This is not a beach front condo but Lost Key community is just a short walk to the beautiful beaches of Perdido Key (or you can choose to take the complimentary Lost Key shuttle to and from the Beach Club). Enjoy your time at the LOST KEY BEACH CLUB located directly on the Gulf of Mexico where you will enjoy UNLIMITED ACCESS the beachside pool and beachfront seat restaurant/bar. The approximately 5,000 square foot, open-air beach amenity is available exclusively for Lost Key Residents and Renters only. The Club offers food and beverages, grills, seasonal beach service, a swimming pool with beachfront access and locker rooms with shower facilities. Shuttle service is provided for Lost Key residents and guests in the community. If you are looking for a quiet getaway from all the crowds, LOST KEY is for you! First of all, VRBO has the wrong address listed in the checkin email. We drove around for several minutes before we found the message from the property manager that had the right address. It’s not convenient coming into LostKey because you’re only allowed to come in the main entrance. Leaving, you can go through any of the 3 entrance/exit points. The condo itself was the most well stocked place we’ve stayed in our 7 years coming to Perdido Key. Such great amenities. They thought of everything. You can tell the owners actually use the place, as in things you need are there. Beautiful view. Only complaint was the front door lock is really hard to use and we were locked out once. It sticks and as far as I know, no one came to look at it. We contacted the property manager and she sent the housekeeper. The housekeeper was very nice. This is overall a great place to stay as long as you don’t get locked out.

First time in Perdido Key. We feel like we found a hidden gem. We enjoyed morning walks, bike rides (2 bikes included) and several games of pickleball on the nearby courts. The Lost Key community is beautiful. We took the shuttle bus to the beach a few times which is a great amenity. The included beach chair/umbrella service at the beach club is also a big bonus. However this service is only provided on weekends. We spent most of our time at the heated condo pool which is less than a 5 minute walk away. Lovely and never too busy. Our unit was very spacious with the kitchen and living area in the center and a bedroom and bath on each side. Perfect for two couples, allowing for some privacy. The large balcony overlooking the golf course is amazing. The condo is very clean and tastefully decorated. You can tell by all of the personal touches that this unit is much more than just an investment property. We are so grateful for opening up this beautiful place for us to enjoy and a huge thank you to our host Susan. She is so sweet and thoughtful. Our stay could not have been better. We hope that we can return again next year. Angie & Bill

Relaxing Vacation Spot
We loved staying here. Susan, the property manager, was very thorough in her communications and incrediblyresponsive. Location is great, pool is very nice! Tons of wildlife to enjoy. We will definitely be back in the future.
A few tips for future renters:
-The beach shuttle runs hourly. It picks up at the condo poolhouse/ office about 20-40 minutes past each hour. We did not ride the shuttle for this reason. We didn't like how long and unpredictable the wait was. We biked one day and drove and parked at the public beach access the other 2 days. Prob a 10 min bike ride with fairly level roadways. Bike seat on the larger black bike was a little uncomfortable but a towel helped.
-The chairs that are available in the condo are camp style chairs. If you like actual beach chairs that sit close to the ground, bring your own. The chairs available at the beach club are lounge style. For this condo you get 4 chairs and 2 umbrellas. They are available first come first serve so there might not be any an available during peak beach times. There is ample room to setup your own chairs closer to the water which is what we will do next time. The signage at the beach also says no coolers, but we brought ours as did others. I think if you're discreet it'll be fine.
- The beach club restaurant was only open Thursday- Sunday. We didn't get a chance to try it but seating inside/upper pool deck has a server whole outside/lower pool deck is order at the bar service. The beach club pool is on the small side (maybe 15ft×20ft- looks larger in pictures) and sits at the lower deck. It is 4 ft deep. The deck at the beach club gets HOT so wear sandals up there. There are 3 showers up by the air conditioned restrooms and 1 down below at ground level for rinsing sand. The beach club wasn't as busy as I thought it would be which was nice considering the size.
-There are only 4 beach towels available in the condo. If you need more, bring more. We had everything we needed otherwise in the condo. Lots of pillows, blankets, pots, pans, cups, etc. I think one thing that could be added to the kitchen utensils are some plastic spatulas. There is a keurig- regular coffee pot combo. Everything was stocked from spices to TP to towels to trash bags to dishwasher detergent,etc. to get you thorough the first day until you can get to the store.

Quiet and relaxing
We absolutely loved staying at Lost Key Condo and Beach Club! The condo where we stayed was absolutely perfect and just as described. It was off of the beaten path and yet close to nearby attractions and restaurants. We loved that we were able to get to everything easily and not have to deal with overwhelming traffic. The beach and beach club were exceptionally nice and never overcrowded. One thing that was available while we were there was one complimentary umbrella with 2 chairs set up right on the beach. I don't know if this was a limited time thing, but it was very convenient and enjoyed greatly by our family. This is where our family spent most of their 'sun time.' The pool near the condo was exceptionally nice, but there was only one day that we took advantage of it. My husband intended to use the gym in the building near the pool, but he was enjoying the relaxation time so much that he never made it over there! Golf services were offered as part of this package, but since none of us golf, we can't speak to that part. There were bikes available to use too, but we never used those either. Relaxation was our number one goal for this trip.
One of the things that stood out to use was how welcoming Susan made us feel. She went above and beyond by leaving us goodies on the counter in the kitchen that we enjoyed very much. That is definitely something we didn't expect! She was also very attentive in answering our questions both before and after our arrival. She was even able to connect us with a photographer to do some family portraits on the beach during our stay.
We loved staying at this property so much that we didn't want to leave! We thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely stay there again if the opportunity presented itself.

Clean and beautiful
My family and I stayed here for just over a week while moving from Chicago back down to Pensacola. We had a wonderful time. We’ve always enjoyed staying at Lost Key, but this condo was particularly nice. Very clean, well stocked, and beautifully decorated. The property manager, Susan, was very responsive and was even able to accommodate a last minute change in our reservation due to an early arrival of our home goods. What a relief! Overall, it was a great experience and I highly recommend this property!
