Enjoy this beautiful home with a private 1/2 acre yard and plenty of off-street parking! A three minute walk to the private, lifeguarded Middlesex Beach. After you get used to the uncrowded beach, you will never want to go to a public beach again!!! Middlesex Beach has beautiful sand, award winning lifeguards, no crowds, and alcohol is permitted!! Surf Fishing is allowed before 10am and after 5pm. This 7 year old house with recent addition is available for a Saturday to Saturday rental and is just a short block and a half to the beach. The house has a newly added large screen porch with table and conversational seating. Enjoy the WIFI throughout the house. Relax in the living room with a large flat screen TV, blue ray DVD player and a queen pull-out sofa. Middlesex Beach is comprised of dead end streets, so there is no thru traffic. This allows for a nice enjoyable community perfect for taking walks or letting the kids take bike rides. Middlesex Beach is a private beach so a beach tag is provided and required to enjoy the beach. The Beach tag only allows for 22 people to be on the beach at a time. There are plenty of attractions within walking distance (Cottage Cafe Restaurant, The Boathouse Bar, Pizzeria, Ice Cream, McDonald's, Chinese Food, Subway, Fins Restaurant , Dunkin Donuts, Liquor Store, Walgreens, etc) and the Bethany Beach Boardwalk is just a short bike ride away. Our stay at Sean and Dana's house was fantastic! The place was spotlessly clean, and everything we needed was provided. It easily accommodated our group with ample space to move around. Sean and Dana were incredibly responsive and pleasant to communicate with, addressing all our questions promptly. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us. This home met our needs so well! We had our extended family ranging in age from 11 months to 87 years! Comfy beds, lots of room, fully stocked kitchen, private beach! Highly recommend!

This property fit the needs of our large family with enough bedrooms for all. The game room was a big hit and the short walk to the beach was just what we were hoping for. The house was well stocked and we appreciated the bikes and chairs available for beach use. Everything was clean and well maintained.

This was our second family trip with a large group to Sean's home in Middlesex Beach, DE (between Bethany Beach & South Bethany). The home is situated in a quiet neighborhood that is a 3 minute walk from a private (NON CROWDED) beach. The neighborhood itself is perfect for bike riding with kids, morning/evening walks, etc.
The house is clean, roomy, and big enough that our group never felt cramped. Sean is one of the best property owners we've come across in terms of communication and ease of rental.
We highly recommend this home for a larger family vacation, groups, etc, and we have already booked our trip for 2024.

This was a perfect space for our large family get together! The kitchen was well stocked with every imaginable appliance and tool needed to prepare an amazing Thanksgiving feast. Lots of space for everyone to be comfortable and for the kids to play. We were able to get over to the boardwalk which was a very short drive but it was too cold to enjoy the beach although we did walk down to see the water. This was really a great space and an amazing location!

Sean & Dana,
Sean and Dana's home was the perfect home for our fall trip. The home was perfect for our large group and was really equipped for all our needs. Some of the biggest highlights were the fact there was 3 master bedrooms, 2 kitchens and the big game room. I would highly recommend this house to anyone, the pictures don't do justice. Sean and Dana also accommodated our last minute requests and they were respectful. I would highly recommend them and their place :)

We were a group of 17 High School friends who get together to celebrate milestone birthdays…this house was perfect for us. We mostly ate in so the two kitchens and two refrigerators were filled. We gathered in the upper living area and deck. Enjoyed the corn hole in the garage. Short walk to the beach with chairs from the shed was so handy. Thanks to the host for providing linens and a well appointed home. Everyone raved how perfect the house was for our group.

This property is amazing. The pictures do not do it justice at all! From the screened porch to the open deck, this house just keeps going and going. The game room hosted all us (21) for ping pong tournament quite nicely. Tons of board games both old and new. The bedrooms were spacious. The lower living area gives a homey feel while the upstairs area is bright and airy and more modern. (I loved the steps going upstairs).
Sean was very attentive to our needs and questions from the moment we made reservations thru the time we left. Getting to the beach was a breeze and the beaches were marvelous. A fully stocked shed is an understatement. We were even treated to an awesome thunderstorm that we watched from the screened porch.
You must look in every cabinet in the kitchen because if they don’t have it then you don’t need it. We were still finding cool gadgets at the end of our week. The beds were comfortable and plenty of extra pillows. Plenty of blankets that were so soft.
If you are thinking about reserving this property, you will not be disappointed.

Great spot for lots of extended family to stay and visit from other nearby properties. We’ll equipped kitchens and shed with beach essentials, and lots of space to spread out. Once we swept the back patio and got rid of spiderwebs on the furniture, this became a pleasant shaded hangout in the afternoon. Grills we’re not clean, so we didn’t use them.

