It was very easy to communicate with owner! House had many thoughtful amenities and kitchen was well stocked! We spent most evenings in covered porch playing games and enjoying each other! So nice to walk across street to be at the ocean! Quiet neighbors and we felt very safe!

We had an amazing stay at Seaside. North Side is definitely where you want to be on Grand Cayman. The listing was accurate and exactly what we expected. Owners were easy to get a hold of and the communication was excellent. Thanks for everything!

We had a wonderful week. Great weather, excellent house and the owners and manager were helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the restaurants and beaches and several of the local attractions, including a snorkeling cruise and the crystal cave tour.

I give this home 5 stars! Beautifully decorated and fully stocked with all of the necessities. The owners have wonderful communication. I would definitely stay here again.

The house was perfect. All the bedrooms were great. We loved all the screened in spaces. We used them a lot! Of course ample time was spent in the pool. So relaxing. Definitely recommend ! We had a great time!

Went with family and significant others of our children. Loved how much space there was where we could all hang out or be by ourselves. Made friends with the chickens. Pool was clean and refreshing. Whole house was beautiful.

The experience from start to finish was seemless. The house is absolutely beautiful and had everything our family needed to be at home during our vacation. Hal was excellent and paid attention to detail during his walk through and was only a call away if we needed anything. Fred and Sabine the property owners were attentive and answered our emails promptly. Can't wait to come back again next year. Thank you

The property worked out perfectly for our family. Everyone enjoyed having their own areas and also family areas. The private pool was super! We wish the beach area would have been nicer. There was a ton of garbage there. Lots of biting bugs too. The chickens were fun to watch.

The house is perfect for a large group. The pictures on the website do not give the view of the ocean from the house justice. 4 bedrooms have in-suite bathrooms, private pool with a 5th bathroom, kitchen upstairs and one downstairs by the pool. The downstairs has a very large screened in area with hammocks, table, and chairs. We played cards all night, our music was loud, and no close neighbors to disturb. The property has beautiful flowers and foliage. We saw wild parrots, chickens, baby chics, beautiful birds. The beach is across the street but the view is a full oceanview. There are no houses or buildings to obstruct the view. The beach across the street is not a great beach to hang out but we did not care because the pool was awesome! Rum Pointe has a beautiful beach, restaurant, and bar and it is about two miles away. The property is about 45 minutes from Georgetown and Seven Mile Beach. My advice is to get plenty of groceries the day you arrive in Georgetown/Seven Mile Beach at Fosters or Kirks Market. There is a small grocery down the road if you need to pick up small items during your stay. The area has great local restaurants. I also suggest purchasing plenty of bug spray and citronella candles to use while sitting outside. It is the tropics and the mosquitos were biting! We would stay at this property again. They had every amenity we needed from beach towels to a washer and dryer. Hal is the local contact and he is a wealth of knowledge about the area.

This place was perfect for our group. Away from the main drag of 7 mile but close to beaches and restaurants. The house was beautiful. Especially loved the screened in porches. Ideal for those looking for a relaxing vacation.

The Empty Nesters had a group four couples who enjoy spending time together, and took full advantage of the quieter side of the island. Spent a lot of time at starfish beach, and took a nice, private catamaran trip for snorkeling and stingray city. The layout of the house provided lots of private areas to spread out as well as spaces to gather and have a good time together.

Great layout and having private bathrooms for each room was nice. The screened porch with the kitchen and TV was amazing. The property host was great!

Seaside was a great spot for our group! The property is beautiful and we enjoyed cooking many nice meals here. Tips from the hosts regarding where to buy groceries etc were on point and the local hosts Hal and Adella were lovely. Didn't use the twin beds in Pirate's Nest (out kids are too young to manage the ladder) but can see how teens or pre-teens would love this. Would definitely stay again!

Truely enjoyed our stay in this lovely seaside home. Everyone had room to spread out & spend time together on the lower level. This house was equipped with everything we needed, Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your lovely home.

Open concept allowed for family togetherness while still having personal space. All amenities available for cooking. While it was on the main road it was far enough way that you couldn’t hear the road traffic. It was away from the city so a little less traffic and ability to relax. Only bad thing was it was far from our scuba pick up so we had to do a lot of driving, but that was just bad on our part for not researching Grand Cayman before booking. Loved the stay and would love to come back in the future.

Rum Point vacation house
This property at Rum Point was the perfect vacation spot. The house is beautiful, fully stocked kitchen. Very comfortable! The pool is great. Star fish beach is 5 minutes away. It is a very private location. There is a nice small grocery store and a great restaurant, Over the Edge. close to this house. The check in was so easy and owners are very responsive to questions. We would definitely stay here again. Loved the island and this house!

We enjoyed our stay at Seaside. Everything we needed was there and it was a great way to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. We enjoyed the pool, and walked across the street to the beach which was being cleaned up from a lot of trash and debris. There was plenty of space for the 5 of us and could have adequately accommodated a few more. The upstairs patio was a great evening and morning spot we absolutely enjoyed! By the time we left we finally figured out all the light/fan switches. There were a few areas that could have some updates/maintenance but overall we enjoyed our stay and absolutely would return for another stay as well as recommend this to family and friends.

