Situated in Round Hill Village, this attractive house for £1,574 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Tahoe Blue Estate is an 8,640 square foot spectacular home built on a bluff at the top of Kingsbury Grade. Tahoe Blue Estate offers you and your guests a secluded getaway with phenomenal 360 views of beautiful Lake Tahoe from nearly every room that will take your breath away! Many rooms also have spectacular views of the Heavenly Ski resort along with hundreds of acres of forest. Sitting on over 1.7 acres, the gated estate offers a private mountain getaway for the ultimate in relaxation, yet is less than a 10 minute drive to the casinos and downtown South Lake. The home includes 7 bedrooms (one of which is semi-private), 7.5 baths and plenty of room for entertaining. Enjoy the sunset over the lake in the beautiful indoor spa or rack a game of pool and watch a movie in the recreational room! The kitchen is equipped with top-of-the-line professional appliances (including two dishwashers, an espresso machine, and a Viking range), sure to impress any chef. Once you have prepared you meal, enjoy it with your guests on our custom built dining room table that sits 18. Have a drink and enjoy the views at either of the two bars or sit and relax with company in front of the fireplace. The main master includes a soaking tub, fireplace and seating area, and three of the seven bedrooms are mini masters with their own private bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms and the semi-private room are located in a separate, fully equipped apartment (including a full kitchen) that can be accessed through the house or through a separate entrance, making the home perfect for multiple families! There is also a 2 car garage and a large heated drive to fit a total of 9 cars. Numerous other luxury amenities and high end details throughout the home will allow you to experience the best of Tahoe and a getaway unlike any other! If you are staying with us in the winter, a day of skiing or snowboarding is easy to plan with the estate being only 0.5 miles from the Boulder lift/lodge and 1.5 miles from the Stagecoach lift/lodge, both of which are a part of the Heavenly Mountain. For those coming during the warmer months, there are plenty of great hiking and biking trails in the area, and the beaches are a 10 - 15 min drive down the mountain. No matter what time of year, Tahoe Blue Estate is sure to provide you with the vacation of your dreams! -Please Note - -We like to inform all guests that we do have a ring doorbell and outdoor security cameras that record motion. Their purpose is to record outside activity while the property is vacant and nothing more. This is my 3rd ski trip to South Lake Tahoe and best one yet.
Best parts:
1. The views from this house are unreal and every room has a view.
2. Having a hot tub and sauna after skiing all day

House was perfect for 3 families staying together. Every amenity needed, very private, lots of room and a ridiculous good master bath. Hot tub and sauna def perfect after long days on slopes. Great communication and honestly nothing I would suggest to change. Thanks for a great trip!

This property was hands down the best place I have ever been to. We had our whole wedding here (rehearsal dinner, ceremony, & reception).
Let me first start by saying how amazing Lindsay the property manager is. She was always so fast to answer questions (planning a wedding from far away was stressful but she sure did make it easier). She was so friendly during our tour and even quick to answer my questions through text during our stay. When we left we had forgotten to drop off some of our rentals and she was willing to take time out of her day to drop it off for us. What an awesome person to work with!
Second, the property was more than we could ask for. The pictures just don’t do it justice. All of my guests couldn’t believe their eyes. It had a ton of amenities to keep a big group busy for days. We never felt the need to leave the house for entertainment!!
Lastly, if you are thinking of choosing this as a wedding venue, don’t even think twice about it. It was the best time of my life. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and I am so happy I came across this beautiful house.

We stayed here a few weeks ago for our annual family ski trip and everyone is still talking about it! You can only plan so much and took a chance on the weather. The last of our party got in Friday evening just as a major storm was moving in. What a great place to be snowed in for a few days!
Setting up the reservation and checking in was so easy. Even with a storm moving in Lindsay met us upon arrival to let us in and go through the property to show us everything. The home is absolutely beautiful and all of the features are amazing. As you walk in there is a wonderful waterfall that you control throughout your stay. The kitchen has everything you need and very organized. (The grocery store is 10 min down the road). The stunning dining room table overlooks the mountains and the lake. The layout of the home is perfect for family accommodations. The master bedroom also has fantastic views of the lake with its own fireplace and the master bath has full walk in closet (for all the bulky skiwear) and the floors are even heated. Three other guest rooms are on the same side and each with its own bath and two with balconies. On the other side of the home has an ideal set up for family with small children. It has three bedrooms in close proximity and even has a kitchenette in one of the rooms. It was like a private cabin within the home and worked well for my nephew and his family that joined us. The kids loved the bunkbeds! Downstairs is the pool table, full length bar, pool table and enclosed sauna and hot tub.
We have stayed in many places listed on VRBO each unique in its own way but this home was so well thought out and just made our vacation truly memorable. The location is a 10 minute drive to Boulder Lodge Tahoe where you can purchase ski lift tickets and pick up your ski rentals. This will definitely be our home away from home whenever we are in the Tahoe area again!