Amazing beach vacation!
We stayed here with two families and additional friends, and the house was perfect! Great location, lots of space, three masters, two kitchens, a big screened-in porch and deck, and the incredible game room! The house is well-equipped and even has extra bikes, beach chairs, and tons of games.
Sean is very responsive and easy to reach. We have already booked for next year!!

It had great proximity to the private beach, the ocean being a special treat for the grandchildren who had never seen it before. Amazing property
The house was fantastic! There are alot of stairs (3 floors) but with bedroom options on every level, we assigned rooms based on ability to climb. The gameroom was a huge hit and we spent lots of time on the lovely screened porch and upper deck. Location to the private beach was great, quiet streets for strolling, and close to the farm stand and lots of eating options. There are so many great things about this house - beautiful home, lots of space to spread out, 2 laundry rooms, 2 kitchens, drink cooler, everything you could need and some you didn't even know you wanted. Also the host was the most responsive I've ever worked with. Thanks for an awesome vacation!

Good Family Time
This house is spacious and plenty of room for our family of seventeen. The house is decorated beautifully and the seating is comfortable. The grandkids spent a lot of time in the game room when they weren't at the beach. The beach is a short easy walk. We enjoyed going to the beach at different times of day and evening. Having two outside showers and a water hose was great for cleaning off after the beach and keeping sand out of the house. Everyone enjoyed our vacation week. Looking forward to returning next summer.

This was our first time in Delaware for most of us. Quaint little town with lots of shops and restaurants. Short trip to Ocean City for more fun and games and dining. Accommodations were just what we needed. Clean and the kitchens were well stocked with utensils, plates, glasses and cups.

Our family of 17 spent an extended weekend to celebrate our anniversary and Easter together. Entry was easy. We needed Sean's help on occasion and he was quick to respond and helped in every way. We all were pleased with the openness and spacious areas that we could get around in both houses. Areas were neat and clean. Lots of beach decor. The kitchenette in the original house was not adequate for cooking as described so everything was taken up stairs to larger kitchen which had great appliances. The newer house had plenty of kitchenware to cook and share meals together. The game room was a big hit with both adults and kids. We had plenty of places to hide our Easter eggs outside in groups for our different aged children. Bedrooms and bathrooms were more than adequate. One shower curtain was torn and falling down. Making our own beds was OK except it was difficult doing the bunks. Both dishwashers were full of dishes not put away and one had dirty dishes not washed at all. Drink cooler in kitchenette was not running until we got instructions from Sean. A note on top of it would have been helpful. We loved the deck when weather permitted!! Some small items were not supplied like extra toilet paper, paper towels or trash bags. You will be using the near-by Dollar General store!! Restaurants in the area were very good. The beach was clean and beautiful. We do wish upon leaving that when we needed to gather the linen to be washed that it had included the quilts/bed spreads also between users. So much more than we anticipated!
This property was perfect! We have stayed at many vacation homes and locations, and never experienced such a clean, organized, and well-equipped home as 27 Errett. There were enough dishes, cutlery, kitchen equipment, etc. to ensure that you could walk in with only your clothing and personal items, and have no further needs. You could walk to some restaurants, a deli, a great farm market, and a fish market/takeout restaurant. The private beach spoiled all of us for any future beach locations. I can't say enough positives about this location. The hosts were super responsive anytime they were needed. Our entire group of well-traveled adults from both coasts and major metros wanted to book immediately for the following year.

The checkin process was easy, they just give you the instructions to enter the code for the front door. The first impression as I entered the house was that it was a lot bigger and spacious than I expected. I think the pictures does not do justice as to the scale of this house. We were 3 families, 15 people. we occupied all the rooms. There was air hockey, ring/hook, corn hole, ping pong and mini basketball in the garage. Bed rooms were nicely decorated and new sheets for pillows and bed were ready at the foot of the bed. There are two kitchens, first floor kitchen did not have a stove, all the cooking was done on the 2nd floor kitchen, There were plenty of dishes, glasses, cups, utensils, pots and pans... They also have microwave, toaster oven, and mixers. There is dollar general, china express, fish market, surf shop, ice cream shop, cottage cafe, dunkin donuts and mcdonalds within short walking distance. Lot of places close early like 8pm or 9pm and they were all very busy. China Express opens at 3:30pm I think I called at 4:30pm they was a recording saying they were too busy to even take new orders. We called back next day at 3:30pm and we were able to put our order in. The house outdoor shower was great after the beach, nice hot water too. The shed had plenty of everything. Lot of the body boards are falling apart but we brought our own, Plenty of beach chairs, they were about 5-6 umbrellas, But only three worked well. Beach was a short walk from the house. Many of us walked back and forth for bathroom and food break between the house and the beach. There were clothing hangers next to the shed and washer/dryer(1st and 2nd floor) to clean your towels and cloths. We were lucky to have 5 days of sun. Highly recommend this place.
