Welcome to Paradise! We hope to host your stay! B2 is located within the Mauna Lani Resort at The Islands at a private, gated community situated along the famed fairways of Mauna Lani golf course. Handsome townhomes set within gardens of flowering plumeria, hibiscus and ginger and tranquil ponds, The Islands at Mauna Lani offer the luxurious comforts of vacation living along with the amenities of a fine resort. This two story vacation home is a 2 bedroom plus a loft with 2.5 bathrooms. Our home features King sized beds in dual master suites with private bathrooms and views of the golf course from practically every room. An upstairs loft includes a bunk bed for the kids. Each bedroom is furnished with a flat screen TV and the large open kitchen has dual ovens, granite counter upgrades, and a sub-zero fridge. There is also a half bathroom on the main floor for visitors. The crisp decor of the living room extends to the outside lanai perfect for family entertainment and BBQs. The home is fully air conditioned with open access to private patios through both of the master bedrooms. Breezes from the gentle trade winds will remind you that you really are in Paradise. For the exclusive use of Islands residents is a pool and recreation complex where water falls over a rock grotto into a free form swimming pool and including two entertainment pavilions, a whirlpool spa, full kitchen and professional quality, gas barbecues. The outdoor Lanai is equipped with a BBQ, sink, and lots of seating space with views of the lusciously green fairway. Listen to the friendly morning chirp of the unique Island bird species while watching the sun rise over the horizon. The Islands is located near the Mauna Lani Spa, the Beach, Golf, Tennis and Racquet club, the Mauna Lani Bay Hotel, the Fairmont Orchid Hotel, and the newly constructed Shops at Mauna Lani. We had a wonderful time in Donna's home.
The home met all of our expectations and more. The location is perfect. it is better than the what the pictures show. You would not regret booking this property.

Overall, a great location and wonderful stay. We had an issue at check in with the VRBO instructions that were sent. It was handled by the owner once I was able to get in contact with her. The other minor issue we had was the beach club access card was not there but it was brought to us the next day. Beds were comfortable, layout was great. The AC didn’t circulate very well into the loft area with the bunk beds and it was hard to fall asleep out there. Everything we could have wanted/needed for the beach was provided - boogie boards, snorkels, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach toys. The beach club access parking was great. Overall, I would recommend this property.

Islands B2 exceeded expectations. It is a private, spacious, well designed, property where everything has been thought of. The location was the best we've experienced at Mauna Lani, and we had great walks to the coastal trails every morning.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful townhouse. It was clean, comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. We felt pampered and loved that there was a touch of opulence alongside the welcoming coziness. This made for a relaxing and special getaway!

This property is beautifully decorated in island theme. The well stocked kitchen provides ability to make wonderful meals with bountiful farmer’s markets and fresh seafood and beef as ingredients, locally sourced. The pool and its waterfall will relax you. The white sand beach is wonderful, but the protected bay it lines is a snorkeler’s paradise. Saw almost everything on snorkel Bob’s fish chart. We will definitely rent here again next time to the big island.

We had an amazing time staying here. The house was very well equipped and quite luxurious. The property manager was so easy to communicate with too. Would totally recommend this house. A car is recommended if you are planning on leaving the resort.

We so enjoyed our stay! Great location to stay at! We had lots of space and able to easily get around with a car. Wish we had use of a place to rent bikes so we could get to the beach easier. The local area was convenient to get groceries as well as acquire a few excursion necessities. Thanks so much for opening your home to us! Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed and we also made use of the coolers in the garage for our excursion days around the island. Great memories were made for all of us! Donna was very responsive when we had any questions during our stay.

This was our first time using VRBO for our Big Island vacation, and will not be our last. Islands B2 is amazing, the pictures do not do this property justice. Lots of space for our group of 4, would be very comfortable for a family of 6.
The area is very quiet and convenient to beaches, shopping and all the BI has to offer. There is a very lovely pool area less than 100 steps away, and all the grounds were very well maintained. We were very impressed with how well stocked the condo was, the only thing we had to buy was a few spices and oil and some extra paper towels.
B2 was very, very clean upon our arrival and available for an early check in which was greatly appreciated. Donna was a joy to deal with, although we really didn't need her for anything..
We highly recommend this condo 5 Stars all the way.

This property on the Big Island was beautiful and located in an ideal location to amazing beaches. The home has all essentials you will need for your stay (beach towels/beach supplies, soap, cleaners, spices/cooking essentials, etc.). The property manager promptly responded to our texts. This property is exactly as shown on Vrbo. My family of six had plenty of room for our 2 week stay. We loved it!

Nice quiet place with good amenities
Very good, almost secluded, location with minimal noise. Extra amenities such as access to the Mauna Lani beach club was a very nice extra.

