Back door view to slopes of Haleakala. Canadian owned. Sister condo to D 614. Vacation with friends and family. Please ask if your preferred dates seem to be taken. Private management allows for flexibility and personal service. LANAI: New, bistro-style chairs for gorgeous view over lanai railing. Dine outside or watch the sunset from your lanai with a cool drink. Also club chairs and table for relaxing. LOCATION: Condo is located on south end of 5th floor of preferred D building. Quiet unit away from foot traffic. Non-smoking unit. Smoking area available outdoors at north end of complex. Two elevators, Numbered parking space immediately adjacent to building. New split air conditioning to both living room and bedroom. Unit also gets ocean breezes through lanai screens and mountain breezes through front door screen. Two ceiling fans. Roll Down Sun Shade on lanai allows the view but cools the lanai 10 degrees. A tropical paradise! KITCHEN: Dishwasher/ Disposal, Microwave, Fridge with Ice Dispenser, Blender, Coffee Maker & French Press, Waffle Maker, Complete set of pots, pans, dishes, etc. Island cookbook for local dishes. LIVING/DINING AREA: HDTV/DVD, Binoculars to watch whales (in season), Ceiling fan, Current Guide books to Maui for touring, hiking and snorkeling. BEDROOM: Queen size bed with 400 thread count linens and comfortable mattress with pillow top, ceiling fans, mirrored walls. BEACH EQUIPMENT: Tommy Bahama Beach Chairs, Beach Umbrella, Beach Towels, Beach Mats, Pool Noodles, Cooler AMENITIES: Free, High Speed, Wireless Internet, Free Local and Long Distance Calling to US and Canada, ELECTRONIC KEYLESS ENTRY has been installed for your convenience and safety. No keys to worry about at the beach. OTHER: Iron and Ironing board, new vacuum, brooms, etc. Maid service can be arranged. On-island manager. LOCATION: Kihei Akahi, one of Kihei's favorite vacation resort complexes, is on six and a half acres of beautiful lush tropical grounds, with two swimming pools, BBQ's, and a tennis court and pickleboard court (rackets in office). Kihei Akahi is across the street from Kamaole Beach Park II, a great beach for sunbathing, walking, swimming, snorkeling, boogie boarding, and whale watching (in season), and within walking distance of several of Maui's most popular beaches. Steps away from several small shopping centers with a variety of shopping and dining options. Wailea and Makena are a short drive, with some of Maui's best golf courses and the 'Shops of Wailea'. Diane's Kihei condo offers a fantastic ocean view where we watched countless whales blowing, breaching and slapping the water with their tails and pectoral fins. This is such a captivating thing to watch.
The comfortable condo is well located near numerous South Kihei shops, restaurants and beaches all within walking distance. My wife and I love snorkelling and we explored several of Maui's recommended snorkeling spots that are only a short drive away.
Diane provides many useful items in the condo to make your stay fantastic. We appreciated the two pairs of binoculars and several good books covering things to do on Maui, best snorkeling spots and Hawaiian fish.
The many other useful items included with the rental are shown in the listing. These were all good quality and in good condition.
We had great and friendly communications with Diane and a smooth check-in and check out.
I highly recommend this condo.

Location and unit were amazing. The views from the lanai are incredible. The unit itself is well maintained, very clean and comfortable. The kitchen amenities were very clean and a good variety to use if you decide to stay in and cook. We really enjoyed the place and the owner was very helpful and responded immediately. This has been a great vacation and would stay here again.

The condo was perfect!! The view, the set up, accessibility and of course the area made it all worth it. This was our 5th trip to Maui and our second stay at the same condo facility. Communication with Diane was top notch as she responded asap without delay. We will/try to rebook next year!! Thank you again for the beautiful condo!

Diane equipped the unit with everything we could have needed. She was responsive when there was a small condo issue. The view of the lanai is truly 180 degrees of blue ocean. The grounds and the pool of Kihei Akahi are also pretty and nicely located close to shops and restaurants. I wish the Lana’i were bigger and didn’t have the ac unit blowing warm air but it wasn’t a big deal.

The Unit is well situated across the street from the Beach and has fantastic views of sunset every night. It has a well appointed kitchen for those who like to cook and is in a well maintained and quiet property close to beach and all amenities.

Well located and equipped property with views of the ocean and the sunset. Lovely beaches just over the road, 5 minutes walk away. Good restaurants nearby. A family friendly, well maintained condo building, with nice grounds and two pools. We really enjoyed our stay and thank you to our hosts.

Great location in South Kihei. It’s about a 3 minute walk to great Kamole Beaches. The owner has equipped the condo with practically everything you could need. We would definitely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment is very comfortable, well-organized and has a fantastic view of the ocean from the lanai. The grounds of the condo complex are lovely- the gardens are beautiful, the staff friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the pool/ bbq area.

Great Location in South Kihei
We enjoyed our stay in this condo which is in a great location in South Kihei. You can walk to the beach and to several hot spot restaurants. We had a small issue with the condo's Wifi but the property manager was able to very quickly correct the situation. We would stay here again.

Awesome getaway!
We had a great 8-day stay in June. The unit was well stocked and had everything we needed for the beach (chairs, mats, umbrella, towels, boogie boards, snorkels). The view from the deck was amazing. The pools were nicer than we expected, and the condo complex was very well maintained. The beach was right across the street, and of all the beaches we saw in Maui, we think it is one of the best for swimming (we even saw a turtle!). Check in was very easy, and Diane provided a lot of useful info about things to do in the surrounding area. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again!

Our host Diane was great. Her unit was exceptionally clean and well appointed. All appliances, linens, etc were like new. Property is easy walking to many conveniences and the beach!

1st time Hawaiian vacation
Celebrating our retirement, the first vacation we planned was to Maui. We decided on this condo based on the ocean view from the Lunai! In a perfect spot in Kihei, with the beach across the street, very close eateries and shopping as well. Nicely updated condo, and with plenty of handy beach supplies. Would definitely come back to of we have the chance!

Excellent base location for exploring the island. Not too far from the airport. Close to many beautiful beaches, lots of great food options and several grocery stores. Wonderful views. Includes all the items one would need to enjoy the beaches or stay in and relax. Bed is comfortable. Plenty of hot water for showering. Diane is easy to communicate with. The condo has so many unique accents and personal touches that really get you in the Maui spirit!

Our stay at this VRBO was great. The owner was very communicative with us leading up to our trip to Maui. The property was very nice and the unit itself was clean and comfortable and was stocked with great amenities (beach chairs, beach umbrella, snorkeling equpiment, etc.).
The view was a huge bonus and the location was fantastic as it was close to the beach, shopping and several dining options.
This VRBO helped make my first trip to Maui a memorable one.
