Welcome to our home away from home, our cabin is located in a perfect part of the secure and gated Pine Mountain lake gated community .1450 SF cabin is ideal to see Yosemite and around areas. Cabin is Equipped with a great kitchen to prepare nice meals for your family in a relaxing and comforting environment with open floor plan, Cabin has a 3 bed rooms and a loft. Relaxing views with high ceiling and a great place to sit back inside or outside at the deck and relax. The master bedroom has a queen and twin bed and master bath with tub/shower and toilet. Lower level has two bed rooms, has one queen and twin bed. The patio deck overlooks the backyard, and has deck furniture and a propane BBQ for your out door entertainment. Just walk in distance to the pine mountain lake. Groveland CA is a nice historical town. The area has many activities and has many things for a small town. There is a nice lake and very nice beaches too. Area also has a country club In the Pine Mountain Lake. We enjoy the food there in the country club and reasonable prices. also there are many things to do around the area , hiking , walks in the morning, tennis, lake, golf etc. Grocery store just two miles. Cabin has a very nice deck , overlooking the ,Mountain very relaxing setup. We enjoy sitting in the living room and looking outside with those big windows , its so relaxing. Living Room. Living room has large windows and nicely decorated , has large dining table and eight people can sit comfortably. Also there are tree bar stools setup in a very family friendly manner. Internet We do have cable internet , if you check email or just browse the net. Area The area looks pretty country style with rich trees and rich nature , yet you can get to a store in few minutes or to a gas station. Deer and wild birds and sometimes wild turkey we see them just crossing roads every now and then. Its an amazing the feeling how beautiful the nature is... You see Deer , wild turkey sometimes , lots of birds. Groveland Groveland is a very nice small town , Its has very nice market for groceries , has eating places , if you want Pizza or Chinese food or just coffee . Has very nice bars for a small drink. Pine mountain lake has a restaurant called Grill in the country club as well and Grill is just 5 minutes drive from the cabin.

My boyfriend and I had a great weekend with our friends at this little cabin. Everything was very clean but the house is super dated. The television and little radio did not work and a draft of cold air was constantly coming through the front door. But other than that it was perfect for our two nights. Thanks Zed!

good property and location but need upgrade
We stayed here with my family during our yosemite visit. The property was rustic and in good neighborhood. owner was well responsive and house/bed were neat. However, it really need some serious upgrade. The house was clean in general but lack a lot of 'must have' in a vacation rental such as paper napkins, kitchen towels or toiletries. The TV/cable was very basic and just have few channels to watch. Driveway lights were not working and frontyard/sideyards has tall grass which I felt was not safe. property

It is within walking distance of Pine Mountain Lake, just a few miles from Groveland town, and about 30 minutes from the yosemite valley entrance. If you are looking for a quiet peaceful getaway from the city noise, this is the right house. This house is large enough for a big family. A roomy place for a group in a quiet, well maintained community about an hour outside Yosemite. Because it is managed by a larger property association, do note that there are additional fees that come up for parking etc.
Overall a great stay and a cozy, well equipped home. We especially loved stargazing from the wrap-around porch. We had a great time - thank you Zed!

No loud music after 10pm, wifi does not work you have to pay for the entrance of each car $40 per car plus u have to buy the trash bags with the community $8 each. Their is no fire pit anywhere. It seemed impossible until we came across Zed and Dumi's listing for their rental in Groveland. Within a few hours we had booked with them and we are so grateful for their quick response time and for their help leading up to the trip.
The rental itself is within a gated community based around a lake, and as a guest you have to go through the singular front gate every time you want to enter. We had 4 cars that were able to be parked on the property easily. The front door is up a couple of steps, and once it opens up to the living room/dining room area you'll immediately be floored at how spacious it feels with the high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows. The living room has a very comfy couch and there is a small wall-mounted TV. There is limited internet access in the area since it's pretty rural, so be sure to download media before getting to the rental. Off the living/dining room through a sliding glass door is an outdoor patio, with a brand new gas grill and plenty of seating.
The dining room has a large table with enough room to seat all 7 of us. The kitchen, although dated, is generally well equipped. Two refrigerators, microwave, electric oven and stovetop, electric griddle, a blender, rice cooker, coffee maker, pots, pans, baking dishes, and plenty of dishes and silverware. There is a double-sink with a garbage disposal, and there's also a trash compactor. We ended up needing to go purchase more paper towels and dishwasher tablets, so be sure to add that to your packing list.
There are a total of six beds across 4 rooms. Downstairs there are two bedrooms: the first has a double, and the second has a double and a single bed. Upstairs the main bedroom has a double bed and a single bed, and in the loft area there's a single daybed with a roll-out trundle. There are two bathrooms will full shower over tubs (one upstairs and one downstairs), but you'll need to bring your own toiletries. There's also a laundry room with a washer/dryer, but we didn't have an opportunity to use them.
Overall we had a great time at the rental and we'd absolutely come back and stay here again. Zed and Dumi were incredibly generous with their time and have a wonderfully accommodating home. It was a spacious house tucked away in a quiet community and it really gave us a chance to recharge and reconnect.

