Sliding patio doors in the living room and bedroom afford breathtaking views of Port San Juan and the Pacific Rim Park beyond. This 2013 built 1 bedroom Eco Tec cottage comfortably sleeps four with a queen bed in the bedroom and a queen deluxe sofa bed in the living room. Offers a full bathroom and well equipped kitchen with dishwasher. Washer and dryer. WiFi, cable tv and telephone. Features a covered deck with amazing water views, BBQ, swing chair and propane fire pit. The front garden with fire pit enjoys panoramic views and afternoon sun. The outdoor activities in the area are abundant and world class. Botanical Beach, Avatar Grove, the Juan de Fuca Marine Trail and the West Coast Trail are popular favourites.

A spectacular place to reconnect with nature. We love the ocean whether east coast or west. So enjoyed the peace and quiet and the bed is super comfortable. Every amenity you could want is provided and the unit is spotlessly clean. The views from the deck are breathtaking. It was a most memorable stay.

Our family had a wonderful time in Port Renfrew! The cabin was clean and well set up. The outdoor mats on the patio smell very strongly of smoke and mold, which did lessen our enjoyment of the beautiful deck. With this small change I would happily return.

Stayed here for just one night as a pit stop in Port Renfrew as we explored the western coast of the island. Would have loved to spend another night and would definitely stay again. The property and its amenities were just as expected and just what we needed. I must say that Port Renfrew is a very small village and we found it difficult to find a place to eat as many restaurants are not open daily despite what Google tells you. My advice is to come equiped with groceries from out if town (Victoria, Duncan) or you may run the risk of becoming a hangry monster trying to find a place to eat in town.

Great place. Loved the location, the little yard was perfect for letting the dogs out, the huge deck and the the washer and dryer were a fantastic added bonus. Clare was very quick with responses to any of our questions which was very appreciated. We will be back for sure.

We found the cabin clean and well equipped.
Misses were poor reading lights for night reading .Also, toilet tank fill valve failed during our stay. Just a minor routine maintenance item

My friend and I came out to port Renfrew to do some hiking. The cabin was perfect!

Wonderful stay. Very clean and well equipped. Fabulous location. So much to see and do! We arrived in the dark and it was a bit tricky to find. Make sure you have all the details to hand, no cell. Bring groceries, not much open in the winter. Power went out the second night but we found plenty of candles. Thank you!!

It was good. The rental was clean, well stocked, plenty of space for 2 people. Wonderful location to experience Port Renfrew.

Enjoyable even in a storm and without power for nearly 24 hours. Thankfully the cabin was equipped with candles, a camp stove with butane, a working BBQ, was well insulated to keep some of the heat in and had games to keep up busy throughout the power loss.. That being said, I was grateful that I had three LED lanterns in my car to assist with illumination in the cabin. Overall, an excellent place to call home for a little getaway and I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Clare’s property mid-November for a quick family getaway. The cottage itself is nicely laid out and very clean although a bit small for two adults, two kids and a dog, but we made it work. Kitchen is well stocked and the view is incredible. Aside from a few very loud neighbours, it was a quiet little neighbourhood and super close to botanical beach. The outdoor fire pit was really enjoyable but please remember to bring your own wood;) I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing view, could have stayed for days just looking out over the water. Kitchen was incredibly functional and a delight. No hassles, just a nice quiet break from everything. Oh and great books, loved it!!

Beautifully located with water and forest views in well maintained quiet complex. Cabin was the perfect size for the two of us and our little dog. Extremely well equipped kitchen and well designed layout allowed for a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. We will return for sure!

The little general store has only 11 am until 7pm hours incase you need anything!

The cabin was clean and equipped with everything one could need for an enjoyable stay. The large deck overlooking the water was perfect for morning coffee or afternoon drinks. The cabin is centrally located to see all the sights around Port Renfrew and a short drive to Botanical Beach. I’m already planning my next stay!

Great location for fishing out of Port Renfrew
Stayed overnight prior to early morning meet up with fishing guide launching from Port Renfrew Marina. Clean, well stocked, well maintained unit to comfortably host a 4 person stay. Added benefit for EV vehicles is that the unit is closed to the EV DC fast charging station located down the road at the public library.

Super peaceful
Really enjoyed our stay. We pretty much only stayed on the back deck with the fire pit the whole evening. The house is super clean and decorated nicely. Tons of books on every subject and a good variety of games and entertainment available as well.