We are so thrilled we stayed here for our wedding! We wanted something different, relaxed but classy for our wedding. Everything was clean and easy to use. The views of course were breathtaking and the perfect setting. Lindsay couldn’t be more helpful! She answered all of my questions quickly and reassured me with everything! We had to make some changes in our ceremony because of the snow but it all worked out for the best. We got so many compliments from our guests and our chef really loved the kitchen. Keep in mind: if you’re doing an event here you will have sore legs by the end of the stay! The whole experience was wonderful and we will definitely book again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We expected this home to comfortably accommodate us and it exceeded our expectations. The home held up well under some pretty extreme weather conditions (100 mph wind gusts & 5’ snow in 36 hrs). When utility power was lost the back up generators performed as designed.
The only downside was the driveway heaters were not able to run while on back up power. That inconvenience was quickly mitigated with the arrival of a snow removal service.
Overall this was a wonderful family experience!

We booked this property for a place for my family to stay centrally during our destination wedding weekend. The home is spacious enough for privacy of each guest, but central enough to feel like a true family vacation home. The amenities are endless including a kitchen with every small appliance you can imagine, a jacuzzi and sauna, pool table, large outdoor entertaining space, board games, and a large custom built dining table that seats the entire family. The 360 panoramic lake/mountain views are unparalleled at any other accommodation you can find in the area. Lastly, Lindsay (the estate manager) is thorough in her check-in and makes moving in and out as smooth as possible. She was available for any questions during our stay, which was appreciated. Lindsay even went above and beyond and mailed us an item we left behind (thanks again so much, Lindsay!!!!) Don’t hesitate to book Tahoe Blue Estate for your next vacation to Lake Tahoe.

We checked into the property on Wednesday for a Friday wedding (I was the bride). Leading up to our stay, I had constant communication with Lindsay for anything I needed. She had great communication, answered my questions quickly via text, and let us visit the property to plan the wedding twice prior to our stay. Our group of 14 spent 4 amazing days of relaxing family vacation at the venue including throwing a wedding in there. Unfortunately, wildfire smoke blew into cover the entire venue hours before our wedding. Because of how great the house is, we were able to get all 50+ of our guests and vendors into the house for dinner and reception easily, so plan B was easy for weather accommodations if you’re hosting an event. We did the top tier rental package and all rentals (tables chairs linens) were in good shape and easy to set up / tear down (we did it ourselves). We also used the venue provided glassware and cutlery to host a rehearsal dinner at the house Thursday. Finally, we loved having the option to use coolers, beach chairs, and blankets for a fall beach day on Saturday (8 min drive). The main complaint we see on these reviews is the noise restriction. We had live music and a loud fun party all night for the wedding and had zero issues with the noise level, cops, etc. so if you ask me- no issues there!

We had a great time here- group of 11 family members for a week- the house is spacious with room for everybody to hang out or find a quiet place to relax . The views were outstanding and the house had everything you need for a family vacation. It’s extremely well appointed but also very comfortable. Highly recommend . Our stay was amazing! We had a large group for my husbands 50th birthday, age range from babies to grandparents. Plenty of room (sometimes too much, we each got lost in the house at least once!) it never felt crowded, plenty of bathrooms and the house was equipped with everything we needed. Check in /out was easy and accurate. Loved our stay, so much fun, house absolutely amazing!!!

This place is absolutely incredible and Lindsay is an amazing property manager. My husband and I got married April 2 at the estate and it was everything we could have asked for and more. The venue is clean and had everything we needed, the views were so much more incredible than the pictures can show and everything was just perfect. This was a great venue for us as we had about 30 guests and many of them stayed with us in the house. The whole weekend felt like a fun getaway family vacation and multiple guests remarked that they felt like they had their own vacation. If you have any doubts about booking this place for a smaller, low key but gorgeous and personal wedding, look no further! Thank you Lindsay and everyone for making this weekend one of the best of our lives!!!!

The property and management is outstanding overall. It’d be a huge help if the one car garage (out of the 3 overall) was available for guests to use. Nit picking: light switches can be confusing (even though most are labeled)- there’s a ton of them and takes half a day to figure them all out.

Wedding of Our Dreams
The Tahoe Blue Estate exceeded all expectations. We stayed at the house and got married at the ceremony site in December 2021.
The house manager, Lindsay, was absolutely instrumental in making our special day possible. She was extremely easy to get in contact with and went above and beyond to accommodate any request we brought her.
The home itself is stunning and was impeccably clean upon our arrival. There was no shortage of space for family and friends!
For those looking for an intimate wedding, it is the perfect destination. The view from the house/ceremony site is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. Pictures honestly don’t do it justice. As the florist told me, it is the most beautiful view in Lake Tahoe.
We are so thankful for our time spent at Tahoe Blue and will cherish the memories we created there!

Over Exceeded Expectations
This was one of our best VRBO experiences of all time. First of all, the VIEWS! This home is everything you see pictured & more. It was well stocked with essentials, well labeled, and any thing we couldn't figure out on our own we were able to easily get ahold of and eager to help address. The entire family had only good things to say, and they never agree on anything. We would definitely consider renting again.

