The house is beautiful and comfy and clean. We really enjoyed our stay and the convenience to Glacier National Park.

The house is beautiful inside, with exposed timber framing and high ceilings, and large windows onto the woods behind the back yard. The kitchen is well-equipped with large center island. There are very few negatives, and lots of raves.
The neighborhood is a little tight, but the thoughtful orientation of the house makes it feel more spacious and private than one would expect. Despite cold weather and rain, I enjoyed hanging out on the upper deck with the view of the woods.

This was our second stay, but our first time in the Timber Frame cabin. It was simply wonderful! The cabin was clean, spacious, and a great location to access Glacier from either the East side or West side. Marty (property manager) checked in with us during our stay and made us feel right at home. In addition, Marty is a wealth of knowledge and made some great fishing and hiking suggestions when we caught up with him midway through our stay. Thank you for letting us stay at this wonderful cabin in Glacier.

Very comfortable cabin just outside of Two Medicine area in Glacier NP. Very nicely furnished, including good cookware and kitchen tools, even a nice stand mixer! Near a general store with grocery essentials where we picked up a couple forgotten food and drink items. The balcony was a perfect spot for enjoying a cup of coffee while enjoying the fall colors.
For travelers with young kids: They have a baby gate for the stairs and some toys. We brought our own pack n play, which was able to fit easily in either of the spacious bedrooms.
Overall, this place exceeded our expectations and we would gladly return.

Home was fabulous! Beautiful wood throughout the interior. Full kitchen, laundry, dining area and living room with a deck off the living room. Beautifully decorated. Really enjoyed our stay. We were a little dismayed by no TV. There was a television but no source. We needed to use our laptop. Overall this was the nicest place we stayed in during our 3-week trip. Mahalo nui loa (thank you very much)!

Ours was a short 2 day stay but loved the house and amenities, and so appreciated how clean the house was upon arrival. The house was well stocked with anything you may need, just bring in groceries and enjoy !!
Weather permitting, there is great outdoor space on the upper deck.
Marty was very friendly and helpful if you need him, but also gives you your space and privacy.
We would definitely stay here again if we get back to this area.

Perfect location to quickly get it most of Glacier NP. The property is a hidden gem inside East Glacier! Beautiful does not describe this home enough. It’s perfect for two couples or a family of 4-5. I will definitely check this rental first for my next visit to the area.

This property was like a home away from home. It was so welcoming and clean. The kitchen was so well stocked with tools and dishes to cook at the house. If you forget anything you need for daily living, you will probably find it somewhere in the house. They have thought of everything.

We really enjoyed our stay in East glacier. The home was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Beds were very comfortable. My son and husband had fun with some of the sports equipment in the backyard. Very close to two Medicine lake area of glacier national Park.

Beautiful, well-maintained timberframe cottage in East Glacier. We loved everything about the place! It was very comfortable, with many amenities. The location was perfect for the hikes we had mapped out. Thank you to Colleen and to Marty, who is on-site and is a jack of all trades and a great story teller! We highly recommend staying here.

We were wowed when opening the door. The house a house shows well online but in person it’s even better. Lots of room to move around. comfortable furniture. Nice views out windows. Great porches to sit on. The kitchen was very well stocked, and the owner has supplied great earthenware. Really felt like we were in the mountains. We use the electric grill for dinner one night and the second night we went to a great Mexican place in town called Serranos. Make sure you stop for a visit at the large glacier hotel down the road. You’ll definitely enjoy your stay here. thanks to Marty, the property manager, for his attention to detail and helpful hints during our stay.

We decided somewhat close to our MT trip to stay a night on the east side of GNP and found this gem. If we ever go back to GNP we will spend more time on the east side at this house. Super clean. Kids played badminton on the lawn while we sat on the porch. Beautiful property!

We were only there one night. We would enjoy spending more time there. Great location if you are going to Glacier National Park. I would suggest going into St. Mary’s entrance from this cabin.

VERY impressed. Beautiful home. Private back yard and 2 patio/balcony which we took advantage of because of the nice weather, just lovely! Wished our travels would've allowed more time. This was the 2nd night of our trip and my 4 year old said this was his favorite part! There are some books and games for the family, washer and dryer to use, comfortable beds. Colleen was very responsive and answered any questions we had. Thank you!

Marty was so accommodating. Everything was well stocked and clean. This is our second time staying with Colleen. So pleased with all aspects of the trip.

The design of this beautiful home was welcoming and functional for us (2 adults). We especially appreciated the wonderful beds, deck, and laundry facilities. Marty was amazing, giving us tips on road closures, trails, and wildlife. The attention to detail has set a new standard for vacation rentals. I loved the beautiful pottery, the drawer full of spices, the salad spinner, the espresso machine, etc. These amenities made it a pleasure to create simple meals including daily picnics for our hikes. We felt like the owners and property manager truly cared about creating a wonderful experience for us. They helped us fall in love with GNP on our first trip there and to dream of a return trip.

