Son’s family stayed in separate condo at Vista Del Mar. Enjoyed experiencing granddaughter’s first trip to beach and appreciated being able to bring small pet. Condo was very clean and had great view. Owner was easily accessible and responsive. Nice deep tub in bath, grab bars would be beneficial. Quiet neighborhood and close parking. Will definitely recommend and hope to be back next year.

This was one of the best locations we’ve stayed in Fort Walton! The unit was clean and had just enough space for our little family of four. What made it for us was the immaculate view. You can literally see, hear and smell the ocean when you open the window. Kim was amazing with communication and quickly answered any questions I had. We will definitely stay here again next time we are back in Florida!

The condo is perfectly located. It has beach front view and easy access to enjoy the day under the sun. The neighborhood is very quiet, which we really loved and very close (10-15 min drive) to several restaurants, shops, Destin etc. We will definitely come back as the owner was always responsive and extremely nice. The building is also perfect in size, only 9 units, there was not too many people at the beach and around so we were able to relax and have a very nice time at this small paradise. Thank YOU for sharing ypur property with us. ☺

I grew up locally so I know the best places on the beach! This is a quiet area of the beach. A quick drive fir dining or a little more action! Having chairs and an umbrella set up every day was perfect.

The 2nd floor is high enough to see over the dunes. The view of the ocean is beautiful. You can't see the sunrise or the sunset from the balcony but beach access is just a few steps away. This is a great family area, quiet, few minutes away from great restaurants and shops. One bathroom was my only challenge,but the low price of the room is hard to beat. The hostess is amazing !!!!

Kim is a great host and her condo is absolutely beautiful! Very clean and has everything you need for vacation. Everything is as described and shown on the pictures. Just steps from the beach. Also pet friendly! We always bring our little dog with us. This is our 7th year in the area and we absolutely love it!

Perfect location right on the beach stayed in Vista Del Mar #5. Definitely will be renting this condo again. The only thing is wished it had a king bed instead of queen. Big plus pet friendly.

The title of the listing says it all, “As good as it gets!” It’s been over thirty years since I’ve been to Ft. Walton. The town itself much different, more built up and more crowded, but not at the end of Okaloosa Island where the condo is. It was perfectly quiet and not crowded at all. The condo itself was smack dab on the beach, unbelievably clean and inviting. It was an easy thirty second walk to the beach from the front door. Quaint and roomy with a big bedroom and a good good sized balcony overlooking the sand dunes and beach. The kitchen was stocked with every amenity you can think of, complete with a dishwasher. Everything worked just fine including all electrical items and Wi-Fi. No need to bring anything but the food. Plenty of space for five people. The owner was very nice, very responsive and very accommodating in every way. She made the whole experience easy and care free. Thank you! Hopefully it won’t be another 30 years before I return, but would certainly like to stay here again when I return.

The owner was super friendly, professional and her goal is to ensure your stay at the Condo is awesome. Beautifully decorated and very clean, new appliances, fully stocked kitchen with dishes, silverware, cooking pots / pans and utensils. The covered deck/patio was the BEST. Comfortable chairs and a continuous view of the beach, the water, the people and the wonderful sound of the waves. Easy to navigate and get around to eat, shop, go fishing and enjoy yourself.

We loved our getaway! It was great to be on the beach and not have to walk far. Loved sitting on the balcony and watching the waves. Being able to bring the dogs is why we chose this condo but there are so many other reasons to stay here as well. Dogs aren’t allowed on the beach but we found a dog park only minutes away with water access. What a fun little vacation!

We loved our stay here. Being so close to the beach was amazing. The condo was very clean which isn’t always the case with places that allow pets. I’m so grateful we were allowed to bring our fur babies! They loved sitting on the balcony. Parking is pretty tight so I’d recommend bringing the smallest vehicle possible if you are coming during the busy season. Our code to check in didn’t work for the door but Kim was quick to respond with a working code. I’d recommend saving her number in your phone just in case-I didn’t do that and it was a little stressful locating it after a long drive. I highly recommend this place and hope we get to stay again in the future!

Pleasantly surprised at how clean the unit was and the bed was so comfortable. Enjoyed our anniversary and got to bring our fur baby Lucy, with us. We watched dolphins and mobula rays from the balcony and the sunsets from our balcony were spectacular. The sunrise is blocked by the units beside ours but I was walking the beach every morning to video each sunrise. Highly recommend this condo and the owner is very quick to respond to any guestions you have

The place was very clean, and the furniture was nice. The bedroom was nice. Most things in the kitchen were great. The chairs on the balcony were awesome!! Some of the best chairs we have ever sat in!!! There was not a dvd player in there (even though the advertisement said there would be). The coffe pot was horrible. Needs to be replaced. The view was not the best. The dunes blocked some of the views of the beach. You do have beach access, however it was not easy getting to the beach. (You either had to walk through the dunes, or you had to walk out to the blacktop and then turn back to get on the pier to get to the beach). The wi-fi was absolutely horrible!! Also, the tv lost signal many, many times!!
