About this condo rental
Located in Kihei, this attractive condo for £341 per night is a great choice for your next break. This condo just received a massive remodel in 2020. It also was equipped with brand-new furnishings. We designed this unit to be clean and modern, but still have a vibe of the islands. We purchased and set up this 3 bedroom, 2 bath condo primarily so that our two daughters could grow up and have Maui be a big part of their lives. Our program is that we load up our girls, ages 9 months and 13 in the morning at our home in the Columbia Gorge, fly out of Portland International and arrive in Kahului in early afternoon. We then rent a car, load up the suitcases and head to Kihei. My wife and I typically bring along a sibling and/or friend and their family because the condo can easily accommodate 2 families. Once we arrive at Koa Resort, we simply enter a door code for the condo and we're in. Then it's a mad dash to dig out swimsuits and either head to the beach across the street or the gigantic pool on the grounds. My wife and I typically take the loft master bedroom. It has its own bathroom and a king size bed with a tempurpedic foam mattress. My sister and her husband set up camp in the downstairs bedroom that has a queen size bed. The palms right outside its window make for a cool effect, especially as the trade winds rustle their leaves. The kids all quickly begin squabbling over who gets which bunk. All 4 bunks have memory foam mattresses and all beds in the house have mattress and pillow protectors that get cleaned between every use along with every scrap of bedding. Suitcases get unpacked haphazardly and long pants and shoes get replaced with swimsuits and bare feet. My twenty something year old sister gets the couch in the living room. The fast movers in the crew (kids) round up the easiest pushover adult they can find and immediately b-line it to the pool. Barring the Grand Wailea, the pool is probably one of the coolest kid pools in all of Maui. From the bridge to the hot tub is shallow enough for 2-5 year olds to wade in. This makes things WAY more relaxing for the adult(s) supervising. Behind the pool is shuffleboard, and showers disguised as bamboo are incorporated into the landscaping. After about a half an hour the adults get unpacked and make a game plan for gearing up the condo for the trip. Fortunately, there is a ton of shopping close to the condo. We throw soft racks on top of the rental car, load up some surfboards and then round up the kids. We usually don't bother drying them off from the pool and throw them in the car and head toward Kalama beach. The wind swell makes perfect little waves for kids or learning how to surf here. A couple of adults now run to Safeway for supplies, while the rest of us kick it on the beach and take turns pushing the kids into waves. After about an hour or two when the shopping is done we all head back to the condo. We now unpack groceries, people take showers, and we plan dinner. Even though the kitchen is freshly remodeled, we typically barbecue outside in one of the common areas. The trade winds and tropical landscaping make it hard not to. There is also ping pong and tennis right next to the gas grills that the kids mess around with while we cook. Usually the men get stuck grilling with some of the kids, while the moms mix up Pina Coladas back at the condo. They are kicking it on the huge lanai while the little kids watch a quick video on the new giant LED Smart TV in the living room. The bunk room also has a smart TV so kids can chill out and watch netflix or Disney+ after a long day in the sun During dinners we usually plan the following day. There are copies of Maui guidebooks in the condo to help you do the same and you'll quickly learn there is always something for everyone in Maui. Our familie's focus is being active and the ocean, but even after living in Maui and countless follow on trips, we always find something new. Know that kiteboarding, windsurfing, surfing, stand up paddling, whale watching, snorkeling, sunbathing, shopping, restaurants, and bars are all within a couple of miles of the condo. We can't wait to go back and if you stay at Unit 3N hope you feel the same. Pros: It was a Sweet surprise to receive a goody basket, Key chains and welcoming card. Which i loved thank you! The place looked spacious and comfortable for 10 of us ladies. The beds were comfortable to sleep on. The info given by Lew was very helpful for checking in too.
Cons: Outside metal door handle was loose and fell off when we arrived. We tried to put it back but didn't work. At least the Security door inside worked. The toilet pressure was low so we had to add water almost every time we needed to flush or else it wouldn't go down. The AC unit in the living room was dirty so I went and cleaned it. We did turn in the parking pass forms but never got any parking passes.
Besides all of that we did enjoy our time in Maui. This was still a great place to rest our head after a long day of travel.

Very convenient and comfortable accommodations for family of eight. Enjoyed numerous beaches of southern and western Maui. It was nice to find accessories for our beach outings at the condo. Good restaurants and stores nearby. Lovely grounds and beautiful pool and hot tub. This unit definitely provided us with a satisfying and memorable Hawaiian vacation.

