THE SPACE This listing is for one half of a two-unit duplex built over 100 years ago. The first floor has a living room, dining room, kitchen and small powder room. A unique Y staircase leads up to the two newly remodeled private suites on the second floor. The spacious King suite features a memory foam bed, reading nook, and a large bathroom with an oversized walk-in shower, clawfoot tub, and double vanity. *Please note that there is a curtain dividing the master bedroom from master bathroom. There is no door.* The King bedroom has stair access to the cozy third floor loft, which has a small sectional sofa, fuzzy beanbags, and a second LED smart TV equipped with Roku, Netflix, and Sling TV (a cable replacement app). There is also a 2-person air mattress available for extra sleeping space in the loft if needed. *Please note that the loft is only accessible through the King room, and there is no bathroom on the 3rd floor.* Across the hall from the King suite is the Queen suite, which is a tiny, private space with an en-suite bathroom. The bedroom has a queen memory foam mattress and a closet. The adjoining bathroom has a full shower with great water pressure, and lots of designer touches throughout. *Please note that there is an open doorway between the bedroom and bathroom. There is no door.* The living room on the first floor features a slouchy lounge sectional sofa that’s great for relaxing, an 50” LED Smart TV with Roku, Netflix, and Sling, and a decorative fireplace. The dining room is modest with a 6-person oval table, fun lighting and vintage touches. The kitchen space was designed with a modern farmhouse style in mind and is fully equipped for cooking. It features a slide-in gas range, farm sink, full fridge & dishwasher, small microwave, and marble countertops. A Nespresso machine with pods is available to you during your stay! GUEST ACCESS Guests have access to the whole home, including part of the unfinished basement where the laundry machines are located. There is an asphalt area behind the duplex that is not part of this listing, but accessible if needed. OTHER IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE: - This is a private townhome comprising one half of a duplex. - There is no backyard area available for guests. - There is no off-street parking in this listing. Parking guide for free street parking within a few blocks of our home will be sent to guests prior to check-in. - There are many stairs at this home, some of which have open risers. It is not recommended for unsupervised children. - Shoes are not permitted in the home’s 3rd floor loft because of its white carpet.
