This was our alternative for the OBX.. THANKS COVID-19.. But it was a good trade ! The house is beautiful the furnishings are beautiful and the view of the lake is amazing. was very well equipped and clean although the hardwood floors were not very clean. but we COVID-19 CLEANED.. THANK YOU..

Problems Found: 1.Broken towel rack in upstairs North bathroom. 2.Burnt out range lights in microwave oven. Bromide tablets in hot-tub - correction cost us a day without the hot-tub. 4. Worst problem was that firewood was green and would not burn.

We had continuous problems with Taylor-Made who manages the property.
We signed a contract and paid and we’re then told they wouldn’t honor the contract! We were forced to change our vacation days and this created some inconveniences.
We like the area but will look for a different property manager next time.
They were very rude and unprofessional with lies told over and over again.
Avoid Taylor-Made Vacations!

This place had a lot of maintenance issues starting with the bathrooms and going onto the broken screens. The kitchen was very greasy. Stove and counter tops were dirty as were the dishes.

There were burn marks in the carpet, paint pealing, tables and chairs wabble, hot tub cover broken, fireplaces and TVs not working, tiles cracked on kitchen floor. To pay the money we did all of this should be taken care of before tenants arrived

This home was perfect for our family's long week-end getaway. It was spacious, clean and well equipped! We had plenty of room for our young adult children as well as our young grandchildren. The view was spectacular and this home had everything we needed plus more. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom...the living space was great as well as the kitchen, the hot tub and the many decks. We enjoyed it all and loved being together but having enough room for everyone to relax and have fun! We enjoyed driving down to the lake and hiking at the State Park. The best part was having our whole family together. Hopefully we will be able to come back again next year or in the near future.

First I would like to say; that your customer services and staff was great. I was really disappointed with the house. The home was run down and needed much cleaning. I really think it needs more work before you rent it out again. It was unacceptable and due to us having guest coming up, we wanted to change houses. Attach are images in this house: The couch downstairs was torn and red couch upstairs in the family room was dirty, dry wall patches was not completed, outlets not covered due to unfinished work, the home had massive cobwebs, bedroom screens were torn and this left our guest not being able to have used of the patio doors, the bedding linens had a bad sour smell and we had to wash them upon checking into the house, the pillows were old and stained we had request for new ones, most important for renting the house the Jacuzzi and our guest was not able to used it due to having a padlock. The Jacuzzi was offer for the rental and we should have been notified if it wasn’t working and I’m requesting a credit. You are welcome to reach out to me if you care about our concerns.

We rented Irvana for a family birthday celebration and s ski weekend for a group of 9 adults and my 2 grandchildren!! We arrived on Thursday with the beginning of what was to be a snowy weekend which was perferct as my grown children were ready to ski/snowboard. The house was a short 5 minute walk to th slope. The house was perfect for a large group and offered 2 choice of hang out space which was perfect for putting the 2 babies to bed. The dining area was great for big family dinners and the hot tub was a welcome relief for sore muscles after skiing. You definitely need 4 wheel drive on snowy days, which we all had! No one wanted to leave they they are already planning next years trip!

Our overall experience was wonderful as usual the house was very clean..we've stayed at this house for over 10 consecutive years and its showing its wear..pool table falling apart,dining table leg falling off..and in the living room a small tv in the corner if they removed the bulky wood case a nice big screen could be installed..signed up for next year with a hefty price increase..this would be fine if the property was better overall condition....looking forward to next year

Rented Irvana for a 30th birthday weekend. Had a fabulous time! Bathrooms were clean as were the bedrooms and the hot tub. Kitchen had a lot of nice appliance options, although we packed all our groceries and some pots/pans just to be safe. Fireplace was amazing! Pretty little neighborhood and great proximity to the mountain. A couple of people did a skiing day, although they didn't try out the ski-in / ski-out feature (they drove to the slopes) but we see the convenient access point. All in all a super fun weekend, and would definitely rent again1

We've rented this house for the week for the past two Thanksgivings. It's a beautiful location and a nice house. The only complaint is that the furniture downstairs is mostly unusable. It really needs to be replaced. The stuffing is coming out of the couch and you can't sit in the chair at all; the springs are showing and they are pushed down into the carpet.

Overall, this property was great! The location, the size, layout and views were great! The only real compliant we had was the kitchen was lacking some essentials and some of the appliances were a little dated. The only other complaint which is really due to mother nature is the amount of sun that comes in through the living room windows in the morning. It was so blinding that the children could not play in there until the sun shifted.

Several adults and I stayed at Irvana this past weekend. It was beautiful, as DCL always is. The house was in good condition, and the price was very reasonable. The only issue I had was with cleanliness in some of the bathrooms. It looked like they had not been properly cleaned, just quickly wiped down. Other than that, I would highly recommend staying here!
