What's nearby: Several dining options, including Lulu's with its beautiful sunsets, are within walking distance. Indian Rocks Historical Museum and Splash Harbour Water Park are also within walking distance. Three miles east, you'll find Florida Botanical Gardens, and the Clearwater Marine Aquarium is eight miles north. Popular activities in the area include boating and fishing. Things to know: New home under construction on next lot over Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. This rental is located on floor 1. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation. We contacted Vacasa and informed them of the AC being out the am after we checked in. The second night maintenance brought us two fans and 1 heater. AC was turned off to unfreeze and another maintenance man showed up and turned it back on. Resulted in another day to unfreeze all over. The AC was completely out of Freon which we mentioned and it was their “last” option to review and check.
The door knob “stuck”, the blinds were broke. We loved the location and the items we had to use for the beach. Other family members had condos in the same building. This unit by far smelled the most “musty”. (Other family members were facing Ocean and 1 was on same floor as this unit). Not having the AC running for the majority of nights was almost unbearable for our kids.

We had never stayed on the west coast of Florida. Luckily we stayed here and had a wonderful time. The beach is gorgeous and the pool was warm. Highly recommend this condo for your stay.

The view was great. The condo needs serious upgrading. The carpet was old and dirty. Rain came in through the patio doors making the situation worse. We could never get the manager to return calls or texts. The silverware was rusted, the pots and pans were scratched and chipped. The bathroom smelled like a sewer and the lights were falling off the wall. It took 3 days before we got the toilets fixed. The noise from the unit upstairs was unbearable. Sleeping was difficult. There was trash under the beds. I am so sorry to be reporting all this but something needs to be done. The dressers were unusable as they had holes in the drawers or they didn’t open. For what we paid, what a disappointment! Unfortunately we had booked 2 weeks and we’re stuck.

Casa de Playa 204 was well equipped with all the amenities that we needed and more. Please be sure to check out the guest bedroom closet for beach gear along with the lower level closet. The master had a king size bed and the couch has a pull out bed. There were 6 beach towels for our use. There’s a washer and dryer in the condo and a regular coffee maker. Internet worked great along with Spectrum cable TV. The beach is only a few steps away and was only used by those staying around the area. There is construction next door that started Friday before our departure on Saturday that is very loud and emitted diesel fuel smells from the crane being used. Work started at 8:30am and ended around 4pm. The balcony provided perfect views of the beautiful sunsets. We had an issue with the pool access keys but eventually Vacasa resolved this after a few phone calls. We would love to stay at this condo again but not until the construction has been completed because our peaceful vacation turned into an Earth shaken, loud, and smelly last day.

We’ve stayed at many condos on the beach. Think only is problem our favorites
The only negative, was the only television we could get to work, was in the second bedroom. Reported it but no one ever got back to us. Other than that, everything else was perfect.

We enjoyed our stay at this condo. Conveniently located to plenty of restaurants and beach was not crowded at all. Pool was heated as well. Our only slightly negative is the sheets/bed in the master was a bit uncomfortable. Other than that, this condo was amazing and would highly recommend.

I cleaned out the tracks which helped significantly but they probably need to be lubricated. Other than these things, we had a great time! The whole process of renting the property went well. A couple thoughts for improving the unit: 1) the locker was not clearly marked as I we could not find it (faded numbers?) 2) the furniture in the second bedroom is low quality and the mattress on the full bed perhaps needs to be updated.

Wonderful Beachfront Rental
We stayed in this condo for a week and loved everything about it but mostly the direct gulf view from the large covered balcony! Also, the layout is great, it’s fully furnished, extremely clean & has a well equipped kitchen. Covered/assigned parking, elevator access and you walk through the pool / summer kitchen and are just steps to the water. The team from Vacasa was wonderful. Easy to book, great communication and follow up. I can’t wait to go back!

Unresponsive
Our very first day we had contact with our property manager. Asked her to get back with me before we leave in 3 weeks with her business card and potential properties for next year.
Never heard back from her or her company Vacasa. We did our own research and booked for 5 weeks next year through Long Key Rentals.

The condo was comfortable and well equipped. The view from the balcony was outstanding. Angela and the staff at Vacasa did a great job making our stay enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again.
