About this cabin rental
Located in Leesville, this attractive cabin for £140 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Peaceful 2 Bedroom Cabin on large lot close to Lake Murray Dam and Town of Lexington. This secluded cabin is simple, but comfortable with a fabulous view of the lake, a large private boat ramp and a dock where you can launch your boat, tie it up to the dock, swim and fish. If you like birds, this place offers some wonderful viewing. We have seen Bald Eagles, Osprey, Owls, Loons, all sorts of ducks and loads of migratory birds, including Brown Pelicans! This cabin is just outside the Lexington Town limits and 5 minutes from the Lake Murray Dam, less than a mile from Hwy. 6. There is a driving range directly across from the entrance to our driveway. The Regal Pastime Pavilion 8 movie theater is 5 minutes away; the Riverbanks Zoo & Botanical Gardens are 20 minutes away and there are plenty of other fun things to do beyond playing on Lake Murray! The house is simply furnished, but very comfortable with lots of sleeping space. One bedroom has a queen size bed and the other bedroom has a twin and full size bed. In the large great room there is a a trundle bed with 2 twins. The bathroom is large with a shower/tub enclosure. There is a stacked washer & dryer. The dining room area has a large table that easily seats 8 people. A large counter in the kitchen area has 6 stools for even more seating space. There is a wood burning fireplace in the great room for those cool nights in the fall, winter & early spring.

We loved our stay at this quaint lakeside home. The house was spotless and had everything we needed for our visit. The big bonus was the boat ramp and dock as we brought out boat to do some fishing. The owners were very helpful with the check in and made sure we had everything we needed. We would highly recommend!

Very pretty location on rhe Lake.The owner met me at the property and gave me some history of the lake and the house. He built the place himself. The house was spotless and very comfortable.

We enjoyed our long weekend stay here with family including our 6 yr. old grandson. Though only 2 bedrooms & 1 bath, the cabin seemed very spacious. It was very conveniently located near Lexington, and the view was expansive!

Nice family type home in a beautiful location. Was a perfect location for an early Christmas with my son and his family, who were unable to see us for Christmas. The home was fully stocked with everything we needed for our Christmas get together. The owners were very helpful and nice to us. Offered helpful suggestions on Restaurants and things to do around the area. We had a wonderful time. Hope we can use this home again when we come down from Maryland to see my son and his family again.

This is my second time staying at this property and we will be back. It's close to Columbia where my daughter goes to college and just a wonderful retreat! The owners are so friendly and accommodating. The cabin is clean, fully stocked and has a beautiful view of the lake.

The property is very private on a big shady lot. It was very clean, we had no issues during our stay. the kitchen was well equipped, plenty of towels and bedding. It was a cabin so a bit musty, they are replacing the carpet so that will likely resolve it. The only think I would have liked to of had was a fire pit outside. No fires or smoking are allowed on the property. Not a deal breaker but I love outdoor fires by the lake. Thanks for a great stay!

It's a cabin down a secluded gravel road on a heavily wooded lot so you should expect some wildlife and critters. Consider taking a sound machine if all the nature sounds keep you from sleeping (there was a bird that seemed like it was on the roof squawking a few nights). Great dock for swimming and boating fun!

We had the best time at this house. It was super clean and very homey. Perfectly stocked kitchen. The owners were very nice and prompt to respond to questions. We will definitely be back to visit. Location is great. Perfect view for sunrise and sunset. It’s a gem of a property.
