Expansive Views Of The Gulf, Beach and Nature Sanctuaries From Beach Front Gem Bring your family and be one of the first to experience the perfect beachfront island vacation at the Beach Sanctuary. Enjoy the amazing views from three levels of this stunning and well-appointed architectural home. Perfectly located toward the southern tip of Estero Island (Fort Myers Beach), the house was designed to maximize your appreciation of one of the more beautiful spots in the world. With a beautiful large sandy beach directly in front of the house, you will also enjoy looking at Lovers Key to the left and the pleasure boat traffic going between the islands, and nature preserves to the right of the beach. The bird watching from one of the three balconies is second to none. Perfect for three to four couples or large extended families, this newly renovated and beautifully furnished house can comfortably sleep up to ten guests. Keep yourself and the kids active with healthy activities! In addition to enjoying the warm Gulf of Mexico waters from your beach. And if you get an afternoon tropical rain shower, or if the sun gets too hot, you can take a walk into town (Santini Plaza area) and get an ice cream cone. Don't forget to come back in the evening for dinner at one of the excellent restaurants there, ride the bikes or walked down the beach to the tiki bars about a mile north on the beach, or make use of the outdoor BBQ grill at the house with the fresh fish and shrimp for the local farmers market. For fishermen, the fishing from the beach is renowned as the tides going in and out of the bay pass right by. Boat rentals and fishing charters are available at the Fish Tale Marina behind Santini Plaza, and there are numerous golf courses a short drive away. The house features a king-size master suite with a beautiful bathroom. The other two large bedrooms have king-size beds. The top floor "loft" has double bed/trundle/bunks and sleeping in beds for four, along with a spectacular view and direct access to the loft deck! The beach is a wonderful swimming beach. Don't worry about packing beach towels as we provide them. The house is at the very southern end of the island. So, less traffic than further north on the island, and it is very easy and fast from here to get onto the mainland and back and forth to the airport. The beach is large and the water's edge is about a three-minute walk from the house. Notes on the area: To get your bearings, you are at the southern end of Estero Island, otherwise known as the town of Fort Myers Beach. It is one in a series of barrier islands (or Keys) that are along the Florida coast. Just walking out on the beach you can see amazing things: Head to the water's edge and you may see dolphins swimming by and amazing sea birds. If you turn right and walk up the beach you will immediately find yourself in a nature preserve that makes you feel like you are on a desert island. People love to walk up the beach, and at low tide, you can find some beautiful shells. If you walk up north about a mile, just past the preserve, you will come to a hotel with a nice tiki bar and restaurant called Pinchers Crab Shack. There's another tiki bar a little further up. If you head north along the main road, Estero Blvd., about a mile up, you will come to Santini Plaza. This is a commercial center that has numerous restaurants and cafes and shops. Truly Scrumptious is the place to go for ice cream and American breakfast and coffee. The South Beach Grill has the highest quality food in there for dinner, but the other restaurants are all good. On Tuesdays, there is a farmer's market in Santini Plaza which has excellent produce, as well as seafood and barbecued meats. Just past Santini Plaza is the CVS pharmacy, where you can get not only all your pharmacy needs but they also carry some basic food like eggs, butter, milk, bread, cereal, coffee, etc. Just behind Santini Plaza is the Fish Tale Marina. Here you can rent powerboats to take out yourself, and also hire a guided fishing boat for a day-long fishing trip if you want. A little further north along Estero Blvd is Charley's Boathouse which is a good family restaurant with an excellent salad bar and good fish dishes, and there is also a cinema around there. The major supermarket for the island is called Publix and is in the middle of the island, so about 3 miles north of the house on the right-hand side. Behind Publix is a marina and also the Bayside Bistrot - a very good restaurant. If you continue north on the island you eventually will come to the North End. This has a totally different feel - very relaxed with lots of bars and restaurants. This is where the younger people go to party and has a totally different "vibe" from the south end. It can be very fun, but the traffic heading north can be difficult due to the construction work going on on Estero Blvd. Very close to you, just across the bridge, is the Lover's Key State Park. This is another beautiful nature preserve with trails. Also just across the bridge is a resort on the left (bayside) that has a nice waterfront restaurant. I think they also rent kayaks in there as well. If you continue south over the bridges and islands you will shortly come to Big Hickory Island, and on your left is the Big Hickory Grill. Continuing south you will eventually come back onto the mainland in Bonita springs, and further on you can get to Naples. This is where to go if you want to do any bigger shopping. It's also where you would go if you want to golf as there are a number of golf courses in that area. Many people want to go to Sanibel and Captiva Islands, and this makes a wonderful day-trip. These are the next islands north of Estero Island. They are quite easy to get to, but with the traffic on the north end of Fort Myers Beach, you would want to leave fairly early in the morning to get off the island to the north before the traffic builds up. Just stay on the main road (Estero Blvd) which then becomes San Carlos Road once you cross the bridge onto the mainland. Keep going until you see an overpass highway, and turn left there onto Summerlin Road. Stay on that and you will shortly come to the causeway and bridge over to Sanibel. But if you go, plan on staying the day so you come back late enough in the afternoon or early evening so you don't hit the traffic of people trying to get onto Fort Myers Beach. NOTES:. NO pets allowed! The minimum age to rent is 30. Air conditioning is set at 74 during the day. You have the ability to turn it down at night.

