About this house rental
**** We will begin taking reservation on November 25th 2023 for the 2024 season. **** This 3000 square foot home sits on 2 lots in the prestigious Cove Pointe subdivision. There are 5 bedrooms and 3 baths and a large open concept living area. There is a large wrap around deck with impressive views of the Big Creek area of the lake. The house faces west so you will see some of the most stunning sunsets that Norris can offer. The house offers 1 queen bed, 3 king beds, and 2 set of bunk beds for the kids. Linens and pillows are provided. There are 3 flat screen TV’s with Direct TV: one in the Master suite, one on the main level, and one in the bunk room. Each TV has a DVD player attached and there are plenty of DVD’s for you to use on those days when you just want to relax and watch a movie. The house is fully stocked with dishes, silver ware, and cooking utensils. In addition there are the usual items, including a toaster, coffee maker, blender, and microwave. On the main house deck you will find a gas grills to suit your outdoor cooking needs. The house also has 2 refrigerators, one in the kitchen and the other in the pantry off the kitchen. The fridge in the kitchen has an Ice maker but there are also lots of ice trays to make more. Trash pickup is Wednesdays and Saturdays. If you don't check out on one of those days your remaining trash will be handled by the cleaning crew at the end of your stay so there is no need to haul it out yourself! A few steps down from the house brings you to the fire pit where you can enjoy the end of the day by watching the sun drift behind the Cross Mountains and reminisce about the day’s activities out on the water. There is a owners house on the property just down from the fire pit (not occupied during rental reason). It has 2 more decks for you to enjoy some leisure time closer to the lake. This property features over 400 feet of lake frontage. The dock has 1 covered slip, a diving board, and 2 jet ports. There is room for 2 boats and 2 waverunners. The dock has power, a mini fridge, and lights to do that all important prep work for next day’s activities. An unusual bonus is the cell phone service at the house and down at the dock. It is decent for Verizon and AT&T. T Mobile and Sprint not so good. I know you will love this property as much as I do.

House was very clean, check in and out were simple, description of house was spot on. 2 refrigerators was very nice! Plenty of space on deck and dock. Would stay there again!

We have been coming to Norris for a couple years and this is our favorite side of the Lake. The evening sunsets were amazing! It was easy to get in and out as we brought our own boats. We were able to speak directly to the property manager prior to arriving who helped answer all our questions. The kitchen was stocked with every type of pot/pan, knifes, enough plates/cups, etc. The house itself is much larger and nicer than the pictures show. I would definitely come back to this house and stay again!

This property is wonderful for a large family. The listing was accurate and the house was clean. There was very limited cell service, but it was not an issue for us at all.
The property owner was extremely helpful leading up to our stay and recommended a great marina for boat rental nearby.

This house is large, has a very large easy to navigate driveway, and was very well stocked.
Pros:
-2 full size refrigerators
-Plenty of cookware, dishes, drinkware
-Plenty of seating for dining and lounging
-Very spacious. We had 8 adults and were not crowded or on top of each other
-Satellite TV with DVDs to keep littles or young adults entertained
-Easy to navigate stairs to water
-2 dryers
-Mini fridge on the dock
-Owner communicates well and sets expectations up front for his house
-This lot has an insane amount of space for cars and trailers and the driveway doesn't make you feel like you are falling off a cliff.
Cons:
-Dock close to main waterway so boat gets knocked around a bit. Nothing major but make aure you have enough bouys for all sides of your boat
-No door on the bunk bedroom. Our girls hung a sheet using command strip hooks which was an easy solution without causing any damage to the walls.
We come to Norris about 5 times a summer and this house definitely stands out from others mainly for size. This house is great for families with little kids and also can comfortably accomodate about 10-12 adults as well, which is hard to do at Norris. I think the listing said you could also rent the carriage house, which I think could accomodate another 2-4 adults. I wasn't in the carriage house so no idea how much space is in there.
We would definitely rent this property again, and if Michael is ever considering to sell, I'd love to connect!

The layout of the home is wonderful. Bath on each level. Three bedrooms now have king size beds! Stairs to lake were very nice, gradual and not steep

This was the first time we stayed at a place where we all agreed that it was nicer than the pictures! So often, it's the other way around. Serendipity was a beautiful house on a stunning lake setting. The house is west of the lake so the sunsets were amazing. Sitting at the fire pit and roasting marshmallows while the sun was going down is a memory that will stay with us for a long time. The lack of internet and spotty cell service was a plus for us. It helped reinforce the down time we all needed.

We had a great time on the lake during our family vacation. The house was nice, plenty of room on the dock, and the drive-thru area next to the driveway had plenty of room for our boat trailers and cars as well. We plan to rent it again as soon as we can get back down there.

We recently stayed for a couples trip weekend. The property was great and clean and in a great location in Big Creek. The one caution I would have is that the bunk room does not have a bedroom door to it, it is private though.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this property and each visit was great! The rooms and layout of the house accommodates our 4 adult couples and two small children. They’ve also upgraded the dock and added a fire pit.

The house and location are great and the upgraded food storage space, extra fridge and two dryers were much appreciated! The house is located close to several marinas, just inside a quiet cove. This was our fourth stay and we enjoyed it as much as always!

The location was amazing! Sunsets were breathtaking. The property owner was very responsive. House was clean, no bugs, not musty at all. Great sunsets. No internet, and hotspots don't work, so plan for teenage activities for down times, but those were few and far between with the great deck/cove.
