It is a 2-3 minute walk to the beach. Restaurants and shops are very close by. Everything is a short bike ride away or you can hop on the free AMI trolley to get up and down the island with ease as well. Come play in paradise at Coastal Queen for your next beach vacation! *Please note: 4 cars maximum are able to park at this home. We ask our guests to please plan accordingly and coordinate with your group. There is no overnight parking available for additional vehicles. This property allows pets - there will be an additional pet fee associated. AMI Locals Pet Policy: Dogs are allowed under certain conditions and ALL animals, including service animals, must be disclosed and approved prior to arrival. We cannot accept cats. *Please note that there will be an additional non-refundable pet fee charged upon approval by AMI Locals.* Weight limit of 50 lbs max total for 1 or 2 dogs combined. No dangerous breeds allowed. Please see our AMI Locals Rental Policies for full details. This home is managed by AMI Locals, an Anna Maria Island property management company. We do not accept reservations from anyone under 25 years of age. We do not allow persons under 25 to occupy a property unless accompanied by someone over 25 years of age. *The City of Anna Maria, Holmes Beach, and Bradenton Beach all have noise ordinance policies in place, and they are enforced by local law enforcement and code enforcement officers. The goal of this program is not to limit your fun or vacationing experience, instead it is designed to ensure a quality stay for every guest and resident on our island. Please be mindful of our neighbors during your stay. Exceeding the noise ordinance could result in disciplinary actions including fines and/or termination of your rental agreement without refund.*

The house is lovely and only two blocks from the gulf. BUT: the dishwasher didn't work, the dryer didn't work, the pool heater never worked. The dishwasher was fixed, the dryer couldn't be fixed so was disconnected, and the pool never got warm. These are first world problems concededly, and the maintenance staff were very nice, BUT at the price, and as we were on holiday we did not enjoy wasting our precious week off dealing with house problems. Unacceptable. The house ought not be rented again until repairs are made.

Great location at a beautiful house. Just steps away from the beach. Lots of beach chairs too. Pool security doors did not work properly, as the alarm went off even when you pushed the button but we just laughed about it after a while. Would definitely stay there again.

House was great for our family stay. Beach chairs and cart provided for the easy walk one block to the beach entrance. House is getting a little tired. Could use some replacement items and a little tlc.

The house was perfect for our family of 9. Everyone had their own bedroom and bath. That was a bonus. Great location with only a short walk of 5 min to the beach. Beautiful sunrise and sunsets from the roof top of you can’t make it to the beach. Water was crystal clear and calm enough to lay on a float in the ocean. Perks of the West Coast!!!! We are from the East, very choppy and rough.
Only suggestion we have would be some lighting in the pool area.With the pool not having a light in it. It can get pretty dark at night. Maybe some beam light on the house corners pointing down on pool, or string lights hung over the pool would be really pretty.
Overall very pleased with our rental, we are already planning our next trip to Anna Maria next year.

Property was as advertised. Bedrooms and bathrooms nice. Living space small for a house that has 5 bedrooms. Location to beach was great. Quiet neighborhood. Prefer a house where main floor is ground level, but knew that when booked. Cleaning people forgot the beer bottles, etc. on top deck, main light switches full of dirty prints, and oven very dirty. Pool area alarm was a minor pain. The rest of the house was good. The 4 * on the rating was mainly because we had no propane for our steak and shrimp on the last night. We had only used grill one other night, briefly. Disappointing to have to fry them in the house. We were advised to go purchase a new tank and they would reimburse us, but at 7:00, and 30 minutes to where we could locate one, we said no. Overall, we had a good stay at this property. Not our favorite vrbo, but definitely not a bad one either.

This house was wonderful. Everything was really clean and new. The home accommodated 5 adults with ease. The heated pool and spa was a nice option given the beaches were a little cool. Everything worked perfectly, we would stay again.

The property was advertised on VRBO as having around 4500 square feet. As soon as we arrived, I knew that it was not that size. We estimated that it was probably around 2500 square feet. We wrote AMI and they assured us that it was 4500 sq feet. A couple of days later they change the square footage on the VRBO listing to 2112 sq ft. So very disappointing to fraudently advertise a house for twice the square footage that it actually had. We contacted AMI immediately to ask how they were going to rectify this. Having more than 2000 sq feet less in a house is significant. They said they would refund $500. We felt it should have been significantly more because in addition to the square footage issue, there wer other problems. The house was not clean. There were crumbs on the kitchen counter, hair on the floors in the bathroom, the ceiling in the kitchen was cracking, cookie trays had dried food on them, and a panty liner stuck to a rug in the bathroom. The white slip covers on the sofa were covered with stains that looked likje blood, wine and dirt. We called AMI immediately to come clean. They sent someone out the next day to clean, but it was mid week before the sofa cushions got cleaned. I have rented quite a few house from VRBO and have never had an experience like this. Because of the fraudulent advertising and their unwillingness to refund a reasonable amount on this $9,000 rental, I plan to contact an attorney.