Heather at Luxury Vacations was a Rock Star, she took care of everything we needed immediately. We had an awesome time!!

The house was amazing, the view was gorgeous and the weather was perfect. Though it was sad to see Fort Myers with so much construction, it was nice to be there without the enormous crowds. No complaints about the house, but beach toys for the kiddos would’ve been nice and maybe a wagon to haul it all in. The walk to the water is significant. But we loved it, this maybe the house return to year after year ❤️

The house was beautiful and was perfect for our long weekend!

Upon arriving at the home, we were a little taken back by the basement portion of the home not being there per the pictures and a few things weren't as tidy as we thought they should be for a luxury stay. We spoke to the owner and things were fixed and explained right away. Apologies were given and the customer service ethic was great! The owner was very communicative and available for any questions we had. Outside of the little set back my family of 7 plus guests of 2 loved our stay. The view, the area ( despite hurricane Ian's slight devastation and rebuild of the area) was still super relaxing and peaceful. Our kids loved the private beach stay. We saw dolphins right at the edge, were able to see the sea turtle tracks and nests but not them physically... We saw pelicans and skimmers everyday then on our last day we had a flock of pink flamingoes land right in back of the house and we're Able to get great shots to take back home with us. Some area entertainment is still open and we were able to take some boat rides and mini gulf as well as visit some restaurants. The balcony of the home even though close to the beach and the marsh area next to it was still peaceful enough and breezy even on those hot days and I was pleasantly surprised by not being bothered by any bugs at all... I would rate my stay even with the slight issue a 10/10 . This will definitely be a place our family can visit annually.

Beautiful location. Some pictures online need to be updated to accurately show property after hurricane. We had an excellent time anyway.

We absolutely loved this house and this location! Perfect quiet, stress-free get away! Loved the nature and wildlife in the nearby nature preserve as well!

Big and spacious for
multiple family members. Beautiful views from comfortable large deck. It is about 400 yards from the water so you need to take that into account. We had a wonderful stay. However, this was one of the only places rented along the entire Estro Blvd due to the hurricane damage. We did have problems with biting sand fleas and the red tide caused allergic reactions from some family members. But I think this is just a left over of the hurricanissues

Ft. Meyers beach is still very much impacted by the recent hurricane. This home is still under the remodel process. This was not noted in the listing. Given the circumstances in the area, the living areas in the home have been very well addressed. There are some areas that needed attention, and I am sure will timely be addressed. The check in process was not provided to me until I arrived at the home, and took some time to obtain. The management company did communicate with me, and addressed concerns timely. The shelling along the beach was fabulous, though as noted by other guests, it is a bit of a walk to get there. Overall, highly recommend giving this place a try. It would be great for a larger group/family/girls or guys trip, etc. It was still very nice for a romantic getaway for two.

Family vacation
Beach is a little bit of a trek for older folks but Lovers Key is very close. Used the kitchen almost every night. Had everything we needed. Jessica was fast to respond to every request.

