friends! We loved the location as it was out of the busy but a short 5 min walk to a quiet beach.

My wife and I stayed there 3 nights and it was a good deal. This would be a place for a larger group with three bedrooms and a bed in the loft. The loft could hold a number of kids on the floor.

First off, this was our first time using vacasa, and what a really good experience! Great communication, lots of information, just made it so easy. As far as beachwood, although connected as a duplex, you would never know. Very roomy open concept living room, kitchen and dining area, comfortable and seating for everyone! The bedroom were nice size and the boat bed was awesome. We had everything we needed except groceries, and coffee! The upstairs shower with opening skylight was also amazing, almost like a shower outside. The fire pit and prechopped wood was a nice touch. I would recommend for a family or friends getaway, quiet relaxing and not too far from Lincoln City.

Wonderful place. Plenty of room and wonderfully located. Next door has small path that gets you to beach. Mop was broken so could not mop. Could use a deep cleaning and our main blanket on bed was not clean so stayed in our sleeping bags. Other than that highly recommended!

The weak spots: one of the bedrooms has tiny bunk beds not suited to adults (though there is a loft bed without a door that sufficed for one of us), and the downstairs bathroom is quite tiny. The deck is fabulous, but the yard is NOT fenced, and that's usually where dogs do their thing. But the place was spotless, with a wonderful fireplace for evenings. We'd stay again!!

There were plenty of towels and blankets for everyone and it was a very cozy space. Plenty of board games to play if you choose and even movies available. They only thing I couldn't figure out was how to turn on the satellite and where the blow dryer (listed as an amenatie) was. But I didn't care enough to try super hard or call the help line to figure it out since neither were a necessity. Short walk to the beach which was nice and you could hear the ocean well from the back porch. You can even see a little sliver of ocean from one side of the deck. I would definitely plan another stay here in the future and being dog friendly was a huge bonus for us. Thank you for an amazing first experience!

Relaxing
The house was very relaxing and you could go on the back deck and see the ocean and hear the waves. At night you can leave the windows open and the house stays very comfortable. The area is very quiet and the neighbors all around are very friendly. When you walk in the house smells very nice and it feels really open and the kitchen was very clean and nice. The house has three places u can wash off the sand. The BBQ was very useful and very well kept.

Great Place
About 2 blocks from a sandy beach. A shelf exists just off shore which makes the waves break nice and large. We did discover there was no land line phone so had to connect using wifi phone. Connections on cell phone were terrible and if an emergency arose, you had to drive to the highway to make call.
I would have gladly paid any cost of phone calls if an actual phone were present.
Other than this, I would definitely recommend.

Awesome house in awesome location
I.m giving only one star down because of railings in 2nd floor esp if u have small kids around.. it's a great house they have all the supplies to cook, wifi, walkable distance to beach.. it's best place to have a week long vacation.. i.m going to book again..

Will Book Again
Quiet Dead End street and neighborhood, pretty much had everything you need for a few days stay, clean and well maintained, nice washer and dryer can't really hear them because they're enclosed in their own little room, parking just off the front door, nice adequate deck with seating and nice bbq. It is dated but again well kept, parts of floor do creek but not annoying, no ocean view but only a short walk away, we just went to get away and relax so that was no issue for us. Would be nice if loft railing bars were a little closer together or had a decorative screen on them, my granddaughters (2&3l easily fit between the rails. Other than that a good place to stay, no complaints, would and will recommend to friends and family.

Very special rental
It's a big old lodge in the woods. Funky but comfortable. The rain sounded nice on the wood ceilings, fire going in the large brick fireplace. A few minute walk to a beautiful beach. We could hear it inside the house with the window open. Needs some new floor coverings. Will rent again.

This is a cool old lodge in the woods. Great brick fireplace and the sound of the rain on the wood ceilings was soothing. Windows look out on trees. Needs new floor coverings but the kitchen looks new. Friendly people, great beach is about a 3 minute walk. You can hear the ocean with the windows open. Comfy getaway, walk to a couple good restaurants/bar in about 10 minutes. It's sorta funky but we will be back.

It was about a 2 block walk to the beach from this house. The house had everything we needed and was super comfortable and roomy.

Lots of Room Older Home
This home has great space for a group with an easy walk to the beach; the trail is right at the end of this duplex unit. It is pretty typical of an older rental home with dated furnishings but fine. Like many real estate photos these days, the photos of the place are much brighter than reality. We appreciated the updates in the kitchen and some of the bedroom furniture-I was in the downstairs bedroom and it was nice and comfy. Perhaps the owners are gradually working on updates. While we did not use them, there were lots of games for guests to play. There are a few things we noted that guests would want to know about. Being an older place, there is a strong musty odor noticeable on entry. The previous guests must have stored fish in the freezer or fridge as the smell was left behind. Down the street is a home with very loud barking/howling dogs. As we were off adventuring most of our days there, theses things were tolerable for our stay.

Pet Friendly here means people live pets so much they don't clean up after them. The place was dirty, dusty and the carpet was disgusting!!! We lived playing table games since the Cable TV didnt work, and the WiFi Wasn't strong enough to watch Netflex.
There were plenty of towels folded and stacked in the laundry room so look there before you take a shower.

i wouldn't recommend this place.
The home was dirty, dusty and the carpet was disgusting. The WiFi was too weak to support watching a movie and the Cable TV service didn't work.

In general everything looked good. It was confortable, close to the beach and definetely I will recommend it.

I encourage you to read all of the reviews. Even the older ones. The house is roomy, yet not nearly as nice as the pictures show it to be.

Front view don't do it justice
When we arrived we thought it was the wrong house. It is a duplex and the front does not look anything like the back, which is in the pictures. We think the owner lives in the other half. Anyway, it was sufficient and the inside was good. And dog friendly!!!!

Great location but needs some tlc
As in the title, it was a great location and dog friendly as well. When you drive up you realize that it is a duplex and I think the owner might live next door. The outside needs alot of work and the inside could use some tlc maintenace. Other than that it was quiet, great location, and had the basic amenities. The games they have here all are incomplete so bring your own board games.

Fun, but needs some attention
We really enjoyed the great location and homey house, but it really wasn't cleaned very well, as the other reviews said. The front of the house looks so crummy that I wasn't sure at first if it was the right place. With some real deep cleaning and if they prettied up the front of the house, this would really be a lovely little getaway. That said, it was cozy and we had a ton of fun.

Who does not love the beach.
The house is well equipped, but does need some maintenance. The towel bar came undone, thankfully my husband is handy. The boat bed upstairs needs some handy work too. The house also needs a deep cleaning, dust and cob webs all over the house. Also, the house is on the market and was attempted to be shown while we rented it without notifying us.
