Our stay at this home provided us with the most spectacular views of Lake Champlain & the Adirondack Mountains off in the distance. During our stay, there was a full moon & the views of it reflecting on the lake at night were amazing. The screened in porch was our favorite part of the home, but the rest of it was nice, too! The house was very comfortable, very functional, & very dog-friendly. If we ever return to VT, we would definitely want to rent this vacation home again.

My family loved our stay. The neighborhood was quiet but close to everything you need. The lake was perfect for kayaking + paddle boarding or just viewing from the deck with a coffee or cocktail. Plenty of room for myself, my spouse, my 2 girls and my parents.

We stayed here for a week over Memorial Day, the weather was perfect and the property was even better. Check in was a breeze, instructions were detailed, and the house had everything we could possibly need for our stay. Fast wifi for some work. Close proximity to downtown Burlington as well as outdoor hikes. We will be back!

We are a 60-something retired couple. We stayed 13 days in this clean, modern and very private house right on Shelburne Bay. The house was as advertised and well-stocked with linens and paper products. The view through the Living Room windows can't be beat... Shelburne Bay and Lake Champlain are right there, with the Adirondacks in the background! Located 15 minutes from the Burlington Waterfront and Bike Path. Lots of history and other attractions (Ben & Jerry's). We enjoyed our stay very much!

This was the second summer our family stayed in this house, and we already cannot wait to go back next summer! The location is amazing - right on the lake with its stunning sunsets and glorious breezes and 10 minutes drive to downtown Burlington. The split level layout is perfect for extended family or two families, and the open concept main room is all views out the sliding glass doors. The best “room” of the house is the screened in porch though with its perpetual breezes and beautiful views. The house has everything you need including kayaks which we took out and a beautiful Weber grill. The hosts are very responsive and great to correspond with. I cannot recommend this home enough!

Comfortable furniture and beds, great location with proximity to downtown Burlington and a 40 min drive from Middlebury College. Fabulous getaway
We had a lovely holiday at this beautiful property on the water. The locale was divine and the house was quite comfortable. The kitchen is large and well-appointed and the fireplace enhances the ambiance wonderfully. I would highly recommend this house to other guests. The host was responsive and helpful leading up the stay and we have zero complaints. Thanks for a lovely vacation.

Amazing Place To Stay
This home was great - location, size of indoor space and outdoor space, screened in porch, on the lake. Our party of 4 adults and 3 children were very comfortable here - lots of things to do at home and nearby. Also, lots of space to have quiet time if people want to take a break from activities. We had a great time. The location was perfect for all that we wanted to do. Space for everyone to spread out. Great quiet location with great views. We got to watch the golden eye ducks raft and fish right out the living room window. Lots of fun.

Amazing views
Overall a GREAT stay. Had two families with 7 young kids and the house was perfect. The property is right on the lake and the pics in the description do not do the view justice. It was freezing cold outside but I was drawn to the beautiful deck and breathtaking views. We had a problem with the front door locking on us (probably one of our kids messing around) and the property manager was VERY responsive and helped. Would def stay here again. Wonderful time!!!

Lovey stay on the lake
We could not have been happier with literally everything about this property. More beautiful and much larger than it appears in the pictures. Well stocked with absolutely everything you could need for our stay. Clean, spacious, beautiful and the views were breathtaking. Right in the heart of everything yet tucked away and peaceful and serene all at once. We will absolutely be staying at this property again as we love to visit Vermont.

Fantastic stay!
The pictures in this listing do not do it justice! Amazing house, large, spacious and extremely well appointed - kitchen extremely well stocked and we were pleasantly surprised that the house had tons of toilet paper, paper towel, soap etc...we missed nothing. We were 3 families, 6 adults and 6 kids and the house had the perfect layout - we never felt crowded. The screened in porch was lovely, the wifi worked amazing and the kids enjoyed the games and big screen TVs. Hosts were wonderful and very responsive. We had a fantastic time, very restful in a super clean and beautiful home. Thank you!!!

Amazing home and vista!
This home was amazing!! Huge with 4 bedrooms. So many windows you felt like you were always part of the nature surrounding you. The view of the lake was stupendous! Incredible open floor plan that makes you feel spoiled beyond belief!! Well equipped! Even the store room has a wall of items that would make a hardware store envious! Hahaha!! Beds were amazingly comfortable. Plenty of towels and necessities. Don't need to bring anything. Stayed there for my son's wedding in Charlotte VT on Saturday 10/26/2019. Great location. Easy access to everything. Extremely clean and comfortable. Did I mention the view? Wish I owned it!! Plenty of parking. It's at the end of the road, so very private. Homes bordering the property are visable but not encroaching. Absolutely love the carport!! It didn't rain the day of the wedding, but did on other days of our stay. The carport allowed for protective covering while unpacking. My only complaint would be the television. We had difficulty using the remotes to watch it. Probably just us, but felt this ridiculously positive review needed some balance. :)

House was perfect for our mixed generational family get together. We slept 8 comfortably and easily sat dinners for 12 when grandparents came over. Views were simply outstanding and the yard was level and a nice size for the kids to play in. We watched afternoon sailboat races in Shelburne bay from the porch. Beautiful house in an amazing location.

None Better
We have rented this house 3 of the last 4 years always around Labor Day week. It has been consistently excellent and our family has enjoyed the sunsets, Little Shelburne Bay, the amazing screened in porch, the overall decor and amenities. There is nothing to want for and the access to Burlington with restaurants and shopping is the topper. Our party of 9 (5 adults & 4 kids) had a GREAT week at this house. It's location is perfect and close to everything - shopping, hiking, lake activities, Shelburne Farm & Museum, ECHO aquarium, Church Street, etc... Only a 5 minute drive to the grocery store was very helpful when we needed a couple items.
We lived on the screened in porch the whole week from early morning coffee to late night laughter. The porch is sizable with ample seating, a constant breeze in the summer heat and best of all - THE SUNSETS!! This property has one of the largest yards/lawns on the road which was perfect for our kids to play. Also since we were at the end of the dead end road, we didn't have to worry about the kids with passing cars. The water level was quite high during our stay so the shore line was a little challenging to navigate on the big rocks, but the young kids were still able to play and splash. By the end of the week the water level was closer to that seen in the listing photos.
A neighbor was our point of contact for any issues and she was quick to respond and act when we needed another propane tank (our only need to contact her). The neighbors on the road were always friendly with a wave as we drove by.
Overall, a great week for our families to gather.

Lakeside Perfection
This is a great location, close to Burlington's amenities, but quiet and peaceful. The lake is beautiful and we had a wonderful kayak to Red Rocks Park. It's an easy drive to the farmer's market, Church Street, great restaurants, etc., but so nice to be able to return to the tranquility of this location. This has to be one of the best locations in the Burlington area. I highly recommend it.