The house is beautiful, and has more than enough amenities for a cooking, washing clothes, and just relaxing and enjoying the space. It was very conveniently located for our trips to the hiking areas of East glacier.

I rented from Suzan last year and it was great. This is her larger house and is outstanding! Comfy beds and living room furniture makes the stay great. The kitchen is out fitted with lots of tools and spices. Nothing seams renter quality …everything is what you would want in your own home. And the property manager Marty is friendly and attentive if needed. I can’t say enough about out great stay.

Our stay was beyond amazing. The timber frame home is so beautiful and so well equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay. Colleen (owner) was very quick to respond to any questions we had and Marty (caretaker) is one amazing man. Marty knows so much about this area, he was a great resource and he really made our trip even more enjoyable. The location to Glacier provided an easy route for travel and we loved the park. My group loved the home and the park and we are already talking about visiting again. Without a doubt, this VRBO will be the only choice we will consider. Thank you Colleen and Marty for making this "trip of a lifetime" absolutely perfect for all of us.
Respectfully,
Your friends from Upstate New York

House was welcoming and included all amenities - even some I would not have even imagined would included. Loved how it was decorated - very appropriate for the area. Wish I could have stayed there more nights than I did.

My husband and I stayed here for a week for our trip to Glacier National Park. It's a gorgeous timber frame home, great place to relax after long days hiking in the park. Marty, the caretaker of the property, was very nice. We would stay here again if we decide to make another trip to Glacier National Park.

We stayed in a well appointed modern home witch is one of three. They are encircled by a gated fence . The yard is well maintained. Marty the care taker is right there and very helpful and the owner can be easily reached by phone. Very enjoyable stay. East Glacier is a bit under developed so surrounding homes are somewhat more basic than the the compound that we were in.

Comfortable, clean, and convenient to Glacier national park. We didn't spend much time in the house because we were out hiking the park, but it is a lovely place to come back to after a hard day outside!

Great property. Everything you needed was there. Never rented a place so well equipped and nicely done. Marty was as good as everyone said he was. Lots of information and concern for his guests. Colleen was great with info on phone.
Thanks for a great time

What a gem! Everything about this property is exemplary. From Colleen’s pre-arrival coordination, to Marty’s onsite support, no questions/inquires went unanswered. The property is immaculate, from well-manicured lawn to super clean interior. Kitchen has everything you need to cook meals – even large spice collection; large silverware/plate collection. We grilled ribeyes on the upper deck’s gas grill – superb. We baked pork chops and grilled chicken in the gas oven – yummy. We kept windows closed during the day and open at night to keep house comfortable during the week’s warm conditions (mid-80s each day). Adirondack chairs on deck were relaxing after long days of hiking in the park. I presume property has tankless hot water heater as it takes a short time for hot water, but it gets hot and there’s plenty of it – so just be patient and you’re good to go. My wife enjoyed a soak in the tub after one day’s long hike. We enjoyed not having TV – the available high speed internet enabled us to do what was needed and not lull us into staying inside. Like most log-frame homes, this one talks a bit as the temperatures change (beams expand/contract and ‘moan’ a little) – adds to charm of the property. Very quiet and peaceful neighborhood – one block’s walk to ice cream shop. We hiked Grinnell Glacier, the three falls to Virginia Falls, Hidden Lake, Highline, Avalanche Lake, and Aster Falls. Location is great – we took 464 via Browning to St Mary’s visitor entrance instead of the 20-mile shorter Hwy 49-to-89 route due to significant road construction on Hwy 89 south of St Mary’s park entrance (while a longer route, it is about 5 minutes shorter in duration). This route takes you past Teeple’s IGA in Browning – where we did all grocery shopping. Gas in East Glacier Village was substantially lower than in St Mary – another reason to stay in East Glacier. We were blessed to have sunny, warm weather all week. The is a 5-star property; we would definitely stay here again in the future!

Beautiful home. Huge amount of space. Great layout. Right in east glacier so convenient for visiting GNP. My daughter loved it so much she wants to live there someday. Furnishings dishes artwork etc all very high quality. Family loved the available bikes too. On site grill great for cooking. Onsite caretaker was not used/needed for any issues but he is very pleasant and it is amazing that the property has someone so caring and nearby if needed for renters. Thank you.

This house was a diamond in the rough! It was very well stocked and so very clean. Marty was a great help and answered any questions we had about the area and it’s obvious he takes pride it taking care of the property. We were able to access Many Glacier, Saint Mary, and Two Medicine from here - a great home base for our vacation. We will definitely consider returning if we’re ever in the area again.

Thank you so much Collen for sharing your well appointed beautiful house! This is our 2nd time staying and for sure we will return if it is available (It’s very competitive to book this property!). Marty is a gem. He takes such a great care of the property and his guests! The house is very private, clean and comfortable. It is indeed a home away from home and best of the best.
