Marrakech Mansion is a registered Heritage property, located in the heart of the Historic old town. You are one block from Queen Street, one block from the oldest golf course in North America and ½ block from Queens Royal Park on the river. The house has 4 bedrooms, three with queen-sized beds, one with two single beds and a fold out couch in the library. The beds are all equipped with sheets and duvets. Each bedroom is supplied with two bath towels, a supply of hand and face towels are in the bathrooms. The dining room, living room and library are all on the main floor allowing lots of living space. The flat screen TV is connected to a HD feed. If you like old movies I have dozens. The house has fibre optic wi-fi with 150 up and 150 down. The kitchen is fully equipped, with fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave plus cooking utensils and dinnerware enough for ten people. The house has three bathrooms, two on the second floor and a ½ bath on the main floor. The courtyard garden adjacent to the kitchen is your outdoor dining room with a Weber gas BBQ and Moroccan tile table that seats ten. The front veranda is a great spot for your morning coffee. The remainder of the property contains a parking area for at least 5 cars, lots of grass and flowers. The property is 106 feet by 126 feet so there is lots of room to relax and spread out. We loved our 3 day stay with our family! We were there to attend our granddaughters wedding. We couldn’t have picked a better location! The property is beautifully kept, lovely gardens & lots of space. Don George was wonderful to deal with & always responded to our questions….thank you!

We had a most wonderful experience. The house was beautiful as well as immaculately kept. The garden area was lovely and the location of the house was ideal for walking and sightseeing. This is a not to be missed house.

enjoyed the property very much. Accommodations were great! We very much appreciated that we could bring our pet but thought that the extra levy for the privilege was excessive> The listing states that the residence sleeps 10 but charges a nightly levy for each guest over and above 9. Overall, it's a great place to stay and we enjoyed it very much.

Our stay at Marrakech Mansion was five stars from the booking right up until checkout. The host communicated immediately whenever we had a question, and everything was as advertised. He accommodated our early arrival and made sure everything was ready for us. Clean, comfortable and plenty of great sitting areas to talk while enjoying the beautiful gardens and trees on the property. Minutes from downtown, it is the perfect place to stay for a group looking to tour NOTL for a weekend or the week. Don was a fantastic host, and we look forward to coming back next year!

The location of this historical was ABSOLUTELY incredible --a short block to the main downtown. In the other direction a short block to the beautiful lake front. Walking distance to everything. Park the car and you never have to drive!! Plenty of parking at the house, private /gated backyard. Gorgeous gardens. Walk to restaurants, walk to the park, walk to church, Walk to dinner, Walk to the winery. Very CLEAN, historic home! Great/fast communication with the owner--super easy entry. Very large "mud room" which allowed us to completely unload our large vehicle, and then deal with all the luggage later. (Loved that!) 4 Very spacious bedrooms, 3 very spacious bathrooms and 2 living rooms. Washer and dryer, lots of board and card games to play with the family!!

My family enjoyed the historic home, staying here at this mansion/house made our vacation very memorable and I would highly recommend to everyone . EXCELLENT!!

Beautiful Casablanca Themed Property in the heart of NOTL
Don George really helped with providing clear instructions and was available by email to answer questions.
The house has been lovingly renovated, yet keeping an old world charm.
The backyard is spacious for a BBQ or alfresco dinner - though it was a little too much wind and a chill to stay out in the evenings.
Would definitely recommend Marakech Mansion!

Amazing stay!
Some friends rented this adorable house for a girls weekend and we fell in love with it! Can’t beat the location and the property is stunning. The gardens are simply beautiful. The house itself has everything you need and is decorated beautifully. We would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend!

Historic. “ mansion” is fabulous...very clean and extremely well supplied.....Just to enjoy the gardens, with colourful Muskoka chairs, is worth the visit !! Easy walking distance to shops and restaurants ( 1 block) and Shaw festival (5 blocks)
Perhaps only note ..3 upstairs bedrooms ( sleeping 6) must share 1 bathroom...4th bedroom has en-suite...we would return in a heartbeat

Property is situated in the heart of the action in Niagara on the Lake. You could not find a property located any better! The historic house is very well maintained and restored. The property owner Don George was very responsive. Overall my family of 7 had a great time and we were not at all cramped in the large house.

Great location and lovely stay
We had a siblings reunion of sorts at the wonderful Marrakech Mansion. We enjoyed the lovely home and the gardens as well! The home is quite historic , but every effort has been made to make guests comfortable. The gardens were alive with Spring blooms and the outdoor areas were wonderful! Great location to walk to the water, parks and of course, shopping and sightseeing!
It was our second stay here, and we hope to return in the near future!

Nice big house with a beautiful garden in the center of Old Town NOTL
Well equipped home (including the kitchen). Lots of space to gather a large group to chat, both inside and out. Only shortcoming is that the bedrooms are not individually air conditioned; there is just one large AC in the upstairs hall that all the bedrooms open on. It’s two blocks from the Royal George Theatre.