The house was pretty run down, the bedrooms were okay but the pictures were very misleading. The kitchen was not very clean they were missing a cabinet door the drawers were dirty inside we pulled out pots and pans to use and they were dirty. The outside deck needed done work the grill they had to use was a piece of junk and the cushions on the furniture that was on the deck we’re definitely dirty snd look like they had been there for about 8 to 10 years. Also we could not sit outside in the evening and enjoy the view or the sounds of the waves without being eaten alive by no seum bugs. Also we had 7 people and the couch they had wound not sit all of us.. The lower level that had the pool table was musty. It was not a great experience and I would not recommend this place. The only thing that was great was my contact with Jessica she was great and very on top of things. I called her because one of the shower glass doors were about to fall off and she had some one out the next morning to fix it.

Prior to arriving at the property we received wonderful communication. We received instructions on how to get in but none of the codes worked. The property manager was quick to assist and we were able to get in. A new ping pong table had arrived but remained in a box in the entry way the entire week we were there. The current ping pong table was warped so it is great people will get to enjoy a better table, just wish someone would have put it together prior to our arrival. The house is great: lots of space, comfortable beds and areas and wonderful kitchen and showers. The refrigerator did not work great and a few times we worried about spoiled food due to the temperature. The place was clean but there were little bugs that were in the kitchen and bedrooms. We aren't sure if that is typical of beach living so we would clean them up and move on but they would come back. There were 2 slats broken on the 2nd floor deck that were hazardous to the kids but we made sure they didn't venture to that side of the deck. The gate on the 2nd floor was also broken so we would keep a chair in front of it to keep it closed. The bunk bed has broken slats and we were worried about the safety of it so we made 2 of the kids sleep together in the full below, thank goodness it was a full. The hot tub is beautiful and someone comes by to make sure it is taken care of but the cover does not clamp down and flies away in the storms. We spent time after each storm hunting down the cover and dragging it back to the house.
The location CANNOT be beat and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the sanctuary. It seemed to be a fairly new rental so directions on what to do and things to be aware of would be a great addition in the future.

Wonderful House.
Overall, love the house, you cannot beat the views. J.C., the owner, is fantastic and is very responsive. Unfortunately, he no longer manages the company and has left this to a property manager, who is not the most responsive. We had to buy our own toilet paper since there was only one partial one on the roll and no extra, no extra paper towels, and we had to buy our own sponge to wash our dishes. Other than these minor issues, the house was a 5/5.

Amazing house and location
Clean and comfortable beautiful house. Well appointed. King sized beds in 3 bedrooms on the main floor - all very comfortable. Houses 3 couples easily and comfortably. 3rd floor has double bed and twin bunk along with extra mattress and cot for families with children. Views from all 3 decks are amazing to watch the sunrise and sunset. Main floor deck comfortable outdoor seating for eating or just relaxing in the shade. Beach is beautiful - well maintained. Bottom floor has large rec room with pool table and ping pong table along with comfortable seating and large TV. Hot tub is a definite plus. Easy access on/off Ft. Meyers Beach from the south. Quiet and relaxing neighborhood. Would definitely rent here again in the future - it was by far the best rental we've had in the 6+ years we've been coming to Ft. Meyers and area.

Great family beach vacation
The house was great. We had 4 kids (3,7,8,10) myself and husband and his parents. The house was the perfect size for the 8 of us. The kids loved the play room. We mostly enjoyed time on the beach either down at the water or just in the sand by the house playing. The kitchen has everything we needed to prepare meals and plenty of storage. I definitely liked that the home had some soap and laundry supplies as well as paper products to get you started.
Thank you for a great relaxing family vacation.

Fabulous Beach Week with Girlfriends!
Five girlfriends shared this house for a fabulous week of relaxing and beach walking. Loved the beach view from the covered deck. Spent most of our time there. The upper deck was great for sunning and watching the sunsets. The area was perfect. Very private and no commercialism. And everything we needed was right up the street. We would definitely rent this house again!

Amazing view!!!
The view from this beach home is absolutely breathtaking. The shelling is endless and the owners are so easy to work with. Our entire family loved it and will be back. The pictures do not do the view justice. Thank you for allowing us to spend a week in your home.