Beautiful
The property is exactly as advertised. It is beautiful and comfortable. It was perfect for our family vacation with 11 adults plus 2 small kids.
A big plus was the neighborhood. It's very quiet and people really do adhere to the 10 pm quiet time.
A couple small issues - the floor was slightly dirty. It's hard to keep clean because of the outside and beach nearby. But it could've been cleaner.
Also, the code we received was not correct (in email and printed on info sheet at the house). We had to call to have someone come out. The good news is that they were very quick to come out and give us the correct code.
Overall, very minor issues and a lovely place to stay.

Wonderful Summer Vacation
First time visitors to Anna Maria Island. Loved everything about our week. The house was perfect for our 2 families staying there. Loved the location of our house, location to the beach, restaurants and shops. We will definitely be back for another family vacation.

Wonderful weekend getaway!
We had a relaxing time at Coastal Queen! We especially loved the pool and hot tub! However, the best part was the roof top deck! The view was breath taking! The beach, as far as I’m concerned, was the most beautiful anywhere in the world! We will definitely be back!

Beautiful house
This is a gorgeous property with five bedrooms! Two of the beach access paths are on the same block as the house. So quiet and serene up on this northernmost tip of the island 😎�. The living and kitchen area has two giant sliders you can push back for wonder breezes which we did often. Would stay again!

Our stay was as advertised. House easily accommodated our group and beach was a short walk away. One small issue was taken care of right away. Only suggestion is to have some type of sunshade for the eating area. We would definitely book again.

Gorgeous new home -- perfect tranquility near the beach!
The home is quite new and looks like it's still in the process of having minor work completed. All in all, we were very pleased. The location is so close to the beach and we enjoyed sunset from the rooftop each night.
No need to bring beach chairs, pool noodles or rafts. These items are in the garage together with a handy beach "wagon".
The hot tub and heated pool were awesome -- just wish there was a bathroom and kitchenette on that level! :-) (looks like they may be installing a bathroom in the near future).
It appeared animals were in the home before our arrival, so if anyone in your party is allergic, good idea to find another place. My mom and brother suffer from dog and cat allergies and were quite affected.
Be sure to bring toiletries and dishwasher detergent, dish detergent, laundry detergent, etc. if you plan to use those appliances. There are no cleaning products, paper towels or napkins n the house. We ran short on toilet paper, too. The kitchen is stocked with dishes, glassware, pots and pans and there are plenty of beach/pool towels and bath towels supplied.
We had more than enough room for 7 people and never felt on top of each other. Very nice home and PERFECT location.

Spectacular Family Home!
Our whole family (8 adults, 2 toddlers, and a 3-month-old) spent a week at this home for a family Florida vacation and couldn't have been happier! This house is gorgeous and had plenty of room for all of us! The bedrooms were spacious and comfortably furnished, the kitchen area was well-stocked with equipment and easy to get around when cooking, and the roof top deck was a treat for viewing the morning sunrises and evening sunsets. Of course, everyone LOVED the heated pool and the hot tub! We had just a few questions about the house while we were there and Traci was contactable, engaged, and really pleasant to work with. We made some great famliy memories in this home and look forward to returning again to make more!

We had a blast! The house, pool, & rooftop views were all amazing. The location was great. It was within walking distance to the beach & and in a quiet location. We did not want to leave, & hope to be back again.

Great stay in spite of red tide
House and accommodations are wonderful, comfortable and better than the pictures. Everything was in working order and the pool/hot tub was very clean and ready when we arrived. House is close to the beach and town and Anna Maria Island is beautiful. Would definitely stay there again. This was a great stay in spite of the fact that there was a red tide event going on so think how wonderful it would have been if it had been clear.

What a stay!!
All I can say is, WOW! We had a great stay on the island. The house had more than we needed and everything was perfect. The pool and spa were beyond enjoyable. Great local restaurants! We will be back!!!
