This house did not disappoint, the host were the best, the house was everywhere needed and the outdoors were everything we could have dreamed for. The fish were good but the water was perfect for a sunny weekend! Definitely booking again

Exceeded our expectations. The property was beautiful and the home was super functional and decorated so nice. Everything was very clean and safe for our kids ages 2 and 9. The neighbors to the left of the home were very kind also. The only thing we had an issue with was the can openers didnt work lol but in all we had a great relaxing weekend and made wonderful memories with our family. We would 100% book again!

Just leaving after a week stay to go fishing. This house had everything we needed! Kitchen cooking ready. Beds comfortable! Linen and towels plentiful! We enjoyed playing pool! Walking distance to the Cove Restaurant and Fishing Market. Will definitely plan another stay!

We were looking for the perfect getaway that was in the mountains and had a view and this was it. The house was very clean and had the best view on the lake. The kids loved fishing off the dock and playing pool while the adults relaxed. Plenty to do around the area and the host were very informative and helpful when we had any questions. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

We arrived for a 3 day weekend of 4 girlfriends. We brought our kayaks and enjoyed the lake. We asked the home owner for wood at the fire pit which was made available for us. Home owners was very quick in responding. We cooked meals at the house & it was well stocked with pans, bowls & etc. Home is older & is not a designer home. But it was clean & we felt safe. A few small improvements could be made for a huge impact but we had a great time & would return again.

Good location right on the water. Gently slope from house to dock. Firepit available although we did not use. The decor was nice. Perfect for a lake. They ask that we start the wash & laundry detergent was provided. They also asked that we start the dishwasher and one dish detergent tab was provided. No dish soap. Two trash bags were provided but I would recommend leaving a few more. Not many forks were in the drawer. Interior of microwave was filthy. We were not sure the bed in one of the rooms had clean sheets. We found a child's toy inbetween the sheets. Many of the receptacles in on bedroom did not work which made in difficulty for two adults sleeping with CPAP machines. The refrigerator did not get cold enough. The door frame to one of the bedrooms is falling off. Many portions of the ceiling in all rooms needed repair. The doors need to be replaced - peeling & splintering.
Exterior of house needs maintenance. We killed two large roaches but I guess bugs at the lake are expected. Wall vents were dirty. One of the adults had her asthma acting up. The house is cute in the inside but needs a good cleaning and maintenance.

This home should be removed from VRBO. The photos misrepresent the condition of the property. The house is in disrepair, the bedding is dirty and stained. We sat and watch cockroaches (palmetto bugs) crawl all over the “shiplap” wall in the living room in the evening. The deck is full of rotting boards. The deck furniture is filthy and cushions are ripped. Outside lighting does not work. The front steps are dangerous and cannot possibly be built to code. The only positive note is the dock is lovely and the back yard is nice. I have lots of photos available of the poor condition of the property. We checked out before our stay was complete and discussed checking out immediately. There is also no wi-fi availability which is a small issue considering all,the other issues.
The only reason I gave a few of the topics higher rating is that the owner was quick to explain there was no wi-fi and the neighborhood and location are ok. Too bad the house is such a pig sty.

The finishes and amenities of this lake house are great. We were able to cook whatever we wanted with the utensils provided. The pier and outside areas are well maintained. The owner was quick to respond to any question.
Highly recommend to anyone wanting a quiet getaway and will stay again!

I would not recommend this property to families with young children or senior adults due to the conditions of the deck and the steepness of the back yard. There have been other comments about the deck, electrical, uneven floor tiles and the ceiling damage from previous renters that still has not been fixed and that’s is one of the reasons for the lower review. The home owner is aware of these problems and hasn’t fixed them is the other reason for the low review. The best part of our stay was the guided fishing trip that we booked with Lee Pitts and that the weather was fabulous so we stayed outside most of the time.

We didn't get to take advantage of all the amenities at this home, but it was perfect! So clean and the yard is immaculate. Even with the leaves falling, you could tell they pride themselves on a nice yard and dock. We will be back!

We loved this home away from home. It was cozy, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable, and the location on the lake made for some wonderful family memories and a great place to gather. There really was no downside to the property, although some loose boards on deck and dock are worth noting - and could use a little TLC. Overall - I would highly recommend the property to families and couples alike.

Such a cute house love the decor and just steps from the lake. As previous reviews there are many minor imperfections the house is sort of remodeled but the ceiling is falling apart. The tile in the kitchen is wonderful but super uneven. The dock is impeccable the quality can’t be beaten but the deck attached to the house is falling apart. If you’re going to remodel the house and make it look nice take the time to do it all. My family and I had a wonderful time tho the house is so open and spacious and the pool table was a must since we had terrible weather!

My family and I had great time in this beautiful home at Weiss Lake. The home appears to be recently updated and had great view of the lake. The owners are easy to contact and was very helpful in accommodating us any needs we had. Parking a boat is little tricky but they have plenty of room just across street by private launch.

We enjoyed our time at this home so much! Keith was so accommodating and check in/check out was a breeze. It was Memorial Day weekend so there was a TON of water traffic, but we actually enjoyed it! We sat out there and watched the boats and jet skis as they passed. The house is fabulous, the view is breathtaking and the memories we made are unforgettable! Thank you Keith for sharing your piece of paradise with my family, I hope to rent again in the near future!

We rented this place for a week long fishing vacation! House was very nice! Fishing was ok! Plenty of room for two families! The owners are easy to communicate with but we didn’t really have any problems per say! House is stocked enough to cook your own meals! I was shocked that the only hand soap was at kitchen sink! We were also ask to start/clean dishes but there was NO dish soap nor dishwasher soap! We finally found kitchen towels with bath towels! Dock was perfect for boat and fishing! After reading all other comments when we booked I figured the refrigerator light would be fixed.... it was not but really don’t think the owners haven’t tried to fix it because it just blinks probably just a bunk refrigerator! Overall we would rent this place again! Oh note to owners the bath with the stand up shower the bath vent is not working it just hums like it is locked up!