It was dusty inside, carpet was dirty and appliances are old. The burners on stove would stop working while you are cooking. Upstair bedrooms were warm while downstair bedrooms were freezing when the AC was on. The utensil/plates/pots/pan were sticky when we got there. Overall it is a rundown property

I stayed in this property whit my family and I can say that was ok,but I also would suggest the owner to update some things in the cabin,for example the sliding door"s screen is broken and the flies get in, the barbecue is not working properly anymore, there's some floor tiles in the main door that needs to reinstall, the stove is electric and I think needs to change it to gas stove because in the last day we were there in the morning. the power went off so we were unable to prepare breakfast, the main door lock needs to fix it, it doesn't feel safe, also one of the sliding door lock is not working properly, looks like they are not big deals but if the owner take care of this ,it would make a big difference.,outside of that I think the rest was fine, the lake is great, the water is very clean to swiming with the kids.

Beware: dogs are allowed at this rental but NOT ALLOWED anywhere on the lake.. If we had realized this ahead of time we probably would not have brought our dog.

Charming cabin in a warm community
What started out as a 3-day surprise birthday mountain getaway for my mother, partner and our 8yr old turned into a very relaxing 8-day adventure away from home. A large part on the gracious and very hospitable host! They were extremely accommodating after I decided to extend our stay in their cabin TWICE throughout the week. I highly recommend them as hosts and this charming cabin (they also have another lake cabin location they suggested to me). My family and I will definitely be back!

Staying at Groveland to visit Yosemite
Groveland is very cute town located in the way to Yosemite coming from the West. We had a nice stay. The cabin sleeps 8 people easily. The property manager was accessible and communicative. Things you should know: the house is located in a gated neighborhood, and you will need to be in line on your way in even after you have registered. It is also not an easy in an out. There is a cute lake nearby. The cabin is old and it is difficult to maintain the temperature of the second floor relative to the first floor. Cleanliness was OK.

Nice short stay
The cabin is great, it has everything you need to prepare a meal. Plenty of space to just relax, and it was very clean. About the neighborhood is also great. The drive to the lake is not long maybe 10mins. The only down part was that at the lake there is no dogs allow so that was a bummer. Also I think the check in process at the gate could be better, because if you got out of the neighborhood then you need to come in again to the main gate, it does not matter if you already have the visitor pass you need to pass thru again the whole line to get into the property. So it is kinda annoying that even when you have payed already you need to pass again thru the whole thing, and the waiting line can be very long. There is another line that is faster, but you have to have the resident card holder and that is not provided in the rental.

False Advertisement
My stay here could have been way better. The pictures of the house didn’t match what it actually looked like in person. The place was dirty. The couches and kitchen were dusty as well as not really having cleaning products. We had a lot of problems with people sitting in their cars in front of the house as if we were being spied on. If I were able to get some money back or a discount for another stay that would be well appreciated because this place was dirty and not well stocked or givin well directions and communication.

Needs a little updating but met our needs. Owner communicated promptly. If staying in Summer months, the owner would need to turn air conditioner on 2 days before arrival because the upstairs could not have been slept in the 1st night we were there. Luckily, we only needed downstairs. After 1st night, it was cooled down upstairs.
Just a pointer that we were not aware of and do not remember seeing in contract: there is a $31.00 charge for renters when you come to gate and also you can only enter through that lane every time you come into subdivision. Sometimes you might be in line for a little while if new renters are checking in. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

Large-sized cabin in a beautiful location of Yosemite gate from the town of Groveland
An amazing big cabin for a large family, you will enjoy your stay, including is 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms ready to accommodate a family of 11, the living room is medium-sized but enough to space you in the sofa in some chairs and seating on the floor, the kitchen is medium-sized but you will feel a little crowded if kids are running or walking by the aisle or if your aunts are in a rush with some delicious plates, please do everything careful and warn your family that you are heading with a hot pot to the table. Other thing is if you are booking on the cold season, make sure don't use the showers at night and try to use the warm water less than in the day because the cold temperatures will make your showering cold which you don't wish to get out in the middle of your shampoo and bubbles hahaha, everything else was just wonderful, a good time to spend playing card games and table games as well, tv is a little confuse to start on but you will make it with a few tactics, also the wifi is free but I didn't understand well the "after each 1gb you use will be charge $10 each" make sure to contact the owner before using it, at all it was awesome to stay there, although there was not snowing this year for the Xmas weekend as me and family were expected to, but maybe next year the weather will give us a white Xmas!!!!....

Clean, quiet and close to Yosemite.
It was everything we wanted it to be. The town was very quaint with good food and friendly service. Nice community pool and the cabin deck had a great view of the stars at night. We even saw deer in the neighborhood.

Well maintained, nice cabin.
This is nice property, reasonable distance to Yosemite. Occasionally long lines to enter the gated community, and trash dropoff is a bit of a headache (ask at the front gate about trash disposal the first time you enter, otherwise the whole process will take a while upon checkout). House itself is pretty nice, well maintained and spacious. We had 9 adults + 1 child and had sufficient space.
