About this house rental
Situated in Pawleys Island, this charming house for £228 per night is a great option for your next vacation. 760 Springs Avenue, Pawleys Island (the 4th house from the very end of Pawleys Island's South End). We always allow the current year's renters the first option to re-rent their particular week for the next year. This also means we can't commit to current renters for DIFFERENT weeks next year until sufficient time has gone by for the original renters to decide. Contact host about availability. FYI - DO NOT try to rent this property from a "David Allen" on Craigslist. It is a SCAM and we only rent this property through VRBO. Watch a sunrise that only God could paint from the spacious deck over looking the Atlantic Ocean. Fill your days making great memories shelling, playing in the ocean, building sand castles, bicycling, kayaking or tubing down the creek. Go crabbing or fishing with the kids and show them how the simple things are really what matter. Don't miss the crimson sunset over the creek from the back porch at day's end. Generations of families have been coming to this island to enjoy life. The house is family-owned. It is simple in its decor, but comfortable....in fact, many of the same families have been renting this cottage for over 20 years! It has three bedrooms (each with a queen bed) with a full bath between the first two bedrooms and another full bath attached to the master bedroom on the oceanside. Since we were all over 68, we needed help carrying luggage up the large stairs outside. We called Cabana Boy a few days before arriving to see if he would help and he was great. The best part is private dock, except nothing there to clean fish if you catch some, like we did. Very uncomfortable beds and den furniture. Hardly anything in kitchen, we brought air fryer, cast iron pan (we forgot it when we left, we were hurrying up trying to get house clean for maids), we brought our own sharp knife thank goodness, no W/D and you have to bring your own linens. Nice owner, just needs help stocking and decorating and thinking about the fishermen’s needs! And be careful what you say. The neighbors are very close. Very nice, large shower. Only one TV. Weird parking because they have under house boarded up so you can’t park under there. I guess because it’s so old they didn’t have closets when built, so it’s better to bring 24 hours of clothes in and leave the rest in car. There’s room for towels and toiletries in the two baths. Great screened porches, front and back. But no singing or speaking loud as to not disturb turtles. Not handicapped friendly. Younger families who still have good backs wouldn’t mind the house. An elevator and comfortable furniture and linens provided would be great and they could increase rent to pay for it. It’s fun to be on Pawleys, though. Overpriced for amount of amenities. IMO. Owner responded quickly when called,

Oh my! This place could not have been more perfect for us to take our aging parents to the beach! It’s so close to the water they had no problem getting to the beach, taking walks and dipping their toes in the water. Loved the rocking chairs. Daddy hasn’t been able to fish in years and the dock on the creek was perfect even with benches! We loved it. Close to town and convenient. We coming back next year for sure!

This was our third year. A very comfortable property in a perfect location. Front and back screened-in porches are the best places to spend a relaxed time. One can enjoy both the beach and the creek -- sunrises, sunsets, and fishing. It is an older property and the kitchen cabinets and supplies are dated, but it is clean and comfortable. It is a great place for a small family gathering.

We rented this wonderful little beach house for the second year in a row, and it was great! Super clean, all the basics you need. Be advised that towels and linens aren’t provided, as stated in the contract. Loved our stay, it’s like having your own private beach!

It’s a lovely place to be right on the water and across the street from the creek. It’s nice to be so close to the south end beach.
The porches are great for sunrise and sunset.

We had a good 3 1/2 days because of the hurricane Ian came through. In those days we walked the beach every day and one night. I hope we can rent it again in the near future. I love this place, you get the ocean on one side and the creek on the other. Which you can fish both!!

This was a perfect house to rent for our stay - the views and location were spectacular and although the house is not large, it was perfect for us. **no washing machine and dryer was disappointing but overall was very happy with rental - very clean!

Pawley’s Island is the quintessential southern family vacation destination. Enjoy fishing, kayaking, biking, dolphins, turtles, and more. We’ve been blessed to make priceless memories in this lovely “old school” family beachfront home now for a couple of years and have already made reservations for next year. Enough said!

We loved it!! The owners are doing a great job! We gave it 4 stars for cleanliness bc the Bunn coffee pot and toaster needs replacing as well as under the kitchen sink. The salt water deteriorates these items quickly. However, It was the cleanest house we have rented in 17 years ❤️. We can't wait to go again❣️

I didn’t pay attention to the fine print on the need to bring sheets, towels or anything regarding a stay at the beach. Otherwise all good!

We spent a lovely week at the Wiggins beach house with a view of the sunrise over the ocean from one screened porch and of the sunset over the creek from another. The house is not upscale or fancy, but it is cosy and comfortable. We spent our mornings visiting nearby Huntington Beach State Park, Brookgreen Gardens, and Georgetown. In the afternoons, we relaxed at the house with walks on the wide, beautiful beach and reading on one of the screened porches. This would be a great place for a family with young children. People who want nightlife and many activities might find it a bit too quiet.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Pawley’s Island. The house is a perfect location on the beach and the creek on the other side. Even though we were there off season, we enjoyed bike rides, walks on the beach, lovely sunrises & sunsets. The house is very comfortable & had everything we needed.

Great place to stay! The location was perfect! Able to see the sunrise over the beach in the morning and the sunset over the creek in the evening. The kids enjoyed fishing from the private dock every night. The marsh was beautiful! Took many naps on the screened in porches. There is an outdoor shower to clean the sand off. Hope to return in the future.

Whether it’s sunny or rainy, you can enjoy ocean and creek views from the screened porches on the front and back of the house. You are literally steps from the beach, which is particularly helpful if you have small children, as we did on our family vacation. The house is not new but has been updated with a new bath. The kitchen is dated but adequate. This is a traditional Pawleys Island family beach house. It’s all about the location.

This was out first time at Pawley's Island and we loved it! This home was perfectly sized for our family of four and we would certainly come back again. The island was quiet, and on chilly days, we almost had the beach to ourselves! Lots of shark teeth to be found on long beach walks. This home has a lot to offer in terms of oceanfront and creek views/access, which we enjoyed. The interior has been updated and the living space/bedrooms are bright and cheery with a beachy color palette. We liked that the island is not commercially developed but that stores and restaurants are only about 3 miles away.

Our family of four stayed here recently and absolutely loved it. The home is situated nicely on the beachfront with incredible views to the ocean, and also has direct access to the "creek" in the back. There are screened in porches both in front and back, and also an open deck on the beach front for hanging out and relaxing. Our sons made good use of the creek dock for fishing. The home itself was spotless, the beds comfortable, and there were plenty of dishes, pans, etc. for cooking. Communicating with Grace was a breeze, and she was always pleasant and accommodating. We had a very hard time leaving and highly recommend the Wiggins House!

We have stayed at numerous properties on the island over the last 25 years and have found Wiggins Beach House by far the best for our two adult couples. We have reserved it for next year and hope to continue our great experience with this place.

My family and I had a wonderful vacation at the beach! The house was a great size for our family of four and being right on the beach absolutely cannot be beat. We spent many mornings, afternoons and evenings on the deck and screened in porch listening to and watching the waves. The beach was really quiet and not crowded. The waves can get rough, but we still enjoyed swimming beyond where they were breaking and the southern tip of the island (a very short walk) was less wavy and great for little kids, especially at low tide. We rented a canoe from Pawley’s Kayaks and sheets/towels from Palmetto Linen rental and both were great. Thanks to Grace for making an easy and great stay!