A Home from Home
Marrakech Mansion was absolutely the perfect home from home. We all felt instantly comfortable and settled easily. The house was warm, the water hot, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, the sofas were plentiful! There was ample space for us all. We loved all the colours and the interior decorations and the flexibility the house offered us. There were lots of places for different conversations and games – even a gentle singalong with acoustic guitar – before curfew! I just wish we had had longer with your fascinating library and more time to spend in the beautiful garden!
We adored Niagara on the Lake! We saw the falls, close up from behind and above. We cycled, we rode horses, we visited St Georges Fort, Ice wine vineyards, shops, coffee shops, bars, fabulous ice cream shops. Our credit cards were well and truly flexed!!
Marrakech Mansion provided for all our needs and we now hold many good memories of our son's wedding and meeting our new Canadian family. Thank you for all your help with our requirements and providing such a great, comfortable family holiday home. We are looking forward to more visits to Canada in the future.

Great Weekend Getaway!
This past weekend we had a small group of ladies up to Niagara on the Lake for a bachelorette weekend. We had a lovely weekend at Marrakech Mansion. It was walking distance to all of the little shops and restaurants in town and close to the beautiful walkway down by the water - great view of Fort George! Close to a lot of the wineries for some tastings as well. The house was neat and clean and had all of the little necessities that we needed. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms so everyone could have their privacy, but then great common areas for relaxing and having meals. Definitely recommend this property and plan on making a trip back!

The Spencer's Family Day Weekend
My husband and kids and their better half and our grandson and dog stayed at this house family day weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this house. Lots of room for everyone to sleep even our grandson had his own room. We didn’t even have to bring a playpen and highchair as there was one at the house. 5 minutes walking distance to Main Street to go shopping. The weather wasn’t even cold outside and was a beautiful walk down to the lake. This house was gorgeous heritage home. Thank you Don for letting us all stay at Marrakech Mansion.

Great House and Location
My husband and I along with two other couples enjoyed a wonderful New Year celebration at Marrakesh Mansion. The house is immaculate and such a great location. Park your car and walk everywhere. We hope to be back in the Spring or Summer to enjoy the outdoor space which looks as great as in interior. Highly recommended.

fabulous weekend
I stayed at Marrakech Mansion in October. The home looked great in pictures but far surpassed my expectations once I stepped inside this gorgeous heritage home. The grounds were beautifully kept and I was able to enjoy them as the weather was also perfect. There were 10 of us in total. We had ample room to move about without knocking into each other. I would highly recommend this home and will gladly stay again.

My wife and I plus 3 other couples stayed here for a weekend of great food and excellent wine.
The house was perfect for the large group. Incredibly comfortable, clean and full of character. Will hopefully get back here annually to do it again.

4 couples shared this beautiful mansion for 3 nights. We all had lots of room to gather, relax, eat and visit. The location was perfect with very little need for a car. Hired bicycle tours, shops and restaurants as well as scenic parks are all in easy walking distance.
We all agreed that we will try and make this an annual event at this beautiful home full of character and warmth.

Couples Retreat 10 out of 10!
Our group of 4 couples recently spent 3 nights at Marrekech Mansion and had a fantastic time. The pictures don't really do it justice. The location is outstanding and allows you to put away the car keys for the duration of your stay unless you want to go to the new outlet mall or golf somewhere other than the 9 hole course that's a 2 minute walk away. We ate at the golf course the first night but then decided the property was so amazing that we walked to the grocery store and bought salmon etc to barbecue on the Weber grill. The 8 of us sat out on the patio into the wee hours enjoying the ambience of the location.
We enjoyed the large dining table for our morning breakfasts. The beds were all very comfortable and have lovely crisp linens. The property is beautifully maintained and very clean. I would have no hesitation in recommending Marrekech Mansion and the owner was great to deal with. We look forward to returning in the near future.

Perfect
The Marrakech Mansion is perfectly situated between Queen St. and the lake. Everything you need is just a short walk or bike ride away. The Mansion itself is large and well appointed, with everything you need for an extended stay. Sit outside at one of four sitting areas. We enjoyed our coffee on the front porch, and later a glass of wine after a hard day of visiting some of the many wineries in the area. You won't be disappointed.

We loved our stay at Marrakech Mansion! The place is big inside and outside. We were 2 families with young children so it was important to us to have a nice yard and more than one bathroom... Marrakech Mansion has it all! It is very close to the main street (Queen street) where you will find several ice cream shops, liquor store and a small grocery shop. A big park (for pic-nics) is also two blocks away. We can also recommend renting bikes and riding around, NOTL is beautiful!

Lovely, spacious, clean accommodation - a perfect holiday
We had an incredible week in Niagara On The Lake and much of that was due to our stay at Marrakech Mansion. The house was spacious, beautiful, clean, quiet, and well-stocked. The location, between the lovely waterfront and the quaint main street, was perfect. We loved sitting out on the front porch of this beautiful home and looking across the street from the expanse of the lawn and garden. In such wonderful lodgings, we had a chance to relax in a way that just doesn't happen for us in in our day-to-day lives. The house is perfect for easy access to the theatres, restaurants, and shops as well - a quick walk to anywhere we wanted to go in NOTL. We were celebrating our 25th anniversary and were joined by our 4 children and a few extended family members. We were even allowed to bring our (well-behaved) dog. I couldn't have hoped for a better week and look forward to returning.
