Situated in Highlands, this charming cabin for £193 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Cozy and spacious two-bedroom, two bath cabin tucked in the woods offers great privacy, yet less than two miles from town with its unique shopping and dining. Summer and fall surrounds you in trees, spring offers ridge views, and always the sounds of a waterfall on Mirror Lake as you relax on the large wrap-around covered deck. The cabin has a lot of natural light and features a natural stone gas fireplace, fully stocked kitchen, large private master suite with queen bed and bath with stone shower, and comfortable guest bedroom with queen bed and nearby bath. The deck has four chairs and a glider on which to lie and read or take a snooze. Because the deck is covered, you can even sit and enjoy the rain on a summer afternoon. There is a picnic table on the deck for taking your meals, playing games,etc. This cabin offers high speed wireless internet; 32" Smart TV w access to RENTERS' streaming apps; DVD Blu-ray player; and bluetooth speaker for playing your music. Minimum stay is 3 days. Maximum stay is 15 days. Cancellations:100% refund (except VRBO's service fee) up to 14 days. 50% refund between 14 and 7 days; no refund after 7 days. Keywords: Cabin

I took my 87 year old mom to our happy place, Highlands, NC and stayed at this lovely cabin in the lovely woods near Mirror Lake. The cabin is decorated cuter than cute! We thoroughly enjoyed rocking on the HUGE porch and listening to the creek down below as well is in the evenings when it tends to rain in Highlands. We have been visiting Highlands for over 50 years and tend to stay in the Mirror Lake area which is a peaceful area and close to town.

Great cabin on mirror lake. Two bedrooms are on one level. Great covered porch. The house does not have AC but does have lots of fans and windows with screens. The parking space is tight for 2 small SUVs and is very hard to turn around when there are 2 cars. Easy check in and very close to downtown Highlands. Would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin! Location is terrific. Cabin was very clean and well stocked, especially if you choose to do some cooking. We didn't spend much time on the deck, but it was quiet/secluded. A hot tub would have been a definite bonus LOL. Thank you Campbells for having us!

Perfect spot for a quiet getaway to Highlands. The house had everything we needed for a working getaway to Highlands. Just a very short drive from the main strip and the perfect spot to dry off and warm up for us during a very rainy weekend!

Located among the trees and just a short drive from downtown Highlands, this cottage was perfect for our long weekend. We dined out for a meals so I cannot comment on the kitchen but we loved playing games by the fire and relaxing on the huge porch. We also enjoyed the drive through the Mirror Lake community. The fall colors were spectacular.

Very close to town on a beautiful secluded street in a gorgeous neighborhood, perfect for morning walks. My two girlfriends and I enjoyed very much our getaway here. The house is cozy and clean.

The property was everything described in their listing and more. It was impeccably clean, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and charming. Beautiful wrap around porch for sitting & visiting. And close to town as well as close proximity to the attractions we enjoyed. We'd definitely rent here again.

We loved this little cabin. It was decorated very nicely and was very clean. It was also nicely stocked which we really appreciate. Future improvement areas: stronger microwave and dryer, disposal for sink, and slimmer plates and bowls to better fit the smaller dishwasher Thank you so much for a lovely stay! We did see a momma bear and 2 cubs on the porch, but they just look in, walk around, and leave.

My sister and I had the pleasure of staying at Holly and Gary’s cabin in Highlands for a week. It was wonderful. Everything they advertise is exactly what you get. The place is clean and well stocked. Their driveway takes you to the top of the road where the cabin is. They have a huge deck . When you look down from the deck you can see some cabins way below. You are not isolated, but you have total privacy. The deck is surrounded by trees. It’s like being in a treehouse. I woke up early every morning and just sat on this deck having my coffee, and listening to the sounds of the birds perched in the beautiful trees.The cabin is less than 10 minutes away from the town of Highlands. I would definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed a week at the well appointed cabin. The gas fireplace was a welcome addition for the cooler rainy days to keep us warm and cozy. The location was just a short distance to the restaurants, shopping and waterfalls in the area. Hosts are friendly and responsive to our texts and emails regarding the area. We would recommend Mirror Lake Cabin and would stay again.

Quaint, comfortable and immaculately clean ! Laurel Loft is the perfect spot for a weekend or a week. The check-in process was simple and the house instructions were very helpful. My only caution is that the parking is a little tight for a full size truck. Due to the terrain, this is typical for most mountain properties,

We absolutely loved this cabin! Even though it was on a street with lots of houses, it felt very private and peaceful. The cabin itself was super clean and cozy and we felt right at home. Very convenient to downtown Highlands and so many great hiking options. Highly recommend!

Loved this adorable place! Great thing, there was NO tv so perfect for interacting with your group vs. watching the "tube". Hiking, shopping, sightseeing during the day- an all around wonderful getaway. Was there with my adult daughters and after each full day of excursions, we just chilled......would highly recommend Laurel Loft.

We love coming to the North Carolina mountains, especially in the fall. This sweet little cabin was perfect, plenty of houses nearby but in the woods so it was very private. We loved sitting on the large deck. We had a peaceful, relaxing fall break!

This cabin is tucked away and secluded but only a few minutes drive from Highlands. We enjoyed the time of peace and quiet and the cool mornings on the deck with a hot cup of coffee. The interior was cozy and comfortable.