This place had everything! The whole Island property is truly a piece of paradise. The kitchen is beautiful and well stocked. The view from every room was gorgeous, overlooking the 16th hole. The beds felt like heaven. The attention to detail was 5 star! Our host, she is amazing!! The little store just a golf cart away had a huge selection of stuff, with great wines and out of this world poke! The beaches and trails are all just a golf cart away. This place had everything! The whole Island property is truly a piece of paradise. The kitchen is beautiful and well stocked. The view from every room was gorgeous, overlooking the 16th hole. The beds felt like heaven. The attention to detail was 5 star! Our host, she is amazing!! The little store just a golf cart away had a huge selection of stuff, with great wines and out of this world poke! The beaches and trails are all just a golf cart away. We really enjoyed the location of the condo. The Islands at Mauna Lani is an older, quieter neighborhood that is central to the entire resort (beach club, shopping, etc.). The manager, Donna Brucado, is highly professional and was easy to work with. She communicated clearly and followed up whenever we had a question or need.

We really enjoyed the location of the condo. The Islands at Mauna Lani is an older, quieter neighborhood that is central to the entire resort (beach club, shopping, etc.). Beautiful location. Unit was nice and had many extras. Kitchen was infested with bugs. It got worse every day that we were there. Sprayed for bugs every day we were there, but every day they got worse.

True to the description and reviews
Reviewers were spot on - this place is extremely well equipped from the kitchen to the books and games to the pool toys! Very quiet location with great views from the lanais. Donna was super responsive to our needs during our stay.
We had a super relaxing time in this unit and hope to stay here again some day.

We have had favorites of course, but the Islands at Mauna Lani were new to us and they looked better than anything we had experienced. So we gambled and tried something new. And how glad we are that we did! This unit specifically (B2) is stunning! No less than 4 lanai's!!! The 2 lower are so secluded that you feel mostly isolated in that beautifully appointed condo. It was close to the beach club and had every possible beach amenity in the garage (that you can also use). Donna was available as we needed but we needed really nothing. Our stay was perfect. The house spotless and impeccably designed. We will be back, should life give us a 37th :).

We have had favorites of course, but the Islands at Mauna Lani were new to us and they looked better than anything we had experienced. So we gambled and tried something new. Return to Paradise
Perfect location! Quiet gated community on a golf course. Landscaping was fantastic. Great accommodations for 2 couples. The private beach card for a big plus! Beach restaurant was handy during the day and evenings as well ( Just remember to make reservations!) Cabanas and chairs available to early birds. Ice chest was a great benefit. We had a wonderful time at our Vrbo in paradise🏝

Beautiful property, not the nicest communication
COVID makes everything more difficult and tense so this might be the reasoning behind some curt and rude communication with the property owner. We were so excited to come to HI and had to jump through hoops to make it there. Donna was very nice with me during the booking process but was not polite to my 73 year old mom who was asking for details about check-in and location and inadvertently replied on the wrong VRBO thread. Made us all a little sad and added to the stress of the trip. Otherwise, the property was beautiful and our family enjoyed their stay.

Simply Incredible - Favorite VRBO home and neighborhood
We greatly enjoyed our 10-day stay! This is our favorate VRBO home in all of our travels. The two master suites, each with their own balcony made our two families extremely comfortable. The thought that went into stocking the kitchen (pots, pans, baking dishes, glasses, party-ware, knives, blender, dinner plates, outdoor lunch plates, utensils, serving dishes., and more....) and the beach toys (umbrellas, a wagon to pull the gear, beach chairs, beach towels, sand toys, boogie boards, and more...) was simply fantastic and appreciated, as they were all put to great use. We cooked in almost every day and enjoyed the outside dining on the lanai, which is nicely protected even when it was windy. Gorgeous view of the golf course and no neighbors in sight. We felt nicely secluded. Access to the private beach club was awesome and was one of our favorite beaches on this trip. The snorkeling on the reefs right off the shore was the best of the week. Proximity to the pool was perfect with it just down the block. Mornings and early afternoons at the pool were not crowded and the pool worked well for dive toys and play in the waterfall. Communications before and during our stay were quick and responsive. If we are back on the Big Island, this will be our home away from home again without a doubt. It really was hands-down our favorite VRBO in our extensive travel experience for the home itself and location.

Great condo
We had a wonderful stay at this property. The condo was very well equipped. Lots of supplies in the kitchen as well as things for the pool and beach including beach chairs, sand toys, floaties, umbrella, wagon. We were traveling with our two small children and there was a baby gate that could be attached to the top of the stairs as well as a pack and play and high chair. Would definitely recommend this place.
