Situated in Longboat Key, this attractive condo for £78 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Adorable and only 50 steps to awesome Longboat beach directly across the street is the beach access. This is a very private part of Longboat and often you will not see a soul. I was visiting in the height of season and only saw a handful of people. If it is privacy you want you got it. It is all brand new with a Queen bed and sleeper sofa for sleeping arrangements. It has all new appliances with a dishwasher too. Beautiful and a great escape! Beach directly across the street about 50 steps. You can hear and see the Gulf from your unit. Everyone falls in love with my unit. A large shopping plaza, Avenue of the Flowers, is behind the complex, offering a large grocery store, wine and liquor store, drug store, video rentals, specialty shops, and restaurants. High quality Municipal Tennis Courts are one block away and a four-foot wide sidewalk extends for most of Longboat Key with seven to eight miles for jogging, rollerblading, walking, and biking, and walking your dog. One can also walk the beach for the same distance, and shelling is a favorite activity. There are also bike lanes on both sides of Gulf of Mexico Drive for extreme bike riders. Longboat Key is a very upscale barrier island which is connected by bridges to Anna Maria Key to the North and St. Armand's Key and Sarasota to the South. Sarasota Airport is an easy 15-20 minute drive and Tampa International Airport is an hour's drive North. 2 miles from the famous and lovely St. Armands Circle. Walk or take the Trolley or park in the many spaces provided.

Second time staying at The Neptune. Best prices on Longboat Key to walk out and onto the beach. Cute, cozy, clean, and functional. I work remote, was able to have room for all my equipment, great wi-fi, quiet area. Lunches at the beach and a swim. Thats my kind of work day! So many wonderful things to see and do in the area. Cant wait to visit again.

Hard to enjoy screened patio because of air conditioner . So much noise. So glad to find a dog friendly condo. Close to Publix grocery store. Loved the beach.

My dog and I stayed at Mark’s property for a month and it was just perfect. Nothing fancy and minimal amenities, but boy did the location (across the street from the beach) make up for any imperfections. The Wi-Fi worked great. The screened in porch was perfect for me and especially my dog. Mark was great and easy to communicate with. I had everything I needed at the condo! I will absolutely be back next year. Highly recommend!

Mark was an incredible host, I stayed through hurricane Ian and he stayed in constant contact to update me on town alerts and to just make sure I was safe. The property far exceeded my expectations. Everything you need and really nothing you don’t. The location is perfect and mark let me in on lots of little hints for getting around and such. I will definitely look at marks listings anytime I need a place to stay. I am very thankful for an amazing stay

This was our 1st time on vacation in years. We’ve never done anything other then hotels so this was a new experience for us. Location is great. Place was clean and ready before check in. I misread check out time, as we were leaving cleaning person was coming in. She was nice and kindly waited for us to grab the dogs and run. Since we have an Autistic son mornings can be rough. Had I realized check out was 10am I would of asked for an extension or perhaps found something with later check out. All in all the owners were very responsive when we had a worry or question. Towels had spots on them wish they looked cleaner but probably had to do with families renting. We didn’t use the beach stuff but having it there is a nice touch. Wish the couch was facing the TV and a ceiling fan in the bedroom is a must! Bedroom gets a lot warmer then the rest of the place but as the owner suggested we shut other vents to push AC into the room and used the box fan. That did help greatly!! Disclaimer because of my lung issues I keep out place at 65-68 so I am used to a very VERY cold place so don’t let the no ceiling fan deter you. For the price it’s a good deal. We would gladly come back.

Stayed at this condo while in town for a tennis tournament at the nearby Town Center. My wife and I and two small dogs loved the location-easy walking distance to beach, shopping center, and tennis center. Condo was in good shape, and check-in process was very easy. We had a couple questions at arrival that owner answered quickly. And the weather definitely beat what we left at home!

Our stay was ok for the $. It wasn’t until after I committed to our stay that I realized there wasn’t a pool. (No cancellation refunds.) The traffic noise was awful. The condo was surfacely clean. It could use a deep cleaning, especially since pets are allowed. The furniture arrangement was strange. Two people cannot comfortably sit on the couch to relax and watch TV. (Cable selection too limited.) The owner states do not move the furniture. Suggestion: Move the dining room table where the couch is and vice versa. The cocktail table in front of the couch. The TV/armoire on the wall directly in front of the cocktail table and couch. Get rid of the lounger which is taking up valuable space. The glass bathroom sink is impractical. No where to set personal belongings. The shower is nice. The Ninja coffee maker was also nice. Provided toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, etc., etc., were an appreciated touch. Incorporating these suggestions would make for a more comfortable and pleasant stay. The owner was quick to respond to our needs.

We had a great time!!! Wonderful condo right across from beach access. Quiet location as well!!! It had everything we needed there was no shortage of towels, blankets, beach towels, pillows or anything you could think of. After traveling from philly at 4am we got there early and were able to go to the condo early which we really appreciated. A quick text to the owner and a quick response was so convenient. I have nothing negative to say! We enjoyed our stay and for 2-4 people would love to stay there again!

This was our 3rd visit to Mark's properties and each time has been better . Terrific place for our dog, great walks in the neighborhood. Fun for my wife and I enjoying breakfast on the balcony watching the sea birds and the ocean view across the street. Highly recommended. Mark is very upfront and attentive to any of our queries.

I was looking for a place that was close to the beach, with a full kitchen and good air conditioning. This place had everything I needed. I’m glad there was only two of us though. Had we invited more people, they would’ve been sleeping on living room couches. I would definitely stay here again :)

We brought our two puppies to Longboat Key at a great price. This condo was perfect and right across the street from a quiet public beach. Maybe 3 cars there at a time. It was perfect. We will come back.

I loved this condo. It was in the perfect location. The road you had to cross , to get to the beach was a little busy but people were very nice and would stop and allow you to cross. I would stay here again. Great location and great price. Thank you very much.

This property is a great value for the stay. First, Mark was very responsive we our booking. It's easy to find via google maps. And the location is convenient to the grocery store (literally walking distance of 5 mins max) and right across the street from beach access. The unit itself is simple nothing fancy but had all the conveniences needed for a stay (kitchen use) and nicely decorated and clean. It's a smaller unit comfortable for 2 people (a third person if needed, but 4 people would be cramped) and pictures are true to form. During our stay, there were hardly other tenants on the property so it was extremely quiet. Inside the unit you could not hear the traffic noise. The balcony was screened which was great! But the loud air conditioner fan can startle you once it kicks on every so often. There were plenty of towels and beach items (chairs and cooler) provided. And there was a paid laundry facility ($4 for wash and dry) on property which was very nice to have access. The property itself is well lit at night and I felt completely safe, which is nice, but I had to hang a large towel against the window to block the light coming into the bedroom. Longboat Key itself is an interesting city. There's lots of restrictions on many levels - absolutely no dogs on the beach, specific type of car (trucks & RV's or Truck campers) parking restrictions everywhere on most properties, and it's a mostly older population. With that being said it's worth a visit and stay and I would definitely stay again in the future at this unit.

Mark was very accommodating during our stay going beyond the expected. The condo was perfect for my wife and me. Clean, well appointed, and excellent WiFi. The kitchen had everything we needed including staple cooking utensils/dishes, spices and some condiments. The beach is literally right across the street, and Mark has beach chairs, umbrella, towels and various other beach accessories available. The location is perfect with Publix, CVS and a few other shops being within a few minutes walk. We would definitely return, and would recommend it.