It’s been years since we took a family trip and I took my time booking a condo because it was important that we were all comfortable and the pool area was roomy as we knew we’d spend lots of time there.
Everything was great and better than expected. Condo is roomy and had everything we needed for our 3-day stay. Parking was right outside the unit and the pool is huge and has a shallow area for the kids and deeper area for adults to enjoy and not have the little ones all up on them. We even used the BBQ grill and ping pong tables in the recreation area.
Property is close to the beach/ocean and just a quick trip to the grocery store. We were also pleasantly surprised to find a basket of goodies and wonderful welcome card upon our arrival. Highly recommend!

The property was absolutely perfect! It housed a group of seven adults with fun options for entertainment (pool, foosball, and ping pong). We spent our nights at the pool which was peaceful and big enough for us and other guests to have our own areas! The condo itself is minutes away from the beach where we would walk in the mornings. We had everything we needed, especially supplies for the beach the owner provided (boogie boards, snorkels, surfboard, beach towels). Overall the property was perfect for the seven of us with a peaceful patio porch view and short walk from the beach, thank you!

The location of Kihei is ideally centralized in Maui with the condo at Koa Resort a nice property with a multitude of amenities such as pool, hot tub, bbq, tennis court, table tennis, car washing area, and location across the street from the beach. The beach could be nicer but it's rarely packed and the condo comes well equipped with lots of beach gear. We even left our beach umbrella. The manager owners are really responsive and do what they can including providing a cutting board when needed and a nice assortment of welcome snacks.
The only downsides we experienced was the loss of wifi from Spectrum that was a Kihei wide phenomenon and needing to reset the wifi router a couple of times after Spectrum said it was fixed. The couch and love seat shown in the photographs have seen better times though they are still functional. It would also be nice to have some blinds or drapes between the balcony(lanai) and the living room as the setting sun can shine incredibly intensely as there's no privacy during the day or night as anyone on the outside can look into the condo. Being on the second floor can be a climb if you have elderly in your party but it also limits what people can see inside.
All in all the property was good and near the parking lot making loading and unloading easy. The managers were excellent and very responsive at all times. Given the chance we'd probably stay here again if we came back to visit Maui again and would recommend this unit to others

My family stayed at this location and you really enjoyed it. It is within walking distance to the beach but that beach is very full of coral and rocks. This kind of has an amazing pool and the kids really enjoyed it. The condo was really meant for families which made it ideal for our family. We really liked Lew and he was very quick with communicating.

Overall a perfect property for a family. The inside was very modern and clean. There was a well stocked kitchen, a great balcony to enjoy and beds for everyone.
The condo area had a great spot for BBQ and some games and the pool area was great for the kids. Very quiet area and well maintained. It's location is a good walk away from shops and restaurants so we ended up driving almost everywhere, but it's a very short car ride to everything you need.
Highly recommended for anyone with a larger group or even 2 families!

We loved our stay at the Koa Resort! The property was beautiful and the pool and hot tub were amazing and the property managers were also amazing with very quick and helpful responses. The property is located just across the street from the beaches. There is a great pool area for everyone to enjoy, large enough for adults to be on the deep end and the kids in the shallow with plenty of space in between.
Located 2 minutes down the road from all the amenities you need to get through your vacation. All new appliances, lots of room for food. Air conditioning through out works great, a bit warmer in the loft but still very comfortable on those hot days. Lots of towels for the beach and lots of towels for showers.
Outdoor bbq area was great for grilling all your meat, ping ping and foosball there as well.
We loved the place for a large group and will book it again.

We had a great week long stay with our 5 kids ranging ages 5-19. I was worried everyone might not have enough space but we found there was plenty of room and privacy for everyone. Ac worked great, everything in bathrooms and kitchen nice and functional. Loved the double shower head upstairs. We loved the beach gear and snacks on arrival. The pool is maybe the best hotel/ condo pool I’ve ever experienced. I would definitely book again! Only downside is slight distance to restaurants/ our favorite beaches but we knew that when we booked.

