Nestled in Leland, this lovely house for £464 per night is a great option for your next trip. The house is a custom built cedar, two story walk-out, with the lower level walking out on the lake side. Each floor has a large, comfortable living area in the center, each with a beautiful view of the lake. The house has heating and airconditioning The first floor has two bathrooms and a large master bedroom and den with a desk and bunkbeds. There is a large, comfortable living room with beautiful windows and a cedar vaulted ceiling. Also on this floor is a nice kitchen and dining area, opening up to an outdoor deck. The second floor, in addition to the living room, has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It opens out to a deck and walkway to the dock and lake. Leland sits between Lake Michigan and North Lake Leelanau, a beautiful and large inland lake. Our home is in a private location on the west shore of North Lake Leelanau - great for swimming, boating, kayaking, or just sitting on the deck and enjoying the great water views. Leland and Lake Michigan are just a short walk from the house. Leelanau County, which is the 'little finger' of the lower peninsula of Michigan (in the northwest corner), is an exceptionally beautiful place and a wonderful place to visit. It is a mosaic of beautiful cherry farms, vineyards, wooded hillsides and spectacular Lake Michigan shoreline and beaches. It is also the home of the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore which contains miles and miles of beautiful beaches and spectacular sand dunes. In Leland you can enjoy shops, many nice restaurants and historic Fishtown. From Fishtown there are charter fishing trips available, or a ferry service to two islands (The Manitous), part of the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. There are many other wonderful towns in Leelanau County to explore. There are 12 wineries in Leelanau County, and many more in the neighboring Old Mission Peninsula. Just south of Leelanau County is Traverse City, Michigan, home of the National Cherry Festival, the Traverse City Film Festival, and the Epicurean Classic. This home was perfect for our group of 6 mature adults. The setting is very pretty and close to shopping and restaurants. It is neat as a pin and very clean with a well-stocked kitchen. The owner was accessible and easy to communicate with. If you are looking for a home to gather with friends or family, this home is for you!

Absolutely loved our stay! Perfectly located within walking distance to Fishtown and Leland shopping. Short drive to Suttons Bay, Northport, Traverse City, etc. The home is well stocked, very comfortable and has everything you could need or want to enjoy a family vacation.

I was impressed with the cleanliness of the property. Typically, houses in wooded areas have some bugs or spider webs inside. I saw no evidence of this. The host takes pride in the property. Plenty of kitchen items, full size fridge, plenty of seating. We brought our own Keurig pod style coffee machine but there is a brewer there. Downstairs is cold, even in summer. I didn’t sleep downstairs but my family who did needed sweatshirts and extra blankets at night. Perhaps a space heater downstairs would solve the issue. All in all, a fabulous property. We’d stay again. Great location walking distance to town.

We rented this house for my daughter's wedding. We had 7 adults and we had plenty of room for everyone. The home was very clean. The owner was easy to communicate with and we had everything we needed. To make it even better we had beautiful weather for the wedding on the beach by Lake Michigan. I would highly recommend this rental.

The house and location worked very well for our group. The house is close to Leland, has lakefront access and is secluded from the neighboring houses by vegetation , even though they quite close on both sides. The property contact responded quickly to our few questions.

We had a wonderful trip to Leland - so lucky because the cherries and the trillium were blooming. House is very well equipped with everything we needed. Kitchen was well stocked with equipment and also cooking basics (always a bonus). We loved that Loftus cottage was clearly a family home. Location was excellent- easy walk into Leland. We came for a small family wedding in Northport. This was such a good experience. We were so pleased with this beautiful home. It's a very peaceful property with a gorgeous lakeview. We had two families together and it was a wonderful place to spend the weekend. We enjoyed our family time sitting on the dock and having our bonfires in the evening. It was very comfortable and we had everything we needed. This is the first time we've rented a house, it was easy and we were so pleased, we loved looking at all the family photos on the walls. We know this house has been filled with love. We would definitely go back again. The only negative is the check out time. We didn't get to bed until after 1:30 am and had to be out by 10:00 am. Not easy getting a group up and out so early after a wedding, a little stressful, but they all did it for me. We all loved this house!

Excellent place Such attention to detail The only thing that wasn’t awesome was the weather. My son has autism and this place was perfect for him. The host was responsive and helpful. The dock was perfect for our small sailboat. The sandy beach was walking distance as was downtown. I would stay here again. Reminder to anyone who likes to grill to bring charcoal. We forgot to bring it.

This house was beautiful! The pictures don't do it justice. It was so big and spacious for our family of 10! Everything was clean, lots of supplies available in the kitchen, plenty of towels, etc. The host, Susan, was very helpful and responded to inquiries quickly. We enjoyed our time on the dock on Lake Leelanau. The house is also located in a great small town, Leland. We spent time on the beach of Lake Michigan and down the docks visiting various eateries, all located only a mile from the house! While staying here, our family dreamed of having a Family Lake House just like this house! HIGHLY RECOMMEND
