About this condo rental
Aloha and Welcome to Kihei Sands Beachfront Condominiums Condo B13 in sunny South Maui! Condo B13 is a 2-bedroom, Ocean View townhouse style condo on 2nd level at Kihei Sands Condominiums. It sleeps 4 with a King bed in main-level bedroom and a Queen bed in upstairs loft. Sony 40" HD TV, DVR recorder. New Mitsubishi A/Cs. This condo is priced for 4 persons - we'll add $42/pp/night for each additional guest over 4, up to 6 guests total. A child under the age of two at the time of arrival will count towards the total number of guests allowed, however the extra fee will not be charged for the child. Kihei Sands Condominium sits directly on one of Maui’s best beaches, Sugar Beach. From our oceanfront pool and barbecue patio area you can practically touch the beach - clean, sandy, unpopulated, and stretching for miles in either direction. How far is it to the beach? Literally around 6 feet! Our Patio and lawn areas are idyllic. Enjoy each morning with fresh brewed coffee and each evening watching a spectacular Sunset while you grill dinner and sip a beverage. Kihei Sands is a special place full of the Aloha spirit. Our intimate layout provides the perfect location for reunions, group getaways, honeymooners, seniors, families, couples and friends. With 22 units to choose from it’s easy to find the perfect fit for everyone in your group, from number of bedrooms (1, 2 & 3) to bed configurations. Kihei Sands offers a wonderful alternative to crowded resorts with the intimate nature of our complex offering only 29 units total. To promote the health and safety of our guests and staff we have put into practice an enhanced protocol for vacation rental cleanliness: Kihei Sands Superior Clean. Our new cleaning program meets or exceeds CDC recommendations and aligns with guidance from hospitality industry experts. Our goal is to provide even more support and protection to everyone in the Kihei Sands community. A short walk down the beach you’ll find several eateries and shops, including a Fresh Produce Market, ABC Store, Bakery, Shave Ice, and a small diner. There are numerous dining and shopping options within a couple miles of Kihei Sands. Our central location makes it easy to access all that Maui has to offer. We had 3 families (10 of us) in 3 condo's at the Kihei Sands Beachfront Condos, and we really enjoyed it. It was awesome to be right by the beach, to be able to walk on the beach every day, enjoy the beach every evening, and to chat with other renters (who have been here often before). The units and complex were quiet and convenient to drive to and from.

Our stay was very relaxing and pleasant. The condo had very comfortable beds, but the rest of the unit definitely felt like a rental property. The fan in the kitchen is dirty and there was paint peeling by the lanai slider in the unit. I questioned the pool cleanliness, but it was getting a lot of use by kids. It would have been nice to see the ocean from the lawn chairs but the hedge is overgrown and weedy. Aside from that, we enjoyed the quiet accommodations and complimentary morning coffee and tea on the patio.

If you are looking for a resort within walking distance to resturants and shopping dont book here. If you are looking for a quiet beachfront location, with a friendly vibe, this will meet your wants. All units are indivudual owned, therefore no 2 are alike. We have stayed in both the 1 and 2 bedroom units, if something is missing a quick chat with either of the Managers and it is promptly dealt with. Unit B13 is a nice 2 bedroom unit and is well equipped. What we enjoy mostly is the social aspect on the Lanai in the morning and at dinner time.

This is our second stay at Kihea Sands. The pool, patio and BBQ area is perfect. Sit on the patio and watch the whales and listen to the surf. Convenient location for sightseeing as well. Our unit had a few issues that were addressed. I would have the owners install a new mattress in the loft area as this one seems a tad old. They also could use a few more dish towels and a drying mat for dishes but that was a minor problem.

My family stayed at a Kihei Sands Beachfront condo for a week and we had a wonderful time. We were welcomed with a comfortable, clean, space and a basket of welcome gifts. The the beds were comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. We were three and made use of the sofa bed which was perfect for our group. The beach is just a few steps away. The location is great with easy access to Kihei and the roads leading to the other parts of the island. The place was peaceful and quiet. We were glad to be able to borrow some boogie boards and chairs available.

This unit is one of the more updated units in the complex. The kitchen was very nice and more roomy than others. Also the bathrooms have been updated very well. The sectional in the living room was comfortable and offered good tv viewing. Overall you can tell the owners have a lot of pride in ownership for themselves and their guests.
The management staff, Patrick and Connie, are very helpful and go out their way to make sure any issues or questions are dealt with in a timely manner.
The units have all the usual beach amenities available to enjoy the beach, sand, ocean, and pool.
The only negative was during our stay it was quite windy in most of the afternoons which limited most local activities and beach time to the am.

We live on Oahu and came to visit for my Brothers Birthday. I asked to check in early but we were told it wasn’t done and we weren’t able to check in until 3:15pm. The unit was nice and the pool was small but clean. We had a great time at Kihei Sands Resort. The condo itself was supplied with all the essentials. Loved that the beach was so close. A short walk down the beach to a wonderful bakery and farmers market. The property managers were very accommodating. The parking lot is pretty tight - I practiced my backing up skills. Kihei Sands is a small condo complex located on the quiet end of Sugar Beach. The ocean front lanai provides the opportunity for guest to mingle over morning coffee thru to evening sunset. Each unit has it uniqueness, some with the bare essentials only. B13 owners have provided many little extras making the unit was very cozy and comfortable. A few small maintenance items that came up were promptly handle by the onsite staff.

We loved everything except for a couple of points. We didn't use the patio/bbq area in front of the beach because it was always packed with people. It felt a bit claustrophobic and crammed together with tables etc. Second point is the checkout time and house cleaner. We already thought the checkout time was a bit early at 10am and this would have been pretty much ok but the housekeeper arrived shortly after 9am and knocked on the door to see if we were out of the rental. We told her checkout time was 10am and we were working on being out by then. She then stood right outside the door until 10am and (with a sour look on her face) knocked again and gave us a dirtly look that we weren't quite ready. We told her just a couple more minutes we are almost done, but she then knocked again in 10 more minutes and gave us another dirty look. She also didn't even speak to us just communicated with the dirty looks. 4-5 min later we started bringing out stuff out and she was standing their glaring at us the entire time were bringing our stuff out with her arms crossed and again the same dirty look. To be honest, this treatment really put a bad taste in our minds after a wonderful experience in the condo.

Our family stayed here and loved it! The AC worked very well, there were so many amenities we were able to enjoy including the grill, pool toys, lay our benches, sunscreen(!), and more! Everyone was extremely nice and welcoming and the beach was amazing just steps away. Kitchen is fully stocked and we were able to cook many meals at home. Ample parking was always available and the location has easy, fast access for anywhere on the island! We can't wait to come back again.