I don’t know where to begin. The host I guess. He was incredibly kind and really helpful. He went above and beyond in our unique situation even though he didn’t have to. I couldn’t be thankful enough. On to the unit. It was super clean, and exactly as described. It was very well stocked with beach chair and sand toys to all the pots and pans you’d need. Beds were comfy and my two girls (5 and 8) loved the bunk beds. It was more than spacious enough. I really have 0 complaints. Will definitely stay here again if it’s available for our next trip.
The grounds were very well kept and the pool area is perfect. The pool varies from 2’ to 9’ in depth. The hot tub quickly turned into a fantastic meeting spot to make new friends and share our experiences. We had 5 very rare and unfortunate days of rain during our 8 nights stay. But it didn’t slow us down. Pool was open rain or shine. All in all we had a fantastic experience. Thanks Lew!

This property was just what we were hoping for. It was comfortable and easy, and our host was so welcoming. This rental has everything a family might need. We had ages range 12-90 and everyone was comfortable. We did a lot of cooking at home and easily walked to the beach nearby. That big dinner table is so beautiful, but we spent a lot of time on the deck enjoying the breezes and gazing at stars. Thank you Lew for an amazing week. ❤️

We had a wonderful stay at this condo in Kihei. The condo was clean, and well stocked with pans, dishes, etc. We appreciated the use of some beach toys, chairs, and towels that have been left. We enjoyed grilling at the common area of the complex. Lew was very great and easy to communicate with and answered any questions or needs that we had. The parking at the condo was very easy, the one issue we had was that the address given is on Kihei road, but that is not where you go in to park. Maybe I missed that on my instructions to arrive, but the parking is along Kulanihakoi St. This is not a big deal, once you figure it out you know where to go. The beds were comfortable and the a/c fan units were great to keep the air moving and the temp. nice. I would stay at this unit again and would recommend it to friends! Mahalo!

We had great communication with the manager as we arrived for our 10 day stay during a storm without power. We had a heads up as well as candles and a flashlight to help us get settled. There were also other nice touches like a lit Christmas tree, an amazing welcome basket of Hawaiian treats, and all the things we needed for our stay like a cooler, chairs, and beach towels. The cupboard was stocked with seasonings and a great blender! Guests have also left shampoos and such to share. There was a great starter kit for soaps, paper towels, and laundry detergent. There are brand new bbqs to use. The location is great and close. We loved Kihei and all that it had to offer. Found lots of restaurants and things to do, like the Friday town party, shopping, and beaches. We did a run for supplies at Safeway for snacks, breakfast, and a couple of dinners and we were set for poolside or beach side fun and some meals out!
Only recommendation would be to update the welcome binder with best places to visit or see and some bbq tools. Perfect location and so much fun!

My family and several friends stayed for 2 weeks. It's only short 25 minute or so drive from the airport and parking is easy with large a parking lot. We found it to be more or less as it was portrayed in the photos. Clean and ready for us. it was spacious enough and slept us all comfortably. The property manager was easy to work with and responded quickly to inquiries. we had zero hassles. There are beautiful beaches just across the street and the pool makes a great place to chill out at the end of the day. There is a Gazebo with a ping pong table, fooseball table, tables chairs, and BBQ's. We often would make use of the BBQ's and it gave us a great place to visit with some of our other friends that were staying in another unit. It really is a pretty great place that offers a lot of amenities at a great price.

Perfect spot for our family! The property is great with the pool/hot tub and tennis courts, ping pong.. so close to a great beach where we could see sea turtles every day (tip: they blend in with the rock wall!). It was a short 45 minute drive to Lahaina. The owner was very responsive if we had any questions. Highly recommend!

My two sons and their families and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Kihei. We loved the location as we could get to a variety of beaches. The first morning when we were all exhausted it was lovely to find that we could walk to a little beach just 10 minutes away and the children could enjoy the ocean in a nice little cove. (Great for the littlest vacationer).
Lew was very helpful and considerate in making our stay enjoyable.
My only suggestion would be that it would be super helpful to have a drying rack or something available (on the lanai?) for towels and bathing suits. We tried to prevent dampness and sand on the floors inside but we had wet bathing suits and damp towels and no place to hang them.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. We were just across the street from the beach, making it easy and accessible. Our hosts provided all manner of beach gear, and towels to enhance our visit. It was a comfortable space, even with 8 adult family members.

This is our 2nd time in this condo, we came back because we loved it so much! There were 10 of us and we had plenty of room. It was so nice to check in and find treats/snacks waiting for us! We all loved the pool and there is a great outdoor BBQ area. We love the location in Kihei as it is near our favorite beaches, and it was just a short walk to the beach for sunset pictures.