This is the real Cayman experience. No crowds, no flashy hotels. This place is a lovely, spacious family home. It is on the North side of the Island so you are close to Caves, Stingray, Starfish Point, the Botanical Gardens, and Rum Point. All of the screened in porches make one so comfortable with no mosquitoes even though you are basically outdoors. The pool is so pretty and there are resident iguanas and parrots ( you have to watch out to see them as they prefer their privacy). If you are going to cook, buy groceries at Hurley's or Foster's on your way from the airport because they is little near the house. Seafood for cooking is most difficult to find, but On the Edge restaurant 3mi. from the house will sell you some at a premium. Also, bring your own soaps, shampoos, trash bags, paper towels, etc. as they are not provided. The house is so great for families and the spacing of the 3 bedrooms and baths give privacy to all. Beds are comfortable with nice sheets and good pillows. There are plenty of towels. Kitchen is small but has lots of helpful kitchen items. We are so thrilled that we got to stay in the house and all eight of us (two children) would not want to stay anywhere else for any reason when we come back.

This house rental would be right for you, if you can answer 'yes' to all of the following three questions:1. Do you want to be on the East side of Grand Cayman where the house is located? Grand Cayman has two worlds. The West side includes Georgetown and the Seven Mile Beach area. That area is highly economically developed with large hotels and condos including all the major luxury hotels. The cruise ships dock in Georgetown, and many, many places exist to eat, shop, party, etc. It is crowded and bustling. The east side of Grand Cayman is very different. It is much less developed (basically developed only along the coast hugging roads), much less crowded and moves at a slower pace. If you want that slower pace, the east side is for you. You can still get to the west side and Seven Mile Beach, but it will be a 50-60 minute drive.2.Do you prefer space over high-end amenities? Having been stuck with each other in hotel rooms over the years at Marriotts and Hyatts, my grown family prefers space. This home comes with a lot of space. There are four sleeping areas (3 BRs and a loft), multiple screen covered outside sitting areas and two kitchens. The house is a little on the rustic side, but has fine appliances, strong air conditioning (a must on Grand Cayman), satellite TV and functional bathrooms (they aren't yucky, but it ain't the Ritz). The pool is clean and nice, but the night lights by the pool don't work very well. For us, this house was an excellent choice because we got the space we needed at a reasonable price. I would even say that the house is a bargain if you can get two families together to rent it.3. Are you ready to drive to beaches and other Cayman amenities? While the house is close to the beach, it is not on the water. There's sort of a spooky vacant lot across the street that you can walk through to a beach that not very nice. However, the house is a 3 minute drive from Rum Point beach, which is the epitome of east side laid back Cayman fun. Rum Point has restaurants and bars on the beach, many recliners and hammocks available free to the public, decent snorkeling (great spot for beginners and kids) and is a hub for booking snorkeling tours and activities. Other close by activities are the Botanical Garden - Blue Iguana Sanctuary, Starfish Beach and the Grand Cayman Caves (all are nice 90-120 minute long activities). In closing, this house is great if you can answer yes to the above three questions.

This place has a quirky charm. Not everything worked and the fans were very loud but it had a very nice pool. You need a car because the beach across the street is full of trash with an abandoned bar and shanty town so it is not useable. The trash is not picked up often on the island so we wished we did not make fish early in our trip because is was very ripe by the time we left. All in all it still was a nice place and size for the price.

We quickly became comfortable at Seaside. At first, we did notice that it could use some minor repairs and updates, but those little things didn’t bother us for long. We felt right at home, it was clean and its charm grew with each passing day. We enjoyed our coffee to the sounds of the sea every morning from the screened in balcony. It is within a couple of miles of a beautiful beach at Rum Point. We loved the quiet Northside of the island and the fact that the shoreline was very natural. It was definitely more our style than the busy Seven Mile Beach area. We recommend renting a car for the week. Be sure to make a stop at Hurley’s Market for groceries and a nice selection of delicious locally prepared dishes you can pick up on your way to Seaside. Also, another stop to a wine and spirits store near Hurley’s to stock up. You will want to make as few trips back to busy Georgetown as you can. We arrived on a Sunday and found the island observes a long-lost tradition of most businesses being closed on Sunday. Including grocery stores. We had delicious meals on GC. We especially recommend the Lighthouse Restaurant (we ate there twice) and the Monday evening BBQ at Rum Point. The Italian Kitchen in the Morritt’s Plaza is worthy for Italian food or pizza. Swimming with the stingrays at Stingray City was a high point of our trip. Do not miss it! There is a small public park just beyond Rum Point next to the Kaibo Yacht club where we saw quite a number of starfish within a few feet as we walked along the crystal clear shoreline. Also enjoyed the Queen Elizabeth II Botanical Gardens which is nearby. All in all a great time at Seaside! Hope to return someday.

Great house! All of our needs were met! Beautiful surroundings!
Wonderful property! Wished the beach would have been useable across the street....however we understand that timing is everything and we were there during the North westerly winds. The property was clean and well stocked. Ample room for the 9 of us!