If you plan on having a similar event, just be cognizant of the sound & parking restrictions in this community. Not terribly inconvenient, but something that needs to be managed.

As a wedding venue - 3/10. If I knew then what I know now, I would have only the ceremony here. Things started going downhill about a month and a half before our wedding when the county changed the ordinances: quiet hours changed from 10p-8a to 9p-7p (the AM time might be slightly off), absolutely no dancing outside and music/sound to be kept a lower level. We realized it was not TBE's fault, but we would now have to pay to have another area of the house decorated & pay for movers in order to have space to have the party inside. The owners offered to refund us our stay if we no longer wanted to have the wedding there, but were unwilling to help cover the cost of the movers. They said we could move it ourselves - which is very unreasonable considering the cost of this rental & this is for a wedding intending to happen the day after. In the end we did move the furniture ourselves at midnight because the company recommended by the house was unresponsive & we didn't believe they would show up on time the day of the wedding. We didn't have much of a choice a month & a half before the wedding between having all the vendors booked & the fact that 90% of the guests were coming from Florida & even Hong Kong. We had to sign a new agreement where all the updated points were in bold black letters. About 2 weeks later the Caldor fires happened. I went back to the contract & noticed that they snuck in a clause about not being able to cancel etc due to fires/smoke. This was not in the contract when we booked & not in bold in the updated contract. They were only will to refund us if we cancelled in the next 4 DAYS because, verbatim, "the thought process is that'll give the owners enough time to rebook since it's about 20 days away" or if at the day before check-in conditions hadn't improved. They were willing to refund us in the case of the ordinances, but wouldn't work with us when it came to the fires. It just felt really insensitive & classless. The day of the wedding I'm, THE BRIDE, getting calls & texts about clapping during dinner & they knew we'd be moving inside within the hour. In short, if you have hopes of anything outside of a ceremony outdoors - find somewhere else. This property will just bring you headaches and incredible logistical challenges if you want your cocktail hour and dinner outside.

Best venue/property in Lake Tahoe
Let me just say that pictures do not do Tahoe Blue Estate justice. Every detail of this home is beautiful, luxurious, and timeless, you can see that the owners and management team took their time to perfect this home for guests to enjoy to the fullest. My husband and I were blessed enough to have our wedding at Tahoe Blue Estate on 10/11/21 and we couldn’t be more thankful for the great atmosphere this estate provided. I can’t finish this review without stating how absolutely amazing the General Manager, Lindsay Congdon is. Without her our wedding would not have been possible. Our original date had to be postponed due to the Caldor Fire and Lindsay was there to help reschedule immediately with so much empathy and kindness. Lindsay is so great at communication and has assisted us above and beyond. She is a true gem both professionally and as a person, she made the stay at the estate even better. We had the opportunity to also speak with the owners of the estate and Natasha Hughes, all so professional, kind, and truly hospitable. There is so much beauty all over Lake Tahoe, including this estate, but it would be just another home without this amazing management team at Tahoe Blue. If you are considering a wedding at Tahoe Blue this is your sign to do it! My husband and I can’t wait to one day return to this beautiful estate and and cherish the memories made there. Look no further this is the best stay in Lake Tahoe. Thank you to the great cleaning staff, management, and owners, for such an unforgettable time and to let people experience all Tahoe Blue Estate has to offer.

WOW! So, we were one of those couples. We became engaged in 2019 and planned our wedding for October of 2020. Deciding on a small remote gathering and ceremony in the mountains. We wanted to have our parents, officiant, and a handful of close friends to celebrate with us.
Tahoe was where I wanted to make these memories because it is one of my favorite places to spend time year around doing all the activities.
We searched and searched and found this amazing gem and booked January 2020. Then... COVID, you know the story. There was a lot of stress on how to proceed however, unlike so many other couples we were fortunate that it all worked out.
With safety measures in place, loved ones feeling safe, and our fantastic hosts Natasha and Dyani we were able to have our intimate wedding in the most beautiful, surreal, and magical setting.
Just like every wedding things didn't go as planned, things were delayed, ceremony sites were changed, but it all worked out because we were surround by love and laughter in this estate.
It was all we hoped for and more! The pictures do not do it justice. Hey, y'all there is a hi-tech espresso/latte whatever you want maker?!?!?! It was a gamechanger and my lifesaver!
There is a beautiful bathtub that we didn't utilize besides for pictures!
While you have to go upstairs to go downstairs. :)
There is so much room for activities! The list goes on and on.
Everything was immaculate! My loved ones talk about it often and we are all pretty sure no one can top the simplicity and beauty of that long weekend.
When you stay here because if you are looking at this, you should... do yourself a favor and look out as much as you can. Soak in the views, the energy, mountains, trees, the lake, the sky... the sunsets and sunrises, the stars, the smell, the sounds. I did it ALL the time and it still wasn't enough.
We cannot wait to come back with a few less of our loved ones (even though all 22 fit)... just to relax and appreciate the beauty.
